"Planned to use this restaurant for a top client meeting as one of the guests was staying at a hotel across the street, so chose for convenience. First impression, it was quite empty for a 6:30 reservation, the service ( for a empty restaurant) was extremely slow. The food was less than average, soggy vegetables, overcooked fish, and not even a question from the server as to how our meals were. I certainly would not recommend this location to any of my friends....."

"From the time you walk in to where you sit down, the way everything is set up is nice. My girlfriend and I sat down, the waitress took our order of drinks, and showed up about ten minutes later. About twenty minutes later she came by again to ask us what we wanted to order.
As an appetizer, the fried calamari was amazing. I ordered the 10oz tenderloin and we had the salmon. The main meal took about 45 minutes before we got it. It was very good food, but the service just took way too long. I believe there were only two waitresses serving about 20-30 people, so that may be why it was slow.
Overall - Food was good, service was very slow."

"We both had the steak with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Veggies weren't super exciting but it's hard to expect amazing "seasonal" vegetables in Edmonton in May. Steak was delicious and the potatoes were to die for. Also love the idea of the wine flights - we each had a different flight so we got to taste six different wines."

"Went with a group to celebrate a coworkers birthday. The place was energetic even during the lunch rush. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met and arranged for an awesome birthday plate with a personal touch! The food was just as wonderful!"

"The atmosphere was great. Our waitress was excellent she was polite and had great timing. I was disappointed in the food it was nothing outstanding, my steak was medium rare and it was hard to cut even with the very large steak knife, the fries were ok. The other dinner was chicken which was done perfectly and it came with 1 pea, 1 carrot and a piece of bok choy as the seasonal vegetables along with the gnocchi. I would have complained about the steak but we were on the way to the theatre and were short on time.
This restaurant came highly recommended and I was disappointed."

"100B&K is usually fabulous. The service as always was top notch. Food quality was poor. You shouldn't have to send a steak back and it still not come back medium. A little dissappointing. The Manager Robin was super nice about it. Compd my meal and a couple of drinks. Will go back, chalking it up to one of those nights for the kitchen."

"The food was great and service was awesome. First time I have been there. Work near here but office tried a few times to go there a couple years ago and the food was not good. I talked them into trying it again and it was wonderful!
Loved it and of course help that we eat out Wed :-)"

"I was a bit disappointed in this. When I made the reservations I indicated my 3 food allergies. The waitress was good about listening and checking the items on the menu before I ordered. However, when I received my food the kitchen had added croutons and oat flakes to my salad - I have gluten, dairy and egg allergies. When I asked whether the croutons were gluten free she said no and had another salad made for me. This of course interfered with my dining companion who already had their meal. I feel they could have replaced hers as well so she didn't have cold food by the time mine got back. Also there was no acknowledgement of the mistake in terms of a manager apologizing or anything."

"We came in for the Downtown Dining Week dinner menu on Saturday- a 3-course $50 menu (which was excellent), but we also tried some of the bacon dishes that Chef Andrew Cowan created that day and was sharing photos of on instagram. From appetizer to dessert our meals were delectable. I can always find something interesting to try on the main menu, but I am happy to see 100 participating in DTDW; letting Chef Cowan get creative with a set menu makes my taste buds happy."

"We were fortunate that we had made reservations for Ladies Night and because there was 3 of us we got %50 off of our bill. Wow, what an awesome meal for such a reasonable price. It was my second time there but the first time for my two friends and I am positive they will be back."

"My 2 girlfriends and I went for lunch. I've been before and loved it at 100, this time was a bit disappointing. I would not order the rocket salad again- it was mostly boring greens with some very bland steak and what tasted like canned peaches. It needed more of something. And to sit for more than 30 minutes on a backless stool made the experience very uncomfortable. On a good note, our server was excellent, another one brought me a stool with a back when asked and my friends enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap. Beautiful atmosphere and on the right track, I just didn't luck out this time with my meal or table. . I'd go back but would order something else and would specifically reserve a better place to sit. ."

"Very friendly service BUT a burger and salad took over 30 minutes to arrive. The fries were very salty. The salad sounded great on the menu and the flank steak beside the salad was beautifully done but the salad itself was just a huge pile of one variety of greens,although nicely dressed, with a scattering of cheese and nuts to relieve the boredom. The grilled peaches on top were woody, as most peaches are at this time of year so it seemed a poor choice by the chef. The prices were too high for what we got, so I regret to say that we will not be back."

"Everything was really pretty good. I expected ambiance to be better and food to be not as good. The only thing I can really say is that the table layout is pretty ridiculous. We were a 2, and they sat us literally in the middle. There were big tables flanking us, and although there was 4 deuces in a row, we were the only ones. My husband had dropped me off, and when he came to join me, he laughed. We shared a giggle about how silly it was. I just don't think the employees would even want to sit where we did."

"Food was delicious however the service could have been better we waited twenty minutes from the time we requested the bill until we actually received it. Also the bill was wrong and if the server had done it correctly she would have received more of a tip...as we had a gift card and didn't want to have to wait longer for the correction."

"Food was very good . It was Valentine's Day and the Hostess sat my husband and I in the lounge with televisions and noise. We asked to be moved and she placed us in the restaurant in an area that still had two large televisions on either side of our table. There were tables available in the section of the restaurant without TV's. We did reserve early and there was time for us to enjoy our meal without the distractions, so I am not sure why she did not seat us in the available section where it was quieter.
I knew the restaurant was not a really romantic spot before making the reservation, however the food was great and we learned a lesson about booking for a special occasion earlier next time!!!!"

"I love the 100 bar and kitchen. The food and service is consistently fantastic and I eat at this restaurant often. I have go anywhere from 3 -6 times a month (usually work related) with small and large parties have recommended your restaraunts to the large company I work for (TELUS)."
