"We have been to Michael's several times. We decided to take 7 of our friends there on Friday night since they have not been. Overall, we were surprised by the waiter who seemed very upset with us, not sure why? Food was excellent as always. We will return, but was rather embarrassed we brought our friends to a fine-dining restaurant only to be served by a less than happy waiter."

"Off season is a hard time to find anything worth writing about in the area. We were here a year and 1/2 ago and it was much better. I will try it again, but never again off season. For the money, the food was OK. Salad was "tired" on the greens and then what wasn’t green was chunky head lettuce. Mashed potatoes had OK flavor, but obviously scooped out of a steamer. Baked was extra $$. What? Meat quality was good, but swimming in too much au jus. Prices high for this. The final straw was our waiter. Nothing professional about this guy at all. If I was paying $15 at a BBQ joint, that would be fine. But if I'm paying $40 for a steak, I want someone who has waited a table before."
