This lively restaurant is the second location for the South Bay’s Premier seafood and steak establishment. ROCK’N FISH at L.A. LIVE offers a fun,vibrant, casually elegant atmosphere with its full bar featuring over 200 brands of liquor, its 300 bottle wine list with focus on California wines, and extensive dining menu capturing the flavors of American regional cuisine.
With the addition of a quarter million dollar exhaust system; ROCK’N FISH continues their tradition of capturing the unique flavor of oak grilling for their vegetables, fish and meats along with offering freshly baked breads.
You have your choice of seating options, whether you prefer a casual bar table, a booth in the main dining room, a table in their heated, enclosed patio, or even to host a private banquet of up to 50 guests. Keep in mind that the patio can be seated year round. If you miss the happy hour on the early end, be sure to catch it on the later side and look for the late night menu as well.

"The food here was really good. I ordered the BBQ shrimp and it was amazing, but a little bit on the pricey side (but what can you expect from LA Live?). We went to celebrate my friend's birthday and had noted that it was a birthday in our reservation. When the restaurant called to confirm, they told me we'd get a complimentary bread pudding. Unfortunately, our waiter never brought that to us and it seems like the fact that we were celebrating never got conveyed to our waiter. However, he was nice, friendly and patient with us. Overall, I had a good time, but probably wouldn't return unless I had a good reason to be at LA Live. The price of parking, food, and drinks is just too overwhelming to do often."

"Atmosphere is great. I recently took my girlfriend there for Mother's day and we both loved it. We got the Blackened Catfish. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a lunch or dinner spot. Its good for romantic type dates or just hanging out with friends. Great place and great food."

"I've been to this restaurant 4 times. Each time we were seated quickly and we tried different things each time. Everything was good - prepared well and tasted great. The staff were accomodating of our food and change of seating requests. The menu has a huge variety (its not just fish) There are TVs on the pattio and throughout the restaurant and bar which is great for my family members who don't want to go out w/o watching sports too. Great HOT sourdough bread. Nothing negative to say really."

"For Mother's Day, we made reservation. The host sat us in a section with no waiter or waitress. We sat there for 30 mins without anyone asking us if we have been helped. People who worked there, just walked by looking at us. The table next to us had to get up and go to the host and tell him that they have been waiting. That's the only way we got help. the food is the only reason i would come back. Not a good experience this time around."

"As you see we did enjoy the whole OpenTable experience. This was our first time and it was great except for the gumbo I decided to have as a special treat coming from Las Vegas!! I was not able to eat but a couple of spoonsful of the sticky rice and the thick sauce because it reminded me of a kind of sauce or gravy one would have with stewed chicken or pork chops over rice. First of all, I was born and raised in Louisiana and your special dish did not remotely resemble what we southerners call "gumbo!" This is not unusual and I try to steer away from places that claim to know how to prepare gumbo. What was attractive and appealing about your restaurant is that it is a FISH/SEAFOOD place and we figured that you would certainly know......"

"When you first walk in the place looks very nice and modern. We got there a little early before our reservation time. We sat at the bar and had a drink and it was made strong the way I like it. When it was time for dinner we sat at a table which was for two but very small table for two. To start off with we ordered the jumbo prawns which were great nice and big. It was my birthday and all I was looking forward all day was to have lobster. I asked for lobster at 5:15pm on a Friday andI was told they were out of lobster, that was a great disappointment. So I decided to order the Filet Mignon and it was not very tasty at all. The other order was signature new orleans barbecue which was very hot but very tasy."

"My experience was only for lunch on a weekday, so it was not crowded and the noise level was not bad. However, it would be very hard to hear your companions it it were crowded because the tables are so close together. Much of the interior is painted black, which for lunch I found to be too dark for my taste; maybe at night it would add to the ambience. The service was ok, but not great. We had to wait almost 10 minutes before a waiter came to take our drink order."

"We usually don't like chains but Rock 'N Fish changed our minds. We were very pleasantly surprised to find service to be professional, food on a par with individually owned and run better restaurants, and the atmosphere to be energetic enough without being overwhelming. "The service saved this place for us. It was stellar. The food, not so much. I had the seafood jambalaya and was underwhelmed. It had cream sauce - REAL jambalaya does not have a cream sauce to it. It didn't have any of the New Orlean's flavors I was told it would have nor did it have any spice to it - which is definitely part of the traditional recipe. I'd have to say my husband's kapalua rib eye was the best thing. Flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The garlic mashed were good as well. I'd say the best 3 things we ate were:
