"My 19-year old daughter was heading to France for 6 weeks and wanted to eat Indian food before she left. We had a lovely dining experience at Nirvana. Their lunch buffet was delicious. The back room upstairs was relatively quiet and the skylight provided a nice amount of sunshine. I would definitely go back there and recommend the restaurant to others -- the price was reasonable and the food was very good."

"Restaurant was empty, we still waited literally 20 minutes for water! We had to remind the wait staff of some appetizers we ordered that never came out. The food was just ok at best. Totally 100% disappointing. A ton of Indian restaurants in a 3-4 block stretch where Nirvana is located. Try some other one, this one was not good."

"The food was okay, but the service was inept. Not rude or overtly bad, just without much thought or apparent experience in how to serve food in a restaurant. Plenty of servers for the medium crowd on a Tuesday, but we never had a waiter take our table. Water was hard to get and painful to have refilled. Kitchen a little slow on the production side, but that is easily overcome by some thoughtful and attentive staff. You will not find that here. Naan was good and Lamb Sag had good spinach flavour. Tandoor veg was excellent. Everything else was okay. Very, very mild. Ask for spicy just to up the flavour."

"Wonderful menu. The lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka massala was absolutely delicious, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. Both dishes were so delightful and tasty, my toes curled and I went into my very own food pleasure zone.

"Really delicious food. Samosa was wonderful. Amuse bouche a really nice touch from the chef. Delicious. Chicken korma and lamb vindaloo amazingly good.
