Great Food…Good Friends…Fun Times. Friendly, casual spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Signature Buttonwood burger, freshly ground daily; stone-fired thin crust pizzas; comfort dishes, pastas, salads. Lively lounge with extensive craft beer menu and "Buttonwood Growler" program. Outdoor dining and bar in season. Margarita specialties!
"As the weather finally warmed up on the first of June, decided to take a ride out to Peddlers Village, for a relaxed dinner of casual dining, that offers both indoor and outdoor dining areas. A great place to have a well made burger, cooked the way you wanted, with a variety of options....add a extensive choice of seasonal and micro brews to the mix....let summer begin. Prices are reasonable and fair for a tasty variety in their menu, good service and beverages."

"We have been to Buttonwood a few times; this last visit the noise level was very high, the service was deplorable-we waited for at least 10 minutes before the server showed and it was another 10 minutes or so before 2 waters and 2 sodas arrived which were after our appetizer. The calamari appetizer was skimpy and greasy; when asked how it was we were clear that it was ok but no one bothered to ask us anything more...why bother asking if you don't really care. Our meal of burgers was good as usual, we didn't bother to have dessert which we usually do as we've had enough. We may try it again to give it the benefit of the doubt...."

"Limited entree choices, lots if different beers. Calamari was not worth ordering. Fish tacos with shrimp were delicious! Bread beforehand was great, too. Fries came out cold. Waiter was very good and accommodating with our large group of 7."

"Went to New Hope/Lahaska area for the day. Made reservatons here for breakfast. The food was good but nothing spectacular although our friend's wheat pancakes were really good. The restaurant is really quite pretty; the outdoor eating area is big although no one was taking advantage of it as it was quite cool!
I would eat here again."

"I used the computer generated reservations and it worked very well. We were seated immediately as we arrived, even 10 minutes earlier. Our server was prompt, efficient, and came back to check on us several times during our dining. Our entrees were well prepared and our evening at the Buttonwood Grill was was an excellent choice for a relaxed birthday celebration. The perfect restaurant for an above average casual meal for the whole family in a pleasant setting."

"THis was our first visit to Buttonwood Grill. We were a group of four attending their Easter Brunch. We arrived 20 mins early but were seated immediately. The waitstaff were very attentive and the buffet dishes were quickly replenished when running low. Food was excellent. Definitely plan to return in the future!"

"We were there for Easter dinner. Great menu and buffet. When it came to after-dinner coffee, they had no half and half...just use milk. (Said cavalierly by our waitress...). Seriously?"

"I dined for breakfast. It was just ok. Garden Omelette was ok- not horrible....not smack your momma good. The breakfast potatoes were pretty tasty. The whole wheat bread on the other hand was amazing! They said they ordered it from LeBus. Our server was solid. May go back to this restaurant...may not."

"We used to eat here from time to time when it was the Spotted Hog. We read numerous reviews prior to eating here. Many of the reviews were accurate (felt like a chain restaurant, food was good, experience was good but not notable, etc). Our Server was pleasant, but inexperienced.
We had the butternut squash for an appetiser. It was delicious, but as stated in numerous reviews it didn't come with enough pita bread. We felt like we had to pile up each piece or we would run out. I ordered a Guiness & Onion burger medium and it came out medium well (very tasty though). I would order it again, very good presentation. My wife had the grilled BLT with Avocato. Delicious!
Extensive list of craft beers on tap. Nice!"

"Dinner menu choices were very limited besides burgers and sandwiches. Just a few entrees and none looked very appealing. The waitress was very nice and helpful, but service was extremely slow on a night when the restaurant was only about half full."

"A pleasant experience with very tasty food and enjoyable ambiance. The presentation was excellent. The service was generally good but for tables along the window all the servers had an irritating trait of reaching across diners to get to those seated fartherest from them. Two of our guests were professional servers who immediately noticed and were quite surprised at this lack of professionalism. There was plenty of room to go behind diners to serve over the shoulder. This problem was also observed at other window tables. Additional training on this point would greatly enhance the overall dining experience."

"Stayed at Golden Plough for the weekend. Breakfast was included with the package. I was skeptical, but The Buttonwood Grill was a surprise. A very new restaurant, contempory and comfortable feeling upon arrival. Servers were friendly and attentive. I had an omelette and my husband had the 3 x 3( pancakes, eggs and sausage). Both were vey generous plates, more than we needed! A leisurely breakfast in a cozy, relaxing environment. Great experience, we will be back."

"Was totally surprised by how good the food was. Have to say that though I only got a burger it might have been the best burger I have ever enjoyed in a restaurant. And I'm a serious burger snob. My husband indicated that his vegetarian option was also incredible. We would definitely return when back in the area."
