The idea behind One Eleven Chop House was to establish a Chicago-style steakhouse right here in Worcester. The elegance and sophistication of the decor complements some of the best-tasting steaks and chops you'll find anywhere. All of our cuts are either certified prime-grade or in the top 10% of the choice grade. And they're all expertly prepared. Choose from traditional steaks done right or less traditional favorites, such as Long Island Duck Two Ways, Sirloin Encrusted in Black Pepper with a Shallot Brandy Cream Sauce, or a Mixed Grill of Filet Mignon, Confit of Duck and Blackened Shrimp.

"Made a reservation online, easy enough. We arrived early and had drinks. Our table was ready on time.
Servers were prompt without being pushy and took the time to be attentive despite the evening rush. Food was excellent, very flavorful and well presented.

It is a busy place. A bit noisy near the bar,..nothing excessive, just lots of people having a good time.

"We were seated immediately (with reservation). There was a decent crowd for a Wednesday night in Worcester, but the noise level was perfect for dining/conversation. The food (I had surf/turf) was as good as you'd get at any of the big name steak houses. The service was outstanding; attentive but not hovering. Price was quite moderate for the level of food/wine/service. And easy and cheap valet parking. This place is a gem."

"I wanted the filet done as a Steak au poivre - it was a disaster: everything came separate with separate charges - the mushrooms, the sauce, the steak. The side of potatoes was a ridiculous portion for one person - server could (should) have given me a heads up.

"The food is good to very good. The wine list is ok but very overpriced for the selection. They need someone there who truly knows the wines. The wait staff doest really and they had not tasted it. At a higher end place like this, when I ask for a "little extra" ice cream on my dessert I would have expected that as part of the service. Not give me an extra scoop then charge me $3 extra on a $180 meal. That's short sighted from a service perspective."

"My husband and I recently enjoyed an anniversary dinner at the Chophouse. The waitstaff was superb, attentive but not overbearing. The food was prepared very well. The courses came out very quickly which was wonderful although being an anniversary dinner, we would have liked to linger a bit longer. All in all a very nice evening."

"Great steaks and chops, very good to excellent service, a good wine list and very nice decor. Our only complaint is that the high ceiling in the main dining room are conducive to noisiness, If you're interested in conversation as opposed to a lively party atmosphere, request the small room in the raised area to the right of the main dining room or, better still, the back room that is attached to that. If you like lamb, thy the braised lamb shank here. The aroma will blow you away. Most recently, I had the Prime Boneless Rib Eye which was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty!"

"Having three kids under the age of 6, we very rarely get out for a nice adult evening. When my husband's birthday came, I knew we needed a night to ourselves. "My family enjoyed dinner here for my son's college graduation which we mentioned to our server. "We went there for our anniversary. Our server was very knowledgeable. We had the seafood platter and was able to sub oysters and clams in place of shrimp. The lobster bisque was amazing. "Our waiter was one of the best! Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and frindly! We requested a bottle of champagne to be brought to our table and it was there before we even sat down. "Word of mouth and online comments brought us to 111 Shrewsbury Street. Our waitstaff of Stacey & John were very accommodating, making suggestions that enhanced the flavors of our meals. Food was exceptional and cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Everything went smoothly for the 2 1/2 hours we were there. The only negative, if it really is a negative, was that the restaurant got noisy as it became full. But being older I attribute that more to my hearing than the restaurant.

"We were seated promptly and had 2 servers taking care of us - both were very capable. Wine was delivered to the table in carafes instead of being poured from the bottle which I found strange given the restaurant is billed as as a higher end restaurant. I ordered red wine and thought maybe it wasn't fresh given the aroma but it opened up niceley. Entrees (glazed salmon and filet mignon) were cooked accurately but the glaze on the salmon overpowered a nice piece of fish. I had a side of asparagus w/ my steak which was mushy and disappointing. The filet was very good. Overall, given the local reputation I expected more from the food at 111."

"While I believe that the Chop House is a steak house in line with the greats (S & W's, Ruth's Chris, Morton’s and Capital Grill, there are a number of other excellent options as well such as great seafood and creative dishes.
The desserts are to DIE for.
While I went with a very close, long time friend, I would say that this could be a very Romantic spot is you sit on the upper level or the Wine room"

"It was our 30th wedding anniversary dinner shared with friends, and as always continues to amaze me in their service and food. Chop House is my husband's favorite restaurant so I am happy to go there even though I am a vegetarian. When I chose to eat just a salad and side dish, because everything else is fish or meat, my waitress offered to have the chef make a vegetarian meal for me, not on the menu. It was pasta with fresh vegetables and was so delicious, it should have been on the menu. Our friends all enjoyed their steaks, and especially the mushrooms in a wine sauce. The dessert, a favorite of ours, was the Porterhouse chocolate cake with white chocolate as the bone. Great evening!!"

"My boyfriend and I had a reservation for his birthday dinner, was seated right away, and then had one of the best meals we've ever tasted or experienced. It was very fancy and classy without being stuffy. Our waitresses were authentically friendly as well as knowledgable about the food and wine, able to recommend things based on what we seemed to like. We said in passing that it was my boyfriend's birthday, and at the end, they quietly brought out a dessert with a candle in it! Overall, it was fantastic and I have no complaints."

"The 111 Chop House is a very nice place to dine. It's got a fancy atmosphere yet you do not need to dress up. Jeans and a nice shirt are acceptable. The wait staff all wear jackets and work in pairs so you are taken care of at all times. The food was pricey but it was excellent. I would eat there again but it is more of a special occasion place for me. I really enjoyed the experience. The only complaint I had is that it is VERY loud in the restaurant and if you are looking for a quiet cozy romantic evening, this is not really the place for that."

"111 Chop House never comes up short on food or service. They have some of the best steaks I've ever eaten and the service is always attentive and some of the staff have more outgoing attitudes than others but overall, their goal is achieved in making the customer feel welcome and making sure they have a good experience. We told the waiter up front that we needed to take our time as our daughter was doing a photo shoot at a local venue and he made sure our meal took it's time, which we were very thankful for! My husband is a Gelato-freak and you have some of the best he's ever had so it was great when one of the waiters offered to grab it from Via!!! Needless to say that was the cherry on top of the whipped cream and our evening!"

"This was my first time at 111 Chop House. The experience was great! I was able to communicate easily with the staff before arriving that it was for my boyfriend's birthday. They had a dessert with Happy Birthday written in raspberry sauce on the plate delivered right after the meal. We would definitely go back ! BF loved his steak too!"

"We went for my son/\'s birthday dinner. His sister and my girlfriend don't eat meat. The waiter gave us great suggestions. The chef made special dishes for them. The executive chef came out to make sure that she enjoyed what he had prepared. The waiter promised that they could do more if we told them of her diet in the reservation."

"111 Chop House is a special restaurant that offers a casual yet very luxurious dining experience. Loved our servers, Kevin and Mary, and cannot wait to go back again soon. Looking forward to trying different appetizers and entrees, but will also definitely be requesting Kevin as a server again. His knowledge and service is what made the biggest impact on my enjoyable experience there."

"We were there to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. Our table servers Ben and Chrisoph were outstanding. They went out of their way to make our nite special.The food was excellent I had the veal chop , the cranberry butter is wonderful. My wife had the Lobster oscar which was also outstanding. Lobster bisque was a meal in itself.Salads excellent and the clams casino. When we ordered our coffe and desert, Ben and Chris came out will a wonderful message of "Happy 35 Anniversary" printed on our plates! It was very touching and let me know when you staff speak to people they do listen, remember and are caring.
This is our spot for Anniversary dinners."

"Server's recommendation of flank steak was disappointing - tasted a bit gamey. The firecracker sushi was great. The surf and turf was good, the steak was wonderfully tender. We were seated next to the drink/serving station - people leaning over my seat all evening getting water and silverware - don't let them seat you there."
