"Ambience was good, seats a bit low. The food was well prepared. We chose the fish, red snapper snapper and scallops followed by a shared cheese plate. Would recommend it."

"This is the 3rd year I've brought my dad there for his birthday. The first year, Gustavo gushed all over my dad. Everyone did including the hostess at the beginning. The coconut cake was an over the top treat for him. He would bring it home and share it with his friends. Last year, the service was a bit less. This year, Charles was knowledgeable of the menu, but seemed very put off that we were in the wine room. I would have put service lower, but there was a white haired gentlemen who was completely enthusiastic about everything. This is also the first year we were charged for the cake, and he didn't have any to share with his friends. I was sadly disappointed this year."

"I worked for the Fairmont 26 years ago in the Sales Department. The hotel and restaurant have taken a turn on the update. Beautiful. Enjoyed every minute of our stay and dinner there. Made some great memories!"

"We visited on a Sunday evening after a day in the Arts District and had a very nice dinner, the ribeye and scallops were both very good. We also enjoyed the hot fresh bread."

"The lights are too bright, when people are trying to wake up, as opposed to the romantic. The menu looked good, but very pricey. The appetizers turned out to be a good value. They were served in good portions and were plenty for sharing by 2 people. However, they missed on taste. The wine list is overpriced (Texas wine, $70?).The service was great, after the initial “attitude” about where we should eat and the bill with taxes and gratuity came to about $140.With the decor, attitude, price and quality of the food,I’d suggest finding other alternatives in downtown Dallas"

"The service was horrible. We never got our appetizer. We had a reservation at 8 and didn't get seated until 8:30. The food wasn't even worth it. My dish came out lukewarm. The sommelier and wine service is great but not enough to come back."
