"The food was outstanding. What I liked most about my dining experience is the relaxed atmosphere, at no time did I feel rushed. We enjoyed the brunch over a two hour period and felt welcome."

"The restaurant was average. Our server ( I think her name was Sheila) was extremely nice. It was our first time there - for Father's Day. There was nothing special about it. Food was just ok. We started with the fried calamari which was ok. It came with basil mayo which was good and also marianara which tasted like it came straight from a jar. I had the salmon which was very fishy. It came with mashed potatoes which were lumpy and tasted like they contained blue cheese which the menu didn't list. Somebody had the chicken and said it was good. Somebody had a burger and said it was good. Another had a salad which was served in an odd shaped bowl which made it difficult to eat. Overall, it was expensive and not worth it. Sorry!"

"arrived early to have a drink at the bar but hostess pushed us to table. For prices on the higher side, portions were on small side and taste could have been better. My bar beverage was incorrect and then was served the wrong entree."

"This was our first visit to McLoone's Asbury Grill (or any McLoone's for that matter) and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we entered and were greeted at the door everything was wonderful. The staff were polite, professional and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the ambience was delightful. We even made new friends with the couple seated next to us. In these challenging times a nice dinner out is a luxury we don't get as often as we used to. Our evening at McLoone's was well worth the wait!"

"Myself, my fiancé, and a member of my wedding party went here on a Saturday night, looking to decide if we'd like to use the Supper Club upstairs as our wedding venue (they share a menu). Service started out great, but bar service was slow as night went on and the place got busier. Starters and drinks were superb, mixed reviews on the entrees (skip the steak but the flounder roulade was excellent), and dessert wasn't anything special, but overall we had a good time and were probably being a little more critical than usual. To sum, decent meal and we will be having our wedding at this location."

"It was just okay. Very limited menu with no specials. When my daughter ordered a burger, fries should be included and should not be ala carte. With the food mediocre, prices were a little on the high side especailly with no salad included in the dinner. Not impressed, will not rush back..."

"This was our worst experience in the several times we've been there, all because of our server, Brittany. Even though she was in training, she was still terrible. Other than taking our order, we never saw her again. We asked for menus 3 times, having been given one for a party of four. We ultimately got one more, but that was it. Ordering was a chore. She never returned to the table, though we often saw her standing near the host stand, looking into the restaurant. She never asked if we needed anything, wanted coffee or dessert; nothing! One of our party had to go and ask her for our check, which took her another 10 or 15 minutes to bring. All in all, the good to OK meal was ruined by someone who had no common sense."

"food quality was not as good as in the recent past. Also it was way overbooked and the extreme overcrowding was very uncomfortable due to extra tables added to accommodate heavy band attendance. Discouraging for patrons that want to continue to attend."

"Great spot right on the beach. Wonderful views and though there was no outside in March when we went, it looks like there will be when summer rolls around, and it looks like it would be a wonderful place to eat! Very romantic, most tables were set for 2 although there were bigger tables for groups. The service was phenomenal and the staff was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious and prices were right, especially for happy hour! I will definitely go back and recommend."

"Went to McLoone's Asbury Grille Saturday before seeing Southside Johnny at the Stone Pony. Walked out of a cold driving rain into a glowing fireplace, warm reception and great server. The atmosphere was perfect for the night. Seated to see the fireplace and the ocean makes this a fun spot in winter and much easier to get into then the summer. They did a great job recovering and being back up after Sandy."

"My family and I had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday. My two teenage daughters were very impressed as were my husband and I, with the atmosphere, service and above all the food. Our server Eddie was very helpful with "Specials" and suggesting a wine to compliment our choices. Our table by the fireplace on a cold and windy night was perfect as was the wonderful piano playing.....didn't get his name. All in all a great night."

"My husband and I ate here for Valentine's Day. We were sat near the fireplace and the piano at a table for 2. We ordered from the special Valentine's Day menu, and we both enjoyed our food. My husband had the surf and turf, and he's still talking about it! It was a little loud sitting next to the piano, but we enjoyed the live music and felt that it was a really romantic and special night."
