"When I made the reservation I mentioned it was my 80th Birthday. I did not expect anything gratis but at other eateries they recognize the event and send over a slice of cake with a candle. I believe the admin end of Mulinos requires an uplift. I mentioned my name when we entered and they escorted us to our table. Halfway through the meal another lady came over and said what is your name and did you have a reservation?
This is not a review but to let you folks know."

"I was in the restaurant business, service industry for 12 yrs & I am a food & servoce critic when it comes to dining out. The attention & commitment to excellent service was duly noted & the staff, including the manager & owner work as a team together unlike much of what I've seen or am used to. I've had excellent service before, but this was on top of the favorites list. First time there, having been visiting family from out of town & got the recommendation from my cousin. My fiance & I were more than pleased."

"I was less than impressed with Mulinos. The service was poor. The food was adequate. We had reservations at 8pm. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. Our dinner order did not come out until 945 and was literally a piece of fish thrown on a plate. The waiter then placed a small bowl of mashed potatoes in the center of the table for 4 people to share. Definitely well overpriced for what you get."

"We love to go for special occasions, especially around Christmas time, it is always decorated so beautifully. We brought our children and they loved it, they asked to go back for their birthdays. The food was wonderful as always, and has a great variety. We will continue to frequent as much as possible."

"The menu is all inclusive and the portions large. It is fairly priced. Food, while flavorful, is indelicate. Sauces tasty but thickened to gravy like consistency..the service is quick to a fault..if anything feels rushed. The decor of the restaurant needs updating. I had not been there for years and it was unchanged...needs a face lift new lighting...White Plains is developing a repertoire of fine dining...that is newer and more fresh."

"This is a special occasion place. The ambiance is just right with the outside waterfall a nice extra. For that once a year company dinner I find Mulino's to be perfect. Excellent food and great service. Steak au poive is always good and veal chops are great."
