We want our diners to feel at-home in our relaxed and innovative
space in the heart of Atlanta’s bustling West Midtown.
Our design is a literal translation of our passion for sustainable
foods. Keeping with our commitment to simplicity, our restaurant’s
design reflects our love of all things natural. The restaurant
utilizes organic, reused materials recreated in inventive and
distinctive ways.
The unique elements merge to create a truly organic,
comfortable aura from the lofted ceiling to the inviting banquettes.
The spacious patio is perfect for al fresco dining or an after-work
cocktail, and our private dining room can accommodate everything
from formal functions to small get-togethers.
Please note we currently do not acccept reservations for lunch.

"Food was quite good but we had a table of 9 and our server was often not available for a table who was spending rather freely on food and wine. we had to flag down other servers multiple times to order drinks, etc. which made the evening quite frustrating"

"Don't let the limited menu scare you. My husband and I wouldn't call ourselves foodies by any means, but we really LOVED every single thing we had. Drinks were fun and unique (and there are always additional seasonal options not on the online menu), all the small plates are awesome but definitely not big enough for a meal. The burger is out-of-control good, and the herb fries are awesome. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu."

"The bar at Bocado is outstanding, especially their cocktails. Their regularly changing list is superb but the bartenders David and Tyler can make anything you want. Equally good is Bocado's starter/small plate selection, with are truly creative and deeply flavored, and based on the highest quality ingredients. The list of entrees is short but hits the needed categories (seafood, chicken, beef, etc.) and each entree is nicely conceived, delicious and well proportioned. Offering specials would be nice though."

"An overall bad experience! From a grouchy hostess to pathetic service. What happened to Bocado? The menu is awful and has been since Bocado lost its chef. First courses offer basically grains -- no protein choices. We observed the overwhelming majority of dishes coming from the kitchen was the $12 hamburger. Has Bocado become an upscale McDonalds? As for service, management seems to have forgotten to train its staff. Main dishes were brought out almost immediately and served while we were still eating appetizers (we had to send them back); plates were cleared before we were finished. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but the last 2 times have been so poor we will not be back. Where is Brian Lewis? He is never there anymore."

"Had a wonderful evening at Bocado. I wanted to provide my dining companion a wow experience and this funky bistro was the ticket. Bocado's menu is just the right mix of options to satisfy even the most discriminating and they offer an extensive wine and drink list. "Best burger I have ever had. It comes one way, and that is really all you need. Everything else on the menu looks great, but I cannot skip the Bocado Burger Stack when I go. The cocktails are a little pricey for the size, but you know you're getting something special after the first sip. Be sure to get reservations on Friday and Saturday night!"

"Bocado is missing Brian and Todd. Brian kept the front of house moving smoothly. Todd had a wonderful light touch in the kitchen. Now service is slow, inattentive and unenthusiastic. Even the fabled LobstercRolls have suffered. Before each piece of lobster as lightly dressed and felt almost placed in the roll. Now it feels like they used an ice cream scoop to dredge it out of a bucket. The hamburger continues to be outstanding and an exceptional value. The noise level is astounding. Not energetic but painful. The chairs need plastic feet to end the screeching and some amount of noise muffling needs to be brought in to soften the room to allow for easier conversation. It's still good but it has slipped."

"A special pork chop burger was not all I expected. Needed more flavor--- sauce or toppings or something. The modest amount of sauce and slaw on it were not really enough to make an interesting entree.
The bread, shrimp and grits and beet salad was very good.

"I loved the decor/set-up and the overall feel of the place. The fact that it's on the smaller side helps makes it feel more intimate. Based on other outside reviews, we tried the stacked burger and it did not disappoint. We definitely will rank it as one of the top burgers we've eaten to date. They have a decent selection of beers/wines to try out. Service was good and we did not have to wait for a table when we visited. A recommended place to visit if you are in the Midtown Atlanta area."

"The food was very good, especially the burger that I've heard many rave about! Def worth it. However, the service was poor. I don't think that's on the whole, but the girl we had was not very friendly. And sometimes, service can make and break an entire experience. Mine would have been much better if our waitress was friendlier. She noticeably rolled her eyes every time she walked up to or away from my table. I don't care what was going on with her, that was disrespectful."

"For starters had the seasonal cheese, the pairings are amazing!! Dinner, had the burger! For some reason, the burger was even better than the times before. Very pleased with the service, quality and taste of our dinner. For a Tuesday night, the restaurant was crowded, burgers and beer night."

"Food was very good. Brought own wine, $15 corkage fee, limit two bottles per table. Had a party of four so that was just right. The salads were a big hit with everyone. New red rice salad was outstanding. Lobster roll was good but would not order again. Hamburger and French fries were delicious. The only thing that did not meet the general overall outstanding quality was desert. Fine but not outstanding. Our server and the service were terrific. Very loud but it was a place made to be loud. The hip crowd started coming in as we were leaving (yes we are old) around 9:30. The reasonable prices and good food will likely keep Bocado a destination place in this vibrant and growing area. Would go back without hesitation. A really fun meal."

"tasty. noisy. glossy. went with friends for dinner, admittedly at 9pm. Food rocked.. can't think of anything that wasn't satisfying ( and then some. ) Noise was ever present.. but again.. it was a later shift. Restaurant had some type of magazine appeal.. like the place to be for young professionals on the westside only everyone was twice our age and 3X as excited about visiting the bar. Seems like a fun place. Would definitely consider going back. Some good whiskeys too.. doesn't really compete with Longman & Eagle but when in Rome.."

"My second trip in as many weeks! This time, I got there early and FINALLY got the lobster roll!! Let me just say it was well worth the wait! I had a GREAT time, although....the drinks are a little pricey for the amount of liquor you get. But I won't sweat that...had a table outside, it was VERY nice.."

"I finally had THE burger, y'all. ...and it lived up to every review and expectation I had for it! It's basically crafted with two thin beef patties, american cheese, pickle, and mayo, on a soft sesame seed bun. Sounds pretty simple, but then you take a bite, and the flavor just erupts in your mouth! Best burger I've ever had. Seriously, go get it. You won't be disappointed!"

"The food was great! However, this was an unusual dining experience because a bird got into the restaurant and was hanging on the fixtures on the ceiling and was creating a stir of dust. The owner and the waitress could not get him out. The waitress opened the door which created coldness inside. So it was difficult to have a good dining experience because of the bird."

"This was my first visit to Bocado's! The ambiance was fabulous, had a great time. My only disappointment was, and it's nobody's fault but mine, was that I had the lobster roll on my brain, but my reservations weren't until 9. I knew they'd all be gone by then, but I did my homework, next choice was the burger stack....FANTASTIC!! I'll just have to come back another time and get that lobster roll!"
