"We went for Mother's Day brunch and from the way we were greeted to the waiter to the manager who stopped by to check on us everyone was so thoughtful and concerned. They obviously train their staff to make everyone feel special.Love this place and highly recommend."

"We have attended this restaurant twice. My usual requirement to see how a business is run is to visit it at least two times and watch for deviations in food, service and friendly personnel. This visit was great! We had a great time and the food is wonderful. One of the reasons I like your place is the lack of ' rush'. We did not feel any pressure to get our meal finished and leave so that more turns on the table could happen. Both times we were treated with courtesy, friendly servers and congenial management. With all of this, during both visits, we were out of the restaurant in one hour and a half!

"We loved the food. We ate on the patio near the roaring fireplace. Our waiter, Sean, gave us very special service. The wine, salads, steak, and scallops were delicious. If we lived here, we'd be back very often."

"The food was absolutely amazing! The tuna was cooked perfectly and my husband's scallops were melt in your mouth. We were on the early side ... 6:30PM. The music coming from the bar area was not too loud and you could have a nice conversationn without raising your voice."

"While the waiter was a tad too cheery, the boys loved their steaks and sides (requisite Mac and cheese and sautéed mushrooms) as did my friend with her shrimp pasta. The tuna tartare was unfortunately underwhelming-don't think crushed tortilla chips are the appropriate addition to the stack (with an avocado salsa on the bottom). The 10-layer carrot cake was a little too sweet and lacking the nuts one usually finds in carrot cake (to cut the sweetness and add nice crunch). The group playing in the bar area is piped into the dining room sound system, a nice musical addition. Odd to see waiters dressed in white jackets. Good steakhouse option if you're in the desert ridge area."

"The ambience and food here was superb.

Service was sloppy. We needed to request our orders be taken.

"Another great experience at Ocena Prime!! We returned for dinner a year after we went there to celebrate our engagement and they completely blew us away with the service and attention to detail. They brought over a bottle of champagne for us and also gave us a complimentary dessert (went with that peanut butter chocolate mousse). They sat us as the same table as last year and had a nice card for us with rose petals on the table. We even had the same waiter (Sean) and he remembered us…..they did a great job. Food was fantastic as always but the customer service and attention to detail was really amazing. Thank you for making our dinner so special!"

"used to have good fish, great place for family dinner. This time...all three entrees were marginal...you would expect to get excellent Halibut, sea bass and swordfish...all three were tasteless! The lobster bisque was returned! Salads great. The deserts were huge, but awful. The "special" birthday cake for the 13year old came on a plate with "happy anniversary" on it! We had to ask for deserts as the waiter came up with the bill in hand. Music was much too loud. With wine and drinks...and tip...$650, ouch/ Good Bye Ocean Prime."

"Well we gave it a second chance after receiving gift certificates, but it did not improve. The food is average and just doesn't come across fresh andgourmet as the prices reflect. The tuna was as main course was Luke warm and boring. Great server and great ambiance aside from the wine vendor at the next table doing wine tasting for some of the employees.

"Needed some fish for a Friday a Lent, so we tried Ocean Prime. Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. My blackened swordfish was delicious, and my wife's scallop were great. Desert (sorbet) was disappointing. Only flavors available were apple and lemon. They were both very tart; left the bowl almost full. I guess our desert was just another thing to give up during Lent."

Lesley was our server and was wonderful.
Crab cakes were a lot of crab and little filling which is not the case at many restaurants.
Ordered Surf and Turf and it was fantastic."

"Having dined at Ocean Prime before, our celebration was even better than the last time visited. Service could not have been better(thank you Tom and partners), food was to die for (my love had salamon and I had osso bucco) and we loved the outdoors dinng site. A perfect evening for us both. "We wanted to give Ocean Prime a chance and ate there for or anniversary. The experience wasn't bad and but wasn't real good. Main waiter was very good but busboys didn't fill water glass until asked. Bar service was very slow. Food was good but for the price overall experience didn't compare to its comperable competitors. For our anniversary next year we will go somewhere else."

"The space is beautiful, very chic, the bar beautifully set and lit. The service is a little cliche, with overly familiar waitstaff. The food is good, but not uniquely prepared or outstanding in any way. Overpriced. Really, not unlike many other restaurants that are new or new-ish and trying to make a name for themselves. Main complaint was that it was a cold evening, but they kept the sliders open (I think for the convenience of the waitstaff), making it freezing cold inside. They promised to close the doors (they didn't) and to turn down the a/c (they didn't). We were celebrating a family birthday, and it took away from an otherwise special night."

"Restaurants at this level/price point should be held to a higher standard in my opinion. With this in mind, it was a very average upscale dining experience. The room was freezing due to the doors to the outdoor patio being opened and the menu was different than the menu they presented online. While the food and service were certainly not bad, there was absolutely nothing remarkable about it either. Very average. We had tuna tartar, the seared tuna entree, and a filet."

"Great ambiance. Very high prices for food and beverages. Entrees were excellent. We had the Chilean Sea Bass and Blackened Swordfish--Both were extraordinary in flavor and texture. The bread brought to the table was quite good also. Disappointed with wine list. Expected better quality, out-of-the-ordinary wines at reasonable cost. Instead, there were only common wines at unusually exorbitant prices."

"My wife and I have had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Prime many times. It is our favorite restaurant. The restaurant atmosphere is charming - my wife and I love sitting in a booth (and equally out on the patio!), everyone is polite, the service is wonderful, and the food is always excellent. "we were very diappointed in our experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere in the dining room is cold with lots of wood including the flooring. As a result, even though the restaurant was only 2/3 full it was extremely noisy, so much so that it was difficult to talk in a pleasant converstational tone. My wife and I both had onion soup. The broth was delicious but was buried under a huge piece of bread and a load of melted cheese. We both pushed aside the bread and ate a small portion of the cheese with the broth. Hardly an appetizing presentation. My wife had a crab cake appetizer that was just ok --not much flavor. The price of the dinner entrees was very high. Our waitress Elizabeth was delightful!"

"The food was outstanding for the most part. It is VERY expensive. The onion soup was bad though...boring and dull. The tuna tartar was outstanding as well as the goat cheese ravioli. The service was disappointing. The ambience was a huge disappointment and it's very loud so even though the food was wonderful, I would not go back."
