"At best, the food is mediocre Americanized Chinese and extremely overpriced. I expected more sophisticated and creative dishes for the $500+ we spent for a party of 3. WP24 is obviously a tourist trap that lures in the unknowing and those that rate quality solely based on price."

"We came here in a large group for dinner before the Clippers game. Considering there was a large group, everyone was catered to with a large selection and variety of choice.
It was perfect pre-game food: good pizza, burgers and tacos. The portion size is just right: not too large, and the starter salads are also great. Highly recommended for good quality, crowd-pleasing food, especially if you are eating before an event at the Staples Center.

"We dined with another couple also celebrating an anniversary that coincided with a business trip. The menu of upscale comfort food presented beautifully, in a comfortable leisurely setting was just perfect for us that night. The restaurant was not full, which made the noise level very manageable. I can see how it could be very noisy for conversation otherwise. Service was extremely attentive without being intrusive. We all enjoyed the food and wine, and the dessert we shared which arrived on a pretty plate saying Happy Anniversary; an unexpected touch."

"After we were sat I asked the waitress if we could sit outside where the talk tabkes were and she said we have to have a reservarion for that and I wasn't sure she was telling the truth. Or did not make an effort to find out uf the table was available. She took the order for soup and salad abd did not bring bread or did not see her for a whike to ck i n us to see if we needed anything else. We needed bread, butter and tabasco and had to ask the person who brought us water to get that. By then we were almist done. We had ordred pizza and they were terrible. I would rather go to CPK next time. Totaly disapointed with the service and food. Never eat at their restaurent."

"Ordered the calamari: "sorry we're out of it' ordered the ravioli, same reply but this time with a snicker. What we had, mushroom pizza, Mac-n-cheese was good but cannot recommend a place that can not keep menu items in stock. Also ordered Bombay Sapphire martini with a hint of St Germaine ("make sure it's still clear") and was charged $2.75 extra. I order this drink out exactly the same way 3-5 times a week and never been up charged. Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but there are plenty of other establishments where I will choose to spend my money."

"We went prior to Clipper game and were a few minutes late for our reservation. Hostess was very kind and seated us promptly. Restaurant was very crowded but with a great vibe...everyone happy and enjoying themselves. We let our server know we going to the game and the service could not have been better. "service was either overworked or understaffed but we repeatedly could not get our drinks refreshed, long wait for a simple salad and the waiter never showed to see how our entrees were (not good). Food was mediocre and not reflective of WP's well know reputation. Surprising since Puck's organization is known for its quality service and attention to cuisine. Our lunch fell far short. We left half the gnocchi on the plate and nothing was said (and it was not good)."

"We have been to the restaurant many times before events at Staples Center. We usually order the same thing (pizza and pasta). This time we ventured into other items on the menu and we were really disappointed. Flat iron steak was good, with a ton of french fries and a very dry arugula salad. Nothing special. My wife ordered the pancetta wrapped meatloaf on a bed of mashed potatoes. Sounds good, but to be avoided. Very mushy, tasteless and you had to look very carefully for the pancetta. Even a very good wine(?) sauce could not salvage.
