In addition to what they're best known for - superbly prepared prime red meat - their seafood and poultry offerings are marvelous. Service is stellar - and the whole dining experience is a cut above many other choices. All around beautiful

"As always, Ruths Chris never fails to please. Jody our 'Go To' server was effervescent as ever. Chris, Brian and Food and Wine Manager Sylvan made sure we had a wonderful evening, and the food, for the most part was spot-on. I did have a problem with sinews and fat in my NY strip, but the flavor was fantastic. The restaurant comp'ed the steak and was truly embarrassed for serving it. This is always a great place for a consistently great meal."

"We have been to Ruth's Chris many times over the last twenty years and were never disappointed. . . until this past Monday. Bearing in mind that we saw, perhaps, eight tables of diners, the inordinate time that it took for orders to be take and the equally inordinate time that it took for them to arrive appeared to be inexcusable. Our waiter mis-recorded one order. That necessitated another period of waiting. Those who ordered steaks said were just as always at Ruth's, delicious. Two diners ordered lobster tails which arrived close to room temperature along with drawn butter which seemed colder than the lobster. Additionally, we were forced to use steak knives to saw away at the overcooked, rubbery lobster tails. So sad!"

"Porterhouse for 2! Perfect. Melted butter on the sizzling plates makes it extra-special -we don't do that at home! Ruth's Chopped salad,presents well and is a good starter. No complaints."

"i was disappointed with my experience this time at a Ruth Chris Location. First the steak house salad I ordered did not come with tomatoes. I was informed the kitchen was out and did not have any. I asked for some more bread which I never received. I have to ask for water refill twice before receiving. It took just as long to receive our check as it did to receive our food order. I feel all of this was not acceptable for restaurant of your level and was disappointed beyond any level. I come to your locations expecting a consistent level of service which was not available during my visit the first of which has occurred."

"Made a reservation for an impromptu dinner meeting and was able to get right in - and being in early, were able to get one of the booths. It was nice and quiet and we were able to easily discuss everything over a fabulous dinner; my client raved about her steak with the blue cheese crust! I know Ruth's Chris is known for their steak, but I choose to order the Ahi Tuna Stack - which was stacked with lump crab meat with a red pepper sauce that was mouth watering delicious!
When we left the bar had an event going on and it seemed like everyone was having a fun night!
Will definitely be back for future dinner meetings - and to check out their Happy Hour!"

"The restaurant did not live up to it's reputation. Entrees arrived before salad plates were removed. The server had no place to put the used dishes. One of the strip steaks was so poorly trimmed that it was returned for a replacement. Another strip steak had a lot of waste and probably should have been sent back for replacement. A petite fillet was very bland with an unusual mushy texture. Two baked potatoes were hard in the middle meaning not fully cooked. They were sent back and properly cooked baked potatoes were provided. We will probably not go back due to this bad experience."

"This place always does right by us. We love the service as it is the best in town. The food is always great and I love the filet with crab on top. The place always is busy but they still make you feel like your the only guest there. We try and go a few times a month and really love the place! Our favorite server is Scott but you really can't go wrong with any of them! Make sure you try the Lobster appetizer as it is incredible!!"

"I usually have a really good experience at Ruth's Chris; however, on this particular occasion the Cowboy-cut ribeye that I received did not look or taste like prime cut beef. There was very little marbling and the steak was tough, not worth the $54 it cost. I ordered it medium rare and it really came out more like medium to medium well. I didn't send it back. The service was excellent as usual. The ambience was very cozy. I usually request a table away from the kitchen near one of the windows. This time they placed me in one of the rooms that usually serve as a private dining room or meeting room.. I have always been a big fan of this Savannah restaurant, but the last few times we have been the quality of the steak has been disappointing."

"The appetizers, side dishes and dessert were great. The service was flawless. The only thing that was somewhat disappointing was the steak. I ordered my petite filet medium (pink throughout per their menu) and it came out rare (it was purple!). It was promptly taken back to the kitchen, but after being thrown in the broiler the outside was a little charred (not the best way to enjoy an expensive cut of meat). The manager came over shortly after it was returned to check on us-- very nice and we appreciated his attention. Aside from the temperature issues, the steak was just bland. A little disappointing for a steak house. But all in all it was a great meal and the staff is very professional and attentive."

"We have dined at many Ruth's Chris and decided to try the Savannah location. We almost did not go due to some bad reviews but I decided to trust how our past expreicenes were. We are so glad we did not trust those few bad reviews! It was the BEST service of ANY restaurant I have ever been to and the FOOD was better than Ruth's Chris in Florida or New York. Outstanding!"
