"Very delicious meal. The mussels were so good and I just could not get enough of the brooth. My surf and turf was very good as well. Service is always exceptional and I never get tired of dining at Blue Hill. I have been at least 20 times and never had a bad meal. One of my favorite go to spots when I have folks from out of town and want to treat them to a nice dinner. Keep up the great food and service."

"Another great experience at BHT. Jonathon waited on us again and he did a fantastic job. My wife starte with the smoked oysters and she called them the star of the evening. I had a cream of mushroom soup that was out of this world. For our entrees, my wife had the Bronzini special which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had the pork tenderloin. For dessert, she had the french toast bread puddding and I had the Candy Bar. Both plates were very clean when they took them back to the kitchen. BHT delivers in every aspect. Creative drinking and dining options with excellent service. Also, a free valet makes the evening that much better. One note. BHT is getting more and more popular. Make a reservation, especially on the weekend."

"Everything about our experience at Blue Hill Tavern was great, but the standout was our server. I didn't catch her name but she was extremely helpful and knowledgable, and was perfectly available when we needed her and absent when we didn't. (This is a skill most servers take many, many years to acquire.) She even described the wine with a level of expertise that would make her a great sommelier."

"The restaurant vibe is fantastic and the food is always phenomenal. The mussels-of-the-day is a must-have anytime you go and always ask for some advice on what to order and what wine to pair with it. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether you are a Baltimore resident or just visiting. It is one of the best the city has to offer."

"We have been to BHT many times now, and we continue to be impressed every time. Our server, Jonathon, did a great job. It was only his second shift (he told us), but you would have never known. I had the mussels appetizer, which on this visit, were cooked in a coconut milk and pineapple juice sauce with garlic and butter. Very good combination. My wife had the fried mozzarella roulade, which she enjoyed. For entrees, she had the rabbit and dumplings and I had the pork tenderloin. Both were very good. Desserts are always good at BHT. I had the lemon-cherry cake, and my wife had the hazelnut opera cake. Thoroughly enjoyed both.
There is free street parking, but they also have free valet service. Also, be sure to make a reservation."

"We just returned from an excellent meal at Blue Hill Tavern. A superb coriander encrusted tuna melted in my mouth, cooked just medium rare and served with bok choy, rice and a sweet potato puree. My partner had a veal chop which was tender and succulent, and the sides we ordered just fit the bill ... sauteed spinach and potato/corn hash. We started with a foie gras and a bacon-wrapped scallop (actually 2 scallops). Enjoyed every bite. We chose a cava to drink from a varied and affordable wine list. And we recommend the opera cake."

"A group of friends and I made reservations at Blue Hill Tavern to celebrate a special occasion. As soon as we got there we were greeted with kindness and taken to our table. Our waitress was excellent and the food/drinks were amazing! The ambiance was perfect and we really enjoyed being there. When we finished our meal, the host graciously called us a cab to take us to our next location. My friends and I really enjoyed our night there and we plan to go back again. It was wonderful!"

"What can I say? excellent Food,attentive and efficient service, great atmosphere, Blue Hill has that and more. Decent wine list from $32 and up. Have the mussels prepared in different varieties for an appetizer! I had the Black Cod with a soy/ginger on rice noodles and I loved the simple presentation, large portion and fantastic taste. My wife enjoyed a perfectly prepared Filet Mignon and crab cake and our friends had the sea bass. The white chocolate creme brulee was quite good as well. I have not spoken to anyone who doesn't love the Blue Hil!"

"service was fast and friendly. hip atmosphere, especially in the bar. the classics are always great there: chateaubriand sous vis for 2, 25 oz tomahawk ribeye, veal chop, miso cod, chicken liver pâte, pork belly starter, kobe burger. had the scallop/shrimp scampi risotto. the lemon lightened it up. mom's veal chop was smoky and flavorful and large. wife had the cod, be wary if you aren't a big salty fan, but the fish falls apart and the noodles are tasty, good portions. nice drinks, seasonal sangria, infused vodkas. great for a romantic dinner, girls night out, or a dressy casual bite. big deck outside. very accessible from outside Bmore. key lime napoleon, salted caramel ice cream with cookies and BIG apple crumble ended it decadently"

"We were a party of two that was seated at a two top table. A group of approx ten was going to be seated next to us. A management staff came to our table and explained that a party of ten was going to be next to us and was concerned about the noise. He offered to reseat us. We declined, however. We did not want to loose our very attentive waiter!! The fact that the manager reacted and ask us before we would have had an issue was great. Its common sense but a lot of establishments still dont get it. Obviously Blue Hill does!!"

"This restaurant is always a great choice! Whether for a special occasion or casual dining, the menu always has something to surprise you with. The restaurant has a very casual feel but definitely a place where you would go if you want your palate to be engaged. "It is so refreshing to find a restaurant with a moderately priced menu, delicious food and... Especially.... a glass of wine that is more than a thimbulfull.
My only criticism is the noise level.... it was so noisy on the first floor that i could barely hear the person acrsss the table.

"The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. The staff sat us earlier than our reservation time, and was very attentive and accomodating during our meal. The fried mozzerella, pork tenderloin dish and key lime pie were absolutely sumptuous. I would've rated the whole experience as Excellent, but the service at the downstairs bar was less impressive."

"We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and we were treated very well by our waiter. The wine he helped us choose was perfect. A complimentary glass of champagne was a really nice touch and it was so nice outside that we dined outside on the deck. The Tuna was terrific, cooked perfectly, and the surf and turf (especially the crabcake) was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband. The dessert was the only disappointment. My husband really wanted cheesecake but those little teenie cheese cake puffs were not appetizing. My salted caramel icecream was okay. A flan would have been better. Thanks for a lovely evening."

"We had a very nice anniversary dinner at BHT. I had noted the occasion when I made the reservation on Open Table and they greeted us with a happy anniversary and then provided us 2 glasses of champagne on the house...nice touch! Wife is a vegetarian and enjoyed the Mushroom Wellington and I had an excellent risotto with shrimp and scallops. This is a very attractive restaurant and I highly recommend it! Free valet parking makes it a breeze!"

"Another outstanding effort! After a minor stumble or two recently, Blue Hill is back on the top of it's game! Food was stellar. Service outstanding! This is the Blue Hill that I've come to expect from my experiences the past few years. Their filet mignon, is consistently the best piece of steak anywhere. I would put it up against any "steak restaurant" anywhere, anytime."

"We live in Annapolis, and once a month, we meet up with friends from Havre de Grace in Baltimore for dinner. Over the course of our supper club get-togethers, we've found some nice "neighborhood gems." We were looking forward to our first visit to the Blue Hill Tavern, and found it to be nicely decorated, intimate with nice low-lighting - just bright enough to see our dining guests and food, but soft enough for more special/romantic occasions. I ordered the PEI Mussels in a nice broth and the chopped salad. They were both very good. Don't recall what others in our party had, but all were satisfied. Wait staff simply went through the motions. Food brought in good order and quickly, but no effort to connect personally, specials listed."

"Excellent and interesting food choices! The calamari salad as an appetizer was delicious. For an entree you can't go wrong with the chateux briande for two prepared sous vide style. Cocktails and service were just ok but I would definitely return!"

"Very nice atmosphere and décor. Revitalized area in Baltimore and valet service. Although not necessarily a kid place, I went with my daughters early and had a nice dinner. Staff was very nice and made us feel welcome despite having children with me.
They went out of their way to make the dinner nice and I appreciate that!"

"My finance and I had diinner at Blue Hill so we could take a look at the place in considreation for a post wedding party. Diner was great, service was excellent, the menu was varried and fresh. I had the rabbit and dumplings, very hardy, great comfort food. Afterward we had a ery pleasant conversation with the manager, Mel which went very well. The manager and staff at Blue Hill are intent on delivery a great atmosphere and a very saifsfyinig experience."
