"This was our first visint this place because we heard many great things about it. But I'm sad we even tried it. We waited for almost 2 hours to receive one of our meals. The other oe didn't come out until 30 minutes after. It was times when we wanted to leave. But the manager came to apologize and comped our entire meal. It was definitely a generous thought, but I don't think we would be back due to this experience."

"The service started off okay but it started going downhill afterwards. The dishes we ordered were not available. We had to ask for water. The chairs weren't that comfortable in my opinion. The sushi was fresh but I'd say it wasn't that memorable to me. Maybe I was expecting a different kind of dining experience."

"Not as good as I expected. The sushi was good but not great. Personally I am just as satisfied with sushi from Whole Foods for a whole lot less! I enjoy the Fresh Salmon or 'Sake' the most and I have had better. The ambiance was average and not exceptional, the service was also nothing over the top only what is required. I would not return!"

"We had a group of six and all of us enjoyed the sushi and sashimi. Our appetizers were edamame and baked mussels and both were flavorful and tasty. The service was very good and attentive. We will recommend this restaurant to friends and I am sure we will be back again."

"It was Saturday evening before Valentine's day, and the place was, of course, jammed. We had reservations, but still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. They obviously were trying to accommodate all the people wanting to dine there that evening, but they were not able to bring the level of service up to meet that demand.

The food was phenomenal. MF offers a variety of traditional dishes that you probably can;t find anywhere else off of Buford highway (e.g. jellyfish salad). The Sushi chefs engaged the diners, which was nice. The saki selection is extensive and delicious. I never knew saki to be so good."

"For some reason, I thought this place was going to be elegant and perfect for a date. Although the price fit the bill, the ambiance did not. The venue was much louder than I expected, with energetic music, and uncomfortable tables and chairs. This place is much more fit for a casual sushi dinner, if you can afford it. The food we got was really great and service was excellent. Wine list was also expensive- nothing under $10 for a glass."

"Uh-oh, after our friends raved for us to go to MF Buckhead for sushi, we booked at MF Sushibar! As we drove, we realized we were not in Buckhead, but thought we had the right place. So that being established, there two Atlanta sushi restaurants called MF! Onto our dining, it was outstanding sushi, and priced as such. But we waited 40 minutes for our first order to come out. This was not a terribly-busy Tuesday night. Then we ordered another roll and waited at least 30 minutes for that to come out. So our main complaint was how incredibly slow the service was. Our server was not attentive enough to stop by our table and offer us something during those longgggg waiting times for food to arrive."

"Used to love MF and have been going once or twice a year for the last 10 years or so. This last visit felt kind of rushed by the server, appetizer came after the main order, ordered sushi for 2 deluxe, received the regular, music was louder than it used to be, wasn't asked if we want to see a dessert menu...just kind of get 'em in and get 'em out attitude all around. Not quite what it used to be even just a few years ago."

"I had a party of 5 scheduled at 8:00 on a Friday night, which can be challenging in Atlanta. We arrived on time and were promptly seated at our table. Jennifer, the server, was excellent and thorough. The baked scallop appetizer is amazing (be sure and save the leftover sauce to dip your sushi in). As always, all of the sushi was fresh and tender, and the flavors were great. This restaurant is consistently outstanding, and I recommend it over and over to friends and colleagues."
