"The whole atmosphere when you walk in is warm and inviting. The million dollar view is worth going just for that. The food by far is the best I have ever had. Proper chefs preparing proper dishes with fresh ingredients and flair that will leave you saying "WOW" . Whether a simple stop for a glass of wine and maybe a cheese plate or a special occasion, this is the place to be for sure. I always mark my calendar for my next visit!"

"My daughter took us (4 of us) to the restaurant for lunch. Upon emtrance, we were offered a glass of orange juice mixed with wine or whatever. We were seated immediately and the service was good. A man and a woman played some music which was very enjoyable and a added touch. The food served was very good. We all enjoyed the lunch. When the bill came, my daughter found out that the orange juice drink costs $9 each which we were not informed. We all thought it was part of the lunch deal. The restaurant should not do this without letting the diners know all drinks are extra. The restaurant is being tricky!"

"We visited Vineland Estates Winery Restaurant on recommendation and very glad we did. We live outside of Buffalo so we travelled an hour but it was well worth it. Everything was fabulous from the service to the exceptional fare - and we are foodies!! The menu was a bit limited in choices but a nice variety and what they do they do well. The wine was very good as well. An especially nice touch was the live music of a single guitar player who beautifully played a variety of pieces from familiar tunes to jazz and blues; quiet & soft enough to enjoy conversation (we were one table away from him) yet audible to enjoy. A destination restaurant for us but we will definitely be back again and again."

"Its a great place for lunch before visiting Niagra Falls or Niagra on the Lake. The view is just outstanding. We would have loved to sit out in the patio since the weather was just perfect. Unfortunately patio was not ready for lunch. The management should have got it ready in time since the weather forecast was great for at least a week in advance. The food & wine selection was great & service was great."

"We would rate our experience as 4 out of 5....the service was superb and friendly, the setting is lovely and the food was excellent. The flank steak and cheese board were outstanding. Two improvements for a perfect mark: more vegetable on the plates, and also some noise buffering. We came here some years ago and there was live acoustic guitar entertainment for lunch, and recall a quieter ambience; and wonder whether there might have been carpeting or some other sound-absorbing material which was changed in the meantime."

"Thank you we enjoyed our experience. I found the food portions larger than a previous visit which would have been my complaint before but I was honestly impressed as were my parent's celebrating their anniversary. Very nice day, you staff were very attentive."

"Our party of 3 had reserved lunch and that process was very efficient. The Restaurant has a great balance of casual and formal feel. The 3 course creative menu included a wonderful scallop appetizer that was so good my wife asked for it for her main. The cumbrae flank steak was very interesting. Wine pairings with each course were very good. Service was prompt and efficient. All in all a nice combination of view, service, atmosphere and food."

"Great service. Wonderful wine selection. Great food. The scenery of the winery at the top of the Niagara escarpment is stunning. In addition, if you become a wine club member, the meal with wine included is very inexpensive."

"We loved our menu. There was a mishap with our appetizer which consisted of mixed greens with goat cheese. The cheese was missing from the plate and was brought separately when we had actually finished the first course. The main dish which was duck confi for myself and short rib for my husband, were excellent. It was an enjoyable enjoyable experience."

"This was our first visit and enjoyed the experience a great deal. The dining room was lovely and service was attentive but not obtrusive. I had the lamb osso buco; so tender I didn't really need a knife. My wife had the salmon with quinoa; fish was wonderful but quinoa was a bit salty. Overall, the experience made for a great special occasion destination restaurant."

"we were seated at a table too big for two. We found it an awkward seating arrangement and the restaurant was not full. Considering how not busy it was our server didn't check on the quality of our meals soon enough. Ordered rabbit gnocchi and it arrived with no gnocchi. second effort arrived with a runny sauce?Lamb Osso buco was tasty but nothing special. cream of sun choke soup tasted like cream with no sun choke but the pork belly & scallop were perfectly cooked. Guitar soloist provided the only ambience and oddly we were seated directly in front of his amplifier."

"We had a great experience. The snow was cleaned and we had easy access to the restaurant. Knowledgable staff. The chef is to be commended on both the quality and presentation of the dishes. We did not get to the wine cellar. We look forward to that on a next visit."
