"This was our first time at Harry's on the waterfront. For the prices, we were expecting top notch. The staff at the host station was not as gracious and friendly as one would expect from a restaurant like this. In fact, when I covertly mentioned my fathers birthday and if there was something they could do. I was quickly told, "Ask your server." The food itself was a disappointment. The menu was severely lacking in seafood options except for several kinds of fish, sashimi and raw bar selections. The crabcakes were very good, the shrimp were large, but rubbery and old, and the filet mignon was terribly salty and overcooked. The shining moment was dessert with a delicious Apple Crisp and a Berry Rhubarb Upside Down Cake."

"Unfortunately, we were driving for five hours through Andrea's downpours (usually 2 and 1/2 hours from NYC) when our GPS took us to a location that did not exist. After circling several times, we called to see what was wrong. The receptionist explained that their GPS address should have been 1 South Orange, not the postal address. We tried to follow those dirrections, but circled twice before we pulled into an alley and parked, prepared to walk in the rain until we found the restaurant. Fortunately, the alley was only one block from the restaurant. We arrived soaked and not very happy about it."

"The scallops were great as we're the mussels. Soups excellent. Tuna heavy taste to the type served, prefer yellowfin. No simple broiled or baked fish, over kill on fancy sauces. Calamari was superb, crispy and tasty. Gelato was outstanding, too!"

"Nice Restaurant to dine in, clean, friendly, comfortable, and our waitress was VERY attentive and friendly. It's a romantic atmosphere, nice view, tables are not too close together.
There were many dishes on the menu to choose from, plus your desserts were outstanding, with lots of choice ,the coffee was a little strong.
The wine list was exceptionally good, nicely priced, a mixed drink would have been nice for my wife."

"Our party of five enjoyed the seafood and the service was excellent; however, the main dining area is sterile and stark, and the noise level made it somewhat difficult to hear conversation within our table. The flat walls without sound absorbing materials and the open cafeteria style seating were definitely minuses. The ambiance at Harry's on Naamans Road is excellent compared to Harry's on the Riverfront. I would not choose to return to this restaurant even though the pricey menu was good. There are too many other options available that offer a more satisfactorily complete dining experience."

"Met a friend for a business lunch this week. Hadn't been to Harry's Seafood Grill in a couple months, but it was great to be back. Just a quality run restaurant with great kitchen and wait staff execution. "Sunday night for Mothers day and the place is packed. Our 7:15 reservation got us a 7:30 seating. The waiter/kitchen must have been swamped or we were forgotten or both. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks and bread complete. We ordered quickly but did not get food for another 45 minutes. We were the last to leave the restaurant it seemed. Food was excellent but I do t think we will be back here during a busy time unless it is made right."

"We selected this restaurant for Mother's Day dinner. Food and service were okay, as noted. The restaurant interior is very nice...well done. However, the rest rooms are located in a hall adjacent to and serving the Market area. Just awful. Leaving the restaurant through an interior exit door taking you out to a hall area, leading to the rest rooms, makes all of the restaurant ambience a waste. An establishment of this caliber and reputation should be better than this.
The menu is also pricey, considering the "sides" are a la carte. Sorry, but we won't be back and will most likely not recommend this restaurant to friends."

"Service was neglectful at best. Took forever to be recognized by waiter. Had to lasso a different waiter and ask for service. Food was long-delayed and inedible. Swordfish was so tough neither my husband nor I could eat it. Waiter brought me (and charged me for) a second glass of wine that I never ordered. Couldn't get out of there soon enough. Have been here many times over the years, sometimes good, sometimes not, this was the worst visit ever. We will not return."

"When we arrived we told the hostess that we had a confirmed reservation, made through Open Table. She said that Open Table reservations were not confirmed and we were told we had to wait!! I have used Open Table before and you send us a confirmation which I assume also goes to the restaurant.
