"Well..I must say. I deserve what I got. I read all the reviews on yelp and came to the conclusion that most people were very unhappy with the service but that the food was good and after looking at the menu, I thought..heck..why not?
Our waitress definitely took the restaurant down a notch. She had no knowledge of the menu. THREE! of our four meals were brought out wrong. Like completely wrong, and at different times.
The food, once we got it, which ended up being at all different times, was okay, but nothing I would need to eat again."

"Some of my favorite items are gone from the menu, like the talapia, and I don't feel that the options for someone gluten intolerant are as good as they once were. I understand that you cannot create a gluten free environment, but more entrees would be welcome, and a special. It's not hard to have options for gluten intolerant diners. My choice this visit, the short ribs, were bland and dry. The dish overall was disappointing."

"The food is great as usual and reasonably priced. They were accommodating to move my booking by 15 mins one hour before. Service is generally good and the waitresses are very polite.
However I found the owner a bit rude this time. I said goodbye to her and she did not bother replying.
One comment though. Do those waitresses have to wear those mini skirts? It is rather gross and somewhat unappetizing, producing the opposite of what the intention probably is."

"One of my fave places to come for dinner when we visit Edmonton. Food, service and ambience is wonderful. We ordered the tomato soup, Mussels, and the Seafood trio and they all were delish! I was very sad that they stopped making the concord cake which I was looking forward to...i hope they can bring this dessert back!"

They have a separate gluten free menu, and I appreciate that having noted that we have one gluten free eater in our group on our Open Table reservation, the table was set with a menu from the start. The salmon entreeis not a light meal, as one would expect. The vegetable puree is flavourful but very heavy. Maybe a different option for lunch would be better."

The raspberry chocolate mousse was lovely too, especially if you like darker chocolate. My boyfriend however, who isn't a picky eater, was disappointed with the Chow Mein he ordered. The shrimp was breaded which was a negative for him and although the serving was large it wasn't as tasty as he had hoped. The service was friendly / pleasant and the atmosphere was good. Overall I enjoyed the evening and would recommend this restaurant, but perhaps ask the staff for recommendations from the menu."

"Dinner was great
Our server was a little on the forgetful side, and not quite to the calibre of other servers I have had there, but perhaps just a bad day or training.
I honestly tend to lump this restaurant in as the same genre as Earls or Moxies... but then I remember it's actually an interesting menu. The prices are so reasonable that I always forget the food is outstanding!!
So very very good!"

"I went with my boyfriend for the fork fest and were very pleased with everything overall! We were quickly seated and the food was great! Although whoever brought our food out gave my dish to my boyfriend and gave my boyfriend my dish, not a big deal as I was going to try his anyways! The waiter was really nice in asking us if we wanted to wait a bit before dessert, very thoughtful!"

"The food at Lazia was decent enough but the service left a bit to be desired. We got our soup course before our cocktails and then didn't get our wine until we were on our last bites of our entree. The dining experience felt a bit disjointed. Perhaps they were understaffed that evening. It might be an ok spot for drinks or snacks but I won't have dinner there again."
