Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

"The food and the ambiance were fine. This was our second experience at this particlular Morton's Restaurant. we have had the same problem on both occasions. when we were seated, we announced that we have to leave for the theater in one hour and fifteen minutes. We were specific in advising our server of this. Our salads failed to materialize until thiry minutes had passed! We were forced to rush through the balance of our meal instead of having time to savor everything."

"Overall it was a Nice Dining experience. Food was great and service was great. The only thing that irked me was initially when we were seated there was a waiter mix up of who was going to be our server. As soon as that was sorted out, they were 5 stars all the way and even made up for the slight over sight with complimentary drinks, cappuccino and deserts."

"it took about 35 minutes to be seated even though we had confirmed the reservation twice. it was not a holiday and there wasn't anything special in town to cause this delay. it was just poor time management. this was not a very good first impression. however, the food was great and the server was top notch. so overall, i will say that i will return for the excellent food/service. i hope this helps! enjoy!"

"The food was outstanding. My husband and I went to dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day. My only negative thing to say, is that we had a reservation for 8:00 and we did not get seated until about 8:40. We even arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation, and we were told 10-15 minutes until our table was ready. At 8:15, my husband went to check on our table. The host told us we would be the next one seated. However, that was not the case. We saw them seating other people before us. Finally at about 8:40 we were seated. We understand that it was the day before Valentiene's Day and the restaurant was busy, but, we did not even get an apology for the long wait. We were disappointed that we had to wait 40 minutes for our table."

"Experience was less than satisfactory.We treated our friends.We immediatly were confused by two servers.The beginning speach of the server was fast and none of us could think fast enough to keep up.The men ordered double prime rib and asked to cooke it more than the med rare.It was served rare, was tough and stringy. The creamed spinach was cold & did not taste well.We were constantly being interupted by no less than 7 people asking how our dinner was, making us stop and respond.This was very anoying.Twice, one waiter would ask if we wanted another drink, we would respond and then 2 minutes later another waiter would ask the same question.They took my wifes salad w/o asking and she was not done. For $320 we expected more.I was embarrassed"

"The service was impecable while the food was excellent, as always! Went in with a Special Deal and the staff made sure that we knew that we could make changes to the offerings included in the deal (2 eat for $99.99), to include variations to the Salads and Appetizers included in the Special Offer, to include any off their regular menu. Since my wife absolutely loves their Chop Salad, they allowed her to have that instead of the House and Ceasar Salads that normally are the only 2 offered. All in all a very enjoyable dining experience."

"I booked a table for Friday 02/12/10 for my girlfriends birthday. When we got to the restaurant everyone from the Hostess to the servers treated us like royalty. Everyone was super attentive to our needs. The staff went above and beyond what we expected. I had not had service like this in a very long time. The food was incredible, our steaks were made to perfection. All I can say is that we left with a huge smile and will definetly be back. Thank you guys for making this event unforgetable."

"I should have sent my filet back. It had too much grissle and it was hard to chew. But my friends steak was good so I didn't say anything. My dog loved my left-overs! Our waitress was hardly ever around. The last time I was at your restaurant it was really good, so I guess it's hit or miss.I was disappointed but I'll give it one more try.Some of your prices are a bit over the top. $3.99 for a glass of club soda? There are too many great restaurants in Fort Lauderdale with the same type of food and atmosphere with tastier food, and better prices."

"Decided to finally try a Morton's and was not disappointed by any means. It was our anniversary, and despite only having made the reservations 45 minutes prior to our arrival, there were personalized menus and numerous greetings of "Happy Anniversary" from staff. Dinner was excellent -- all entrees were prepared as specified and of excellent quality. We were very pleased and even received a souvenir anniversary photo taken while we had dessert. We will be adding this establishment to our list of favorites."

"Our dinning experience at Morton's was a disappointment. We ordered a wedge as our salad, which was delivered on the dry side, when we asked for more dressing we were informed they ran out of Blue Cheese, (then why server the salad). The asparagus was undercook, the hash browns cold, replaced with the same ones smashed together attempting to cover up a piece missing from our first taste and put them in the deep fryer. The steaks were good and they did presonalize the menu's for our special occasion but the overall experience was not what we expected. There are other steak resturants in the area that are a much better dining experience for your money."

"Morton's did a nice job personalizing the menu for our anniversary. The waiter was very good with recommendations and the food was absolutely delicious and in abundance. They have a special going on that made the cost very reasonable for this caliber of a restaurant. I will definitely be dining there again. "Mortons is a great example of how to do a limited and relatively straightforward menu extremely well at multiple locations. This is not cordon bleu or fine dining but its very good none the less. Its real food: Big bowls of tasty soup, salads that someone has perfected a dressing for, great steaks, massive juicy scallops, ginormous deserts all done as well as they can be done. Its not cheap; even the $99 for two special menu we had runs way beyond that when you start adding drinks and wine and options, but they always give you freebies, in this case a bottle of wine, a loaf of their bread to take home etc."

"Took my partner there for his birthday and was not disappointed. We had both eaten at Morton's in Chicago and other cities, so we knew what to expect both from the quality of food and service and the price.
The only disappointing aspect was the venue itself. We were not impressed by the interior design or location as it seemed they did spend a lot of money on either. The dinning room was too bright, especially over the booth where we sat. The tables were too close so the table of 8 with kids next to us felt as though we had no privacy and were a part of thier dinner and they ours. At the prices they charge, their should have been a live piano playing in the bar and in the background adding some atmosphere.
A place for special times."

"It was OK to fairly good , really only because of the food . Private parties meant that we , the " ordinary " diners , had a VERY LONG wait for our food , 1hr+ . The wine list contained only VERY EXPENSIVE wines , the overall bill was on the high to very high side , the table side food explanation was far too long and garbled , comlimentary liquers were offered openly to the priveleged few , only the food itself justified any pretension to first class restaurant ."

"We arrived twenty minutes early for our 7 o'clock reservation and they had no problem seating us right away. Our server was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and did not leave us wanting for anything. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and was excellent. When we were finished we did not have to wait for the check and they made sure to notify the valet so our car was waiting for us when we got outside. I would gladly come here again (and plan to)."

"12/18/2009 We dined at Morton's in Fort Lauderdale during their special holiday lunch hours. There was so much pepper in the lobster bisque that you could not taste the soup. The entrees were not even warm, the shrimp and scallops were tasteless, the grilled ribeye steak was paper thin. "Morton's for lunch with my wife & four year old. We arrived at 2:30 pm, we were the only ones in the restaurant, seated at a booth. Seated immediately, we had the Holiday Lunch Special, 25$ for a soup/salad, main and desert. We both had the rib-eye, onion soup, she a Key lime pie & me a chocolate mousse. The steak came with a HUGE portion of mashed potatoes, very fresh, the steak was a smaller version of their dinner ribeye. But it was still very tasty, big lump o'butter on top as served. We had a great view of the kitchen and could see the Chef's cut up the huge potatoes and make the mashed stuff. Anyway, we had a very pleasant and amusing lunch since we were the only ones in the restaurant. Very delicious foods, super clean,will be BACK!"

"We were especially taken with the restaurant decor and atmosphere. Everything is lovely. The food is fresh, good and well prepared. The rib eye steak was a bit too gristly for me, but typically I order a filet and had decided to try the rib eye for a change. This could be just my preference. My companion was very happy with the rib eye. It was prepared exactly as ordered. The baked potato was terrific and garnished perfectly. The tomato salad was delicious. However, the creamed spinach was less creamy and rather tasteless. Coffee was great and our server was very accommodating and efficient. With our former usual meeting place, Jackson's, now closed, my sister and I will enjoy meeting at Morton's during our regular outings."

"We were really looking forward to the venrable "Morton's Steak House" experience and a great steak with awesome sides. We entered and felt like we were in a jazzed up Friday's. The bartenders uniform was just as cheesy as his demeanor and conversation and the bar was about empty. We waited 20 minutes for our appitisers: cold oysters and shrimp cocktail. After eminding him 2 x he finally brought it out. Not bad. Then we sat at our table. Yes: they had a bone in PorterHouse, just like Able & Louis back home in Boston. But, it looked, and tasted, like Outback Steak House. The mushrooms looked like they came from a can and the backed potatoe from a microwave. What a total disapointment. Like a bad movie."

"We had dinner at this Morton's when they first opened about 11 months ago. Then we decided to try it out again. The service and food quality were great! Our waiter did a superb job keeping up with all the details. He made our dining experience a memorable one. Although their wine prices appeared to be a little on the pricey side.
