"This was our first time at this particular location, however, we received the same great service that we usually get at all the Melting Pot chains.
One thing that I did notice was that it was really quiet there...they need some music! We went for the Big Night out Aspen set, which is their current them set. The big night out sets range from $80-$88 for 2 people and include 4 courses each. Cheese fondue,a salad, main fondue course and chocolate fondue. It's alot of food and we always leave feeling too full.
It's a bit pricey for an everyday restaurant, but you can order the courses separately and do for example just the cheese fondue or just the chocolate fondue which would be great for an afternoon get-together or after dinner drinks."

"We had a wonderful, delicious meal. We arrived early, went into bar area for a drink. Bar area is small and no seats were available, not really any place to stand. We were seated in a secluded little alcove booth, which was wonderful. Food and service were very good."

"A great place to gather with friends or just a romantic dinner for two. Service was excellent, food was excellent and our servers did a perfect job! Recommend highly especially for groups! This was a girls night... martinis were great! Such a nice change from the traditional restaurant setting.... Will definitely be back!"

"My girlfriends and I enjoyed our visit to The Melting Pot. Both the food and the atmosphere were pleasing. We did not order the meat portion of the meal and still had more than enough to eat at a reasonable price. It appeared to be perfect for an intimate dinner with very tall booths for privacy. Do not bring small children. The elongated forks and hot pad on the table make it unsafe. Our waiter, was very helpful and friendly. The deserts were fabulous!"

"Fantastic, fantastic. I love the Melting Pot already, but the location in Rocky River is the best I have been to thus far. Great ambiance, great service, and great staff. Plus, it was somehow easier to get a reservation at this location than it is at the Lyndhurst location. On top of that (yes, more), we showed up a bit early for our reservation and they were able to seat us immediately; you might be waiting an extra half hour or so after your reservation in Lyndhurst. HIGHLY recommended."

"I made reservations for a special occasion with my wife, and a romantic dinner without the kids. We were pleasantly surprised by our private seating. But from the time the waiter came to our table, I felt like we were expected to know the menu inside and out, and that we were inconveniencing him. The first course came out as the entirely wrong appetizer, and he attempted to confirm each subsequent course before bringing them out... and missed every single time. I feel like we were taken advantage of with gratuity fixed @ 19%. Our "gift" of a picture (actually a nice idea) was half photographer's fingers, and all red-eye. Nice gesture, but very poor execution."

"Our reservation was for 8:15....did not get seated until almost 9. we had to wait approx. 20 minutes in between dishes. other waiters even stopped at our table and had to tell our waiter that we were waiting for the next dish. we had to ask for a refill on our drinks after we waited 15 minutes with empty glasses. there was supposed to be a gift for us at the end of the night that included a picture frame with our picture in it. we had to ask about the gift to get ours. they did not even take our picture, just gave us a cheap frame. the two tables next to us also had to wait but they were compensated with gift certificates. the service was absolutely HORRIBLE."

"The Melting Pot is a very nice restaurant, great fora married couple needing a night out or for a good date. The fondue for each course was wonderful, as was the food that we dipped in it. Our opening course was a goat cheese and fig fondue. I was not sure I would like it but it was delicious. Our salads were very fresh and refreshing after the fondue. We chose the red wine based fondue for dinner which was an excellent choice. The foods provided for dipping (lobster tail, filet-mignon, shrimp, sea scallops, and pork) were very good. Our final course, thin mint chocolate fondue, was amazing, as was the delicious treats we had to dip in it (fruit, rice crispy treats, marshmallows, etc). Service was great."

"We had a group of 7 adults to celebrate a birthday. I made the reservation online for a Monday and thought it a bit odd that our option was 5:15 or 8:00. We opted for 5:15. The hostess explained on our way out that with parties of 6 or more these a set times. She said if I had called the restaurant that another time would have been available. All in all we had a good experience and a good waiter. The Rocky River location is impeccably decorated."

"Great food and good service, but the table for 4 was too crowded. We have been to this location several times with 4 people and always had 2 burners at our table. This past dining experience was not as satisfying because we were not given a 2-burner table...the hostess and waiter both told us the restaurant was filled to capacity. We made reservations a week prior to dining here and expected to get the table size that we had on prior experiences. Needless-to-say, we were disappointed and will have to insist a larger table when dining in the future. It was just too crowded in the pot with the 8 forks and vegetables."

"This was my second time dining at The Melting Pot. This time I brought family with me. The food was as always awesome, but our service this time was not so good. I told our server that only two out of the six of us there had been there before and everyone was a little confused on how the menu worked and what was the best options. The server seemed annoyed and didn't want to help us with anything we asked. With every question that was asked he (the server) gave us one word answers and was very rude. He pretty much acted like everyone should have figured out the menu and they were stupid for not understanding."

"I had been to the Melting Pot once before in Legacy Village with my daughter. We had a ton of food and it was delicious. This time, my husband and I went to the Westgate Mall location. The cheese fondue was absolutely delicious. We each ordered the signature entree and were disappointed with the small amount of food. The waiter suggested we order the broth to cook in instead of the oil. That was disappointing as it added no flavor and the meat we cooked all tasted like boiled meat. Also, we didn't get any batters to dip our food into prior to cooking as the batters don't work if you cook in anything but oil. Our drinks were delicious but way overpriced. The chocolate fondue was excellent. Overall, not a good value for what we paid"

"The Melting Pot was excellent. The only drawback for us was that there was an unusually long period of time between when we were finished eating and when the waiter took our dessert order. We went with The Big Night Out which came with a dessert and he dropped off the dessert menu but was nearly 25 minutes before he came back. That was just too long of a wait, I felt. Then we had to wait for the chocolate a bit longer than we expected again."

"Overall the experience was ok. Although I had hoped to have a more memorable one year anniversary. I really enjoyed the setting and privacy. Our waitress seemed to be friendly. I thought it was fun to get to cook your own food. However, when my waitress took my glass to get me a refill it did no return for at least a half hour (after several visits to the table). We also did not care for the cheese dip. We did not realize it was going to have such a unique taste and would have preferred to have a different base or more thoroughly explained. Also, by the time we were offered dessert we decided to take it to go. We had too much sitting around time between courses and just wanted to get home."

"A unique dining experience. John, our waiter was very patient in explaining the 4-course meal process. All four diners were satisfied with the abundant amount of food. everything was consumed. Approximately two hours is required to get through the 4-course meal. The wine list was quite extensive and reasonably priced."

"The Melting Pot was perfect. Its a great mix of food, fun, and quality. The food seemed endless and the staff was friendly and on top of things all evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who needed a great anniversary dinner date. Just plan to pay a bit of a hefty price. (For two it was about $100.00 without adult beverages)"

"We celebrated my daughter's sixteenth birthday at the Melting Pot on Saturday and it couldn't have been nicer! The staff was very attentive, the food was fantastic, and they did everything to make my daughter's night extra special. I wouldn't hesitate to dine there again for any special occasion! It can also be a very romantic evening for two as the booths are very private and cozy! It is an excellent dining out experience!"

"The employees that represent The Melting Pot are very cordial and professional. I
did not enjoy the food. This was just not my cup of tea. Even though it is a very
nice place, I didnt like how the food was prepared and I didnt care that all the meat
tasted pretty much the same once it was cooked, you couldnt tell what you were eating.
Again, nice place, but I wouldnt come back."
