"Overall, this was an average experience. Ordered the bone-in Ribeye, was not good. Tough and chewy not what you would expect from an aged steak, plus it was under the temperature I requested. On a positive note Stone Crab special was very good! Service was average to below average. Waitress was very stiff, robotic...overall very disappointing for a Ritz Carlton. Cannot recommend."

"I have traveled throughout the US and have eaten at numerous upscale restaurants. This is by far the best dining experience I've had to date (and I am over 60 yrs old). I would definitely recommend the Ritz-Carlton, Naples for a more refined dining experience.We ate in the Grill Room and the food was excellent, ambiance exceptional, and the service impeccable."

"Our week-long vacation came to an end with our favorite dining experience. We had a lovely table for two near the fireplace. The service was impeccable from the moment we were seated until the last crumb of our dessert. The salads, entrees and desserts were prepared with perfection and presented in an artistic manner. Though the restaurant was full, we felt we were in our own little spot enjoying the food, the piano singer and each other..treat yourself to this spot; it makes an evening memorable."

"On 3/6, I made a reservation on 3/24 using this site and received a confirmation email accordingly. However, when I arrived, the restaurant had no record of the reservation & the hostess was not polite about it. I showed her the conf. email & she didn't apologize, just blamed open table. I was disappointed 2 C that reviews posted on this site indicate I was not the only diner that experienced this problem (& the impolite hostess). I have been dining at this resturant and staying at the hotel for the past 22 years and I have never had a complaint about the grill until now. Once we got past the hostess, everything was perfect as always."

She said they received no Open Table reservations for that night because of the site's technical problems. We did get a table which made us happy, but it was touch and go for a while. What the heck? "Great atmosphere-beautiful.
Best to request a specific table if possible as we were initially seated in a row of tables directly next to another couple at an hour when there were ample more private tables open.
The food was had entirely too much salt added by the kitchen/chef for our liking. The side vegetables and the entrees (halibut and filet mignon) were clearly seasoned with salt when their natural tastes would have been appreciated if not obscured by the saline taste.
Had great guests and conversation and the hour was late and restaurant was busy so we did not send the items back which would have entailed sending everything back really.

"Spent a long weekend in Naples and stayed at the Ritz. Had a nice dinner at the Grill but I suppose after reading the reviews, I was expecting an even better experience. Ambience was very nice and service was as well. Wine list quite robust as were the associated prices. Side dishes were the best part of the meal. Steaks were definitely good but I can make a good steak at home. I would return and try it again and would recommend it but it did not live up to my expectations. Perhaps I had set them too high..."

"Went on Saturday night. Restaurant had very classy upscale atmosphere...dark wood paneling..nice carpeting...paintings on wall...woman singing at piano bar...well dressed and friendly waiters...etc. Unfortunately, ordered martinis were heavily laden with vermouth...had to order extra vodka to make them palatable. Also, filet mignon's that were ordered medium rare were served medium...did not complain, however,as quality of meat was excellent. Otherwise, was a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend to others and return for another experience."

"The food and service were very good. The table we got was in a corner 9f where there was a Diner-like arrangement of cushioned seats against a wall. We were soon accompanied by a very loud group of 8, which prohibited my wife and I from hearing each other talk.
For a $200 meal, I will never go back. They can keep serving their seasonal Hotel guests, but I now realize why the people who live in Naples dont frequent this place. Our last experience here was awesome, but in the off season when they must appreciate our local business a little more."
