October 2011 Snappers Seafood was voted the "Best Seafood Restaurant in Boynton Beach", Sun Sentinel Forum.
We're centrally located in Palm Beach County near the Boynton Beach Mall ~ just minutes from West Palm Beach & Boca Raton. Snappers has been serving the Palm Beaches since 1994. Sample the exceptional value of gourmet quality that put Snappers Seafood on the map and kept us thriving for 18 years! Our house specialties include Boathouse Salmon, Cedar Planked Halibut, Danish Lobster Tails & Golden Shrimp & Scallops.
In 2011 Snappers garnered the "Restaurants for Wine Lovers" award by the Wine Spectator Magazine. The list is the product of John & Jamin Stilley, Father-Daughter team of sommeliers. Check-out our Fabulous wine list and Free corkage on Monday nights.
We recently re-decorated with dark woods and shades of blues and greens. We added cushy new bar stools and comfortable leather chairs in the dining room. Lots of round tables for parties of 6 to 12 guests.

"Had Father's Day dinner there. The food was excellent. Our server was terrific and had a great sense of humor. She helped to make this special meal even more special! I had the macadamia nut crusted snapper and it was excellent. I was told both on the menu and by the waitress that it was "fried." I ordered it anyway and found it to be very good. Crisp but not tasting "fried." My dad, who is not easy to please, had the fresh halibut served on a board, and he said it was very, very good. Another diner had the trout and said it was very good and the fourth person in our party had broiled scallops, which he said were very good. All in all, it was an excellent dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant for fish lovers."

"I've been here many times over the years. The food continues to be very good and moderately priced. The service has been excellent most of the time. To avoid waiting on weekends, make a reservation through Open Table for before 6:30."

"Whenever we dine at Snappers we have a wonderful experience. I have never had a bad meal there. The food is always fresh and delicious. If you have dietary issues they aim to please. They have a wonderful selection of entrees. Their entire staff is always friendly. The waiters really listen to you.. You are never rushed...but we know not to overstay our welcome. We have brought many friends there and they have all become patrons. The fact that you can make reservations for a party of 4 is a big plus!! (I think they make it for 2, never went without friends)"

"I had the halibut on a plank and it was outstanding. My wife had the stuffed shrimp and they were even better. Had some problems with the veggies that went unresolved, but the french fries that my wife ordered were very good. Snappers is a very large restaurant but is always crowded. Reservations are a must on weekends. I was both surprised and delighted to see that Snappers has a large vegan menu."

"Alex was a fabulous waiter. I ordered blackened scallops over mushrooms.
Out came four mini=scallops over mushrooms. I could hardly find the scallops they
were so small. Waiter came over and said' how can I make you happy".

"We were first time dinners at Snappers. I had the Pistachio crusted salmon which was the best I've ever had. Moist and flavorful. The side dishes were excellent too. We had blue point oysters as an appetizers and they were large fresh and very delicious and at $1.25 a piece really inexpensive compared to other restaurants. One person in our group complained about the lobster tails and the waitress was friendly and handled the problem properly. I also heard a complaint about the lobster tails from another table. The place is very popular so very crowded and hectic. Don't expect a fine refined dinner. More like a big but nice diner with good fish."

"While eating our salads the food came to table. We felt rushed and pressured to take it. Before ordering we asked our server about the particular fish dish we were interested in and were told the preparation. We ordered but when it arrived there was an extreme amount of tarter sauce on top which we were not told. We ate our meals but did mention this to the server who said he would pass it along to the kitchen."

"Our fish is consistently cooked perfectly nice portions and delicious. We went on Friday night after not have been there in about 6 months and it was so good we wend back on Saturday night- The crab cake is the best I have ever had ! barely a crumb of breading in it and the tuna appetizer was just right sized chunks with the avacado and served on a bed of very fresh seaweed. Also noteworthy was the key lime pie - just enough bits of grated key lime in the pie to give it a little zip."

"The service was adequate as was the food. Nothing to write home about. We went there to take my mom out for lunch on her birthday. It was mid-day on a Saturday and the place wasn't very busy. I could imagine it being fairly noisy if it were to get full but in the afternoon it was very quiet. "Snappers was recommended by our Hotel. We were unsure when we showers up, not being familiar with the age make up of the area. But the service and quality of the food won us over. Being from Chicago, I needed to adjust my expectations and this family run is perfect for the local. Or server Candice was outstanding. Her recommendations were spot on and she made the difference in my experience. Though we were surprised how quickly other diners finished after 9 pm when it was packed at 8. Reservation a must if you want to dine early. Over all a very good restaurant I would go back to again."

"I had reservations at 5:30 PM. I was seated promptly. The food was good not great. We ordered Clam Chowder and was told it was not ready but would be in a few minutes. We waitited and in a few minuts the Clam Chowder was served. It was not thick and not hot. We also ordered King Crab Legs which were good, however one guest ordered the Mahi on the menu but it was not available. We also ordered a take out dinner and when the waiter brought the menu back he also mentioned he forgot about the specials before and showed us the specials for the night. We would have ordered the swordfish on the special menu in place of the mahi if we had known ot was available, howebver we did ordred the Snapper Franchese to go and it was very good."

"over priced selections - this place is not what it use to be. Two dishes came out well done, server mentioned it as he was placing on the table and mentioned that if it was too well done he would bring out a replacement dish. Replacement dish's came out, well done as well. Food portions were smaller then most other establishments. If you do decide to go there, I highly recommend making a reservation. All and all, there are MUCH MUCH better seafood places around. We wont be back!"
