"Made reservations 6 months in advance for a party of 9. Confirmed reservation. Arrived an hour before reservation, checked in and waited for 45 minutes for the table. Order wasn't taken for another 20 minutes. Meals didn't arrive for another hour. So now it's two hours after our reservation time and we still don't have food! When it finally arrives four out of 9 meals were inedible- burned to a crisp while one was cold.
Waiter never brought second bottle of wine ordered or the dessert the guest of honor ordered.
All in all the worst dining experience everyone in the whole party ever experienced."

"Appetizer ordered was the blackened steak tips. We ordered rare and some were overcooked. The flavor was OK, but we would probably pass next time.
Although a steak house, we did not go for steak tonight.
I had the short rib grilled cheese, my lovely bride had the bacon cheese burger. Both were outstanding!
(Really - don't miss the short rib grilled cheese! It was much better than anticipated and I will be back for it!)

I had creme brulee - one of the best that I have had outside of upscale french restaurants and my own kitchen (it's my favorite dessert - I have spent YEARS practicing it)

"While the food was excellent the service was awful. The place was empty yet it took the waitress 10-15 minutes to bring our drinks and the manager had to take our food order. And he talked too much! Would only recommend because the food is excellent."

"We had a early dinner on a Saturday evening. Dining room was quiet with only a few other diners. Our waiter, Greg, was very attentive and pleasant. Manager made a point of welcoming each table. Food was excellent - we started with the Blackened Scallops, a great choice. I had the steak special, a melt-in-your-mouth experience. My wife had the Milanese Style Chicken and loved it. We had the Creme Brulee and Chocolate Mousse Cake for dessert. The only, very minor, issue was that there were no pods for the espresso or capucchino after dinner, but that did not detract from our experience."

"We were rather disappointed. The iced tea was awful; we had to send it back and get water. The server was very forgetful and failed to clean the table before serving dessert. We had to ask for a steak knife. We also did not receive a lunch menu and ended up paying from the dinner menu.
We had been here once before and had a really good experience. It's unclear how everything came so unravelled on this particular day."

"The food was very good..... service is good. The restaurant typically caters to the traveling business crowd. my date and I both had seafood dishes which were incredible. Her scallops were seared to perfection and served with an incredible corn side dish. I had the crab cakes which were loaded with crab meat. we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food."

"My wife and I visited on a Friday night, which was a lot quieter than I expected. Only a few tables were occupied. The menu includes some fine-dining options as well as some more affordable options, with a spectrum that I think could satisfy just about anyone's taste. Our waitress recommeded the spinalis, which was something I'd never tried before, even though I thought I knew a lot about steak. I liked it better than any beef I've ever eaten in my life. It isn't on the regular menu, though, so you might have to ask about it. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely be back."

"We always enjoy Shulas but when we go there it is typically quiet. I think that is because it is part of the Sheraton hotel qnd most og there business comes from hotel guests during the week. That said, the service is always fast and and everything we order is done to perfection."

"Rose given at the restaurant was a nice touch. This being said, there were a few things that would have made our dinner better. I requested extra tomatoes for my salad. I had to ask for them a second time. Of all things, the pepper shaker didn't work well. The steak was cooked as ordered; however, we've had better for the price at Angus Barn or Firebirds. Asparagus - woody ends were not removed. Found this out when I bit into an end-not so great and quite unexpected. Another plate would have been nice when dessert was served. Our waiter was attentive and followed up on all requests. Oh, there were no "comment cards" that came with the bill and no one asked us how our meal was going till we were going out the door."

"Shula's 347: Yes, it was on the higher price side. However, the food was fantasic. Our steaks was cooked perfect and was absolutey delicious. Our service was also perfect, our server made recommandations that we we probably would have missed that only perfected the dinner. We went for my birthday and had a great night."

"We visited for Valentine's day and ordered the special menu. The food was excellent - cran cakes were hot, fresh and mostly crab meat, the steak and veggies were perfectly prepared. I did notice that bread was not offered and we asked for bread. We noticed no other tables had bread, so thought that was the norm for this steak restaurant? Bread that came was also hot, fresh and delicious. Service was a little slow for an uncrowded evening, but we weren't in hurry. Our server did tale our forks after the crab cakes and our steaks arrived without the means to begin eating. Another server quickly provided when politely asked. Overall, I was pleased with Shula's and would return for another special occasion."

"Our dinners of the filet mignon were perfectly cooked to medium rare--flavorful and tender! Lived up to our expectations after seeing the Shula restaurant featured on an episode of Man vs. Food. Good portions of accompanying seasonal vegetables and potato. Our server was prompt and attentive though it was a busy holiday crowd (Valentine's Day). Would not hesitate to return for another special occasion or when in the mood for a great steak dinner."

"Four of us looked forward to dining at Shula's on Valentine's Day and anticipated great mouth-watering steaks. The steaks were mediocre at best; outback would have been a better choice for steaks. The waitress said that the chef could make "Pittsburgh" steaks but he did not. Our friend said send them back so they could get them right but then they would be done eating before the corrected steaks came out. Do it right the first time or don't say you know how to. The service was wonderful and the ambience was pleasant. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon (although in fairness, we will go back for one more "experience" because we are of a mind that you have to give a restaurant at least two trys before discounting it altogether)."
