"We really enjoyed the food but the server was a bit lacking. She didn't check back often enough and sometimes we were lacking when we needed something. We tried to catch her a few times when we needed something and she was not paying attention to what was going on around her and would just go on by our table. Also, she would bring out our order of food and leave it then not return until we had finished it or nearly finished to ask if we wanted to order more instead of taking the next order when she delivered what was arriving. This left as with an empty table often. Not a good way to enjoy tapas. She was polite and friendly but maybe she just needed to be trained better."

"It was a great place. However, there was a sign that says free valet parking for customers. So I waited for about 5 minutes and no valet showed up. Finally after parking my car and went inside the restaurant I saw the valet attendant hiding behind the restaurant front door."

"This was our second visit to Sasa. On our first visit we noted the fact that besides wonderful sushi and sashimi dishes the restaurant has other choice offerings that easily satisfy the food needs of a carnivore. Their beer selection is excellent, and overall this restaurant provides a wonderful dining experience. Since the unfortunate demise of Sushi On The Square (one of our favorite restaurants), the Shaker Square area has needed a high quality Japanese restaurant to compliment the other fine eateries in the neighborhood. Sasa exceeded expectations and is a place we will visit regularly. Food is served when it is done and ready to be eaten, and the various size plates provide a style of eating that is easy to adjust to."

"Sasa is a wonderful spot if you want to break out of conventional restaurant choices, if you want to share a number of quite varied Asian menu items with one person or several more than that, if you like Shaker Square or want to visit it, or if you want to enjoy a succession of exotic dishes in a homey, welcoming atmosphere. Although we aren't especially adventurous, we look forward to returning and trying more unfamiliar items. On our initial visit, in a group of four, we liked every selection we made."
