"We just love the Blackfish and will eat there anytime we can! It is a little spendy, but very worth the price! I had the Halibut again because I love it so much and my husband had a steak, which he enjoyed! I am GLUTEN free and they have an entire menu for me, and they are very helpful for any special orders due to allergies!!
We will be back next month for my birthday!!!"

"Our dinner reservation was at 5:15. I wish we had made it for 4:30. While the noise level was perfect when we began, it was quite disruptive by dessert time. SERVICE WAS PERFECT! (Jill)
Appetizer: Crab cakes with various aioli's for all to enjoy.
Drink: Bottle of Tranche. It paired perfectly with seafood.
Main courses: 1. Halibut dinner off Chef's Choice-fish was everything my husband hoped it would be, the sides were "eh, not great" (polenta, mushroom/artichoke/pepper medley) 2. Grilled Salmon with bacon brussel sprouts & broccolini (8 yr. old son) "AMAZING!"
3. NW bounty bowl, The soup was GREAT, sadly the shrimp was overcooked.
Dessert: I'm a chocolate girl that stepped outside of the box. THE SOUFFLE IS AMAZING! The sauce a delight."

"Blackfish serves some of the Northwest's best seafood fare. They offer varieties of salmon cooked any number of ways to your choice with a variety of sauces also of your choosing. They also offer a variety of oysters. Steak is on the menu too. The clam fritters are a gem and is an appetizer not offered at many restaurants. The staff is very attentive and friendly."

"Really enjoy going to the Blackfish - and if we are really lucky we get Jill as our server, she makes our visits even more enjoyable. The only drawback is the noise levels, we know you made some improvements but it still gets very loud so it is hard to talk with the people you are dining with. But overall - we always go to the Blackfish when we are at Tulalip."

"I have eaten several meals at the Blackfish and by far the last meal was the worst. It was so noisy in the room that you had to shout across the table to have a conversation with your partner. This is like eating inside a steel drum with someone banging on it . The wait staff try to overcome the noise level with good service but all you can do is eat and get out. I talked with a manager and his response was that management knew of the problem and expected the public to just live with it. I don't think so ...
It's too bad given that the food is usually pretty good , but the dining experence is terrible ..."

"We love Blackfish!! Highly recommend, but on a busy Saturday night it is super loud, but it is in a casino, so ????....
I have Celiac disease, and they have a 3 page menu just for Gluten Free. The fresh Halibut is amazing and the scalloped potatoes are delicious! To top off the night the souffle was to live for!!!
We also recommend the Lobster Napoleon!!!"

"My waiter would gain way more in tips if he had removed the appetizer plates and seen to our needs with small seafood forks instead of using the dinner fork. Keeping us cleared and neat. "I've been to the Blackfish at Tulalip several times and the food is always wonderful. This time my girlfriend and I both tried the Smoked Salmon with Lemon-Black Pepper Fettuccine - it was fabulous. We jokingly asked if it was possible to get the recipe - and our server came back and said the chef would email it to us. We came home the following day and sure enough, the recipe email had arrived. Talk about 'above and beyond' the call of duty ! We'll keep coming back that's for sure."

"Our waitress was very poor. She ruined our dining experience, which was my birthday meal. She was very unfriendly and rushed us out. She gave us bread with the salad, and we still had more than half our salad when she brought our meals and put them on the edge of the table. Then brought me a piece of cake (birthday compliment) before bringing my companion a dessert menu which she had requested. The caesar salad was okay, but somewhat bland. The rest of the meal tasted good."

"We had a great time at dinner! Our server was exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable. The mussles in the saffron cream were amazing! "Overall our experience was not a good one. Our waiter was clumsy, rude and rushed. The resaurant was super loud making it difficult for my husband and I to have a conversation, and the food was lack luster.
This was sold to me as fine dining and I feel that it would be more appropriate to bill this restaurant as casual dining. The salmon I received was dry, and comparable to salmon I have received at Black Angus. The risotto had so much lemon flavor to it, it was difficult to eat. My husbands potato cakes were not much better than the potaotes you can buy in the freezer section of the Albertsons and make at home.
We were out on our 13th anniverary and I was so disappointed we will not be back."

"We had a fairly early reservation (6:45PM) and as we sat there it got louder and louder as more people arrived. By the end of our dinner it was VERY loud--almost like being in a popular fast food place instead of a nice restaurant. It did not make us want to linger over dessert or coffee--we just wanted out. The food was good. The service was good. Since there are no windows, it was kind of like bing in a cave--which I think contributes to the sound problem."

"This was my second time to dine at Blackfish. The food was good and the service was very good. What was different this time was the noise. People were speaking so loudly that it made dinner very unpleasant. I was sitting 6 tables away from 4 guys and could hear every word of their conversations. This time I ate on a weekend evening, the previous dinner was in middle of the week. Maybe that made a difference. It was a relief to leave and get away from the noise."

"Had a wonderful sockeye salmon meal.... Fab flavour. Find the restaurant too dark and it was quite noisy. Ambience was like that of a diner , yet food was superb. Good service!"

"This is one our most favorite places to dine. We have had nothing but the best dishes served. The Pacific NW Bounty Bowl is my favorite. You just can't go wrong with Blackfish and, just like it was highly recommened to us, I highly recommend this restaurant on a regular basis."

"From the minute we walked in until the minute we left everything was so top notch and utterly fantastic! The food was phenomenal (we had New Yorks, Halibut, and Salmon) Our server Jill was so professional, knowledgable, and and an all around amazing server....Trust me we know since we are in the business too. "Excellent We had the Sockeye Salmon, it was wild not farmed. It was delicious, my wife would've preferred it cooked a little longer. The service was excellent and friendly. Timming was good we had reservation and were seatted right away. We had time to enjoy a glass of wine with flat bread before the entree' arrived but we didn't wait too long. For the atmosphere and dinner we felt the prices were reasonable. We would recommend."
