Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
ART Restaurant and Lounge
Inspired by the Hotel's collection of works by the Northwest's foremost contemporary artists, its proximity to Seattle Art Museum and our chef's creative flair, ART Restaurant and Lounge celebrates authentic Pacific Northwest cuisine with unique global influences.
With a setting as thoughtfully designed as a work of art, the restaurant's interior is a highly detailed sculpture featuring woods native to the Pacific Northwest. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.
Acclaimed local chef Kerry Sear returns to Four Seasons with his best-source approach, which incorporates fresh, locally produced ingredients into menus designed for a signature dining experience. Sear works with local organic growers, foragers and independent specialists to introduce an unexpected twist to Northwest fare.
"My friend and I chose The Art as our dinner destination before going to hear the Seattle Symphony. I loved everything about this place. We had parked at Benaroya Hall and walked down. The waitress, Melissa, was excellent. Our menu selections were perfect. I could not have been more pleased w/the experience.
I will definitely return."

Review 2 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"This was a birthday dinner for our son. He had the ginormous Ultimate Art Burger covered and filled with everything. It was a hit. A few of us had the Alaskan black cod. It was excellent as well. Appetizers ranged from the Golden Beet Salad and Dungeness Crab Cakes; all hit the spot. Finish with The Mirror for dessert! No one was disappointed. There is validated valet parking in this difficult to park area downtown."

Review 13 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Art is that rare thing - a good restaurant with a distinctly modern personality in a big (5 star) chain hotel.
The service is great, the food is Seattle local, and there's a lovely playful but practical approach to presentation details. For a big room, backed by the Four Seasons funding, it feels like its owner operated, which for me is a good thing."

Review 14 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"We came for the last night of Dine Around Seattle but the food was underwhelming. Service was good but slow. Was a 6 month anniversary dinner so I called ahead with my credit card number but the server wasn't told and he brought the check to the table and I didn't want that. Disappointing, especially for the Four Seasons."

Review 17 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Two friends and I meet at ART once a month or so for lunch. The food at ART is more variable than it seems like it should be at a restaurant of this caliber. Sometimes the food seems perfect - sometimes it is too salty or too bland. On this trip, it was a $15 set lunch and the options were not very interesting. I had the turbot entree, and while the turbot was cooked perfectly, everything on the plate was absolutely bland. The spinach salad starter was more flavorful."

Review 19 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Our food was beautifully presented, and service is remarkable. The fish served on risotto and pea vines was fresh and delicious, and the flourless chocolate cake was amazing! It's a great atmosphere, with interesting, excellent art gracing the walls, and beautiful decor. A lovely place to have our lunch before crossing the street to see the latest museum exhibit."

"We went for the DinearoundSeattle special, and I had their spicy ravioli again. It was very good, as was the crudite salad and the wonderful huckleberry trifle for dessert. Service was very attentive, and the ambiance is very subdued and elegant."

"Although we had a brunch reservation, staff seemed a bit confused about it. Server was attentive, but had an awkward affect. Food was acceptablee, but not memorable. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I probably would not return with other nearby options available. ."

Review 30 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"The ambience is lovely, and the service couldn't be more on top of things, and friendly. Our meals were excellent, if just a bit spare. The room is very handsomely appointed, and the view, industrial but interesting. This downtown location is perfect for a visit to SAM or the Public Market, or some of the great shops nearby. I will return, for sure."

Review 32 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"The restaurant speaks of a casual elegance, with refined wine selections and good collection of spirits as well. We tried two dishes, and were satisfied with both portion and the excellent tastes we discovered. The view is superb across the Pike Place market area and sound, although two few seats have unobstructed views. We will definitely return to sample additional flavors and enjoy the atmosphere."

Review 34 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Focus on locally sourced foods for all menu items. Chef lists his purveyors on the back of the menu. Went for early dinner before symphony concert; timing, location and even parking worked out wonderfully. Both selected fish; black cod and Arctic char. Portions just right and nice selection of sides. Since I travel and eat out 250+ nights a year, Not a "blow me away" dining experience but one still recommend especially before concert or visit to SAM."

Review 36 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Grandmother and I decided to have an artful lunch experience midweek. The restaurant is lovely, modern and valet parking a must. We were warmly greeted and given a great window seat too. Food selection was good and the food plating was exquisite. Our waiter, however, interrupted us several times during a conversation, so I took off points for that. Not a bargain, but a nice lunch experience in general."

Review 37 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"The atmmosphere and service were lovely. But we attended for DineAroundSeattle, which gave us just three choices each for app, entree, dessert. And frankly. the food was bland and boring. Nothing wrong with it as such, but we expected much better for a fine restaurant. it was just almost tasteless.
We have eaten there before and had much better food. Perhaps other items on the menu were better. But we were terribly disappointed."

Review 39 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"For a Four Seasons establishment, I would have expected the level of service to be significantly higher. In the lounge area, the bartender was MIA for most all of the 30 minutes before our seating for dinner. The drink prices were steep, at $12 for wine spritz that in Venice, Italy, would have cost three euros. And alot more ice than what would be customary. And the open bar cheese plate at $14 wasn't exactly a bargain. Once seated for dinner, the service level went up dramatically. However, the actual dinner was just okay. Dessert was good. Overall, I'd recommend you go somewhere else. It definitely wasn't worth it for the price."

Review 42 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Breakfast menu was somewhat "odd" They didn't have the traditional breakfast items one is accustomed to. Poor service...ordered 4 omelets and only 3 of the 4 were correct. No apology was given by the server (which was what we were looking for). He deducted the coffee and orange juice from the bill and left it at that. When I mentioned this to the hostess she was apologetic and asked for my business card so the manager could call me. Haven't received a call yet and it's been 4 days."

Review 44 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"Everyone has an off night from time to time. Unfortunately, both the chef and our server had off-nights this trip to ART. We have eaten at ART many times and the food are service are both usually very good. This time, the server rushed us through our dinner, sure we were headed to the theatre, despite us telling him twice that we were not and wanted to linger over our dinner and wine.
The food was fussy - foamed this, micro-shredded that - and the flavors just never came together.
We wanted a lovely evening out, but went home disappointed."

Review 45 for Art Restaurant & Lounge at the Four Seasons Seattle
"The wife and I caught the sunset and the view of the Puget Sound and Olympics was magnificent. The only detractor is the large Self Storage building sign below the direct line of sight, but it was easily overlooked. Because I have never had a $29 Burger I went for it, the Ultimate Burger. It exceeded my expectations with the fatty ground steak cooked to the temperature I asked for, cheese in the middle, fried egg on top, piles of crab, pastrami, bacon, homemade pickles, etc. to pile on top as desired. They were on top of their service game until dessert. They forgot to bring my sorbet and my wife's coffee but quickly rectified it. All in all it was a nice experience."
