"This was a Thursday 7pm dinner. The restaurant came highly recommended by a colleague and is close to where we were staying in Midtown Manhattan. The place was very quiet (we were one of 3 tables occupied in a fairly sizable room), which we appreciated. The service was excellent - and the food authentic, original and flavorful. The Prix Fixe menu was $38 and had a generous choice of delicious dishes. Over all, with only 1 cocktail, the bill came to under $125. Well worth it. You should go."

"This is the third time I have eaten here. It is a very attractive, pleasant place to have lunch or dinner. The staff was very attentive, the room was attractive, - light and bright for lunch, the food excellent, and the price fair. I have recommended this restaurant to many people all of whom reported that they enjoyed it."

"We really enjoyed our evening at Cibo. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is not rushed. The prix fixe menu is a great deal. The food is very good and there is a nice selection on the menu. This was our second time here and we would definitely come back. It was a pleasure to be able to have a discussion with friends and be able to hear each other. It happens so rarely in restaurants these days!"

"Excellent for business lunch. Great service, efficient, pleasant. A wide variety of very good choices. I always select the salad with ahi tuna and it's always perfectly rare as odered. The salad with shrimp is also excellent and gorgeous. Lovely seasonal soups. A very solid, reliable go-to place to dine."

"I have been to combo twice, once with my fiancé in summer which was so delicious that I brought back my sisters entire bachelorette party of ten for dinner. The food is amazing all the girls were talking about still the next day. Staff was great they set up a lovely table were so sweet. Drinks are awesome bartender really knows what they are doing both times I had special cocktails that I've never had anything as good before. I will keep bringing people back to cibo!"

"Celebrated my daughter's birthday here. Just the two of us. And we wanted a special Italian meal. We were not disappointed. Delicious squash soup. PEI mussels. Braised lamb. Handmade pasta. I had sent a note to the restaurant using OpenTable that it was a birthday so they had a special dessert plate already prepared. Excellent service with waiter who knew the food and could help us make choices."

"I'm a frequent customer at Cibo. Food and ambiance is quite good, as well as value. Its weak point is the service, which is often uneven. If you hit a good waiter it's great. But the majority of the service is often indifferent, with difficulty getting the attention of your server. Since it is usually crowded, I attribute this to a lack of an adequate number of wait staff. They have absolutely delicious foccacia, which they make themselves."
