"Live within 2 miles and thought we would give it another try since it had been over a year, bad idea. Very bad service, waiter seemed to have no clue, drinks took forever, salads arrived after 45 minutes, dinner after an hour and a half and my Rare to Med. Rare steak was sent back over cooked so we waited even longer."

"This was an unfortunate evening all around. The restaurant was not completely responsible for all issues here. The two complaints I had with them were that the food, although initially very good, was completely ruined by overly heavy, salty salad dressing glopped all over the salad and too much salt and butter on the grilled salmon. I like my grilled salmon grilled, not drowning in butter. The other problem was that we were not given split checks as requested, and when we asked again the waiter showed his irritation at having to redo them. I mean he was busy, and we were a bother. I have felt like a bother at this restaurant before and I will not be back. There are many places that want our business."

"This was our first time visiting. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and informative. My husband ordered the escargot, which were served in the traditional way and he enjoyed them. The salads had way too much dressing on them. My husband ordered veal, which was cooked well, but the gravy tasted like jarred. His also came with a side of fettuccine Alfredo, which tasted like paste. I ordered the special - roasted rosemary shrimp, which were served over a bed of linguine in a lemon butter sauce. The shrimp were dry and overcooked, but the sauce was good. Portions were generous, but not overly so. We skipped dessert. There are too many other good Italian restaurants to warrant a return visit here."

"I've lived here twenty years and have seen this place many times but never stopped in despite my constant quest for authentic italian food. I think the "piano bar" sign out front threw me off. But, I'm glad I finally went as we had a delightful meal. The food was fresh and the portions were proper which in my calorie conscious world, was refreshing. Prices are extremely reasonable - dare i say...cheap? Disappointed in the bread - light pastry like donut-hole bread things covered in butter. Can't anyone just have good italian/french bread anymore? The service was excellent and fast. An excellent experience and we definitely will return."

"Hubby and I went out for a special dinner to celebrate his new job and fell in love with Altobeli's. I made a reservation and we got sat almost immediately. It was not very busy on a Thursday evening. We also got service immediately. The live music was beginning when we arrived and the singer was quite good. I was bummed that the piano player played the keyboard rather than the piano, but hopefully it was just for the benefit of the singer. As for the food, I had a caesar salad and hubby had the house salad which were both awesome and a decent size. I had Petto Di Pollo Milanese and hubby had Petto Di Pollo Fiorentine. They were both delicious! We also had a glass of Chardonney with dinner and a Chocolate mousse and it was delicious!"

The bowls of garlic rolls did not have enough garlic oil in them, especially the second one, which had no visible garlic or liquid in it. The service was a bit slack, but, in all fairness, it was the Saturday after Valentine's Day, and was pretty busy.We sat in one of the back rooms, so the live music was piped in, but were able to move into the main dining room after we finished, and get to watch the entertainers.We thoroughly enjoyed the singing and music."

"A little disappointed that they were doing a special menu instead normal menu. Seems like prices were increased for Valentine's Day. Very disappointed that dessert tiramisu was frozen. We sent it back. Looked like it was microwaved or something to defrost it but still was frozen. Other than the dessert our entrees were good. Enjoyed the music! Will return but maybe not on Valentine's Day."

"Loved it! We had reservation and were very appreciative hen the 4 person party standing in front of us was told that the place was booked for the night with reservations starting then We were seated right away - LOVED the food, great wine, super yummy garlic knots! "One of the best in our area. Certainly one of the best Italian cuisine. We are NEVER disappointed. This is not your family pizza place. This is good Italian cooking, nice specials, great staff.
Ok for kids if they are not looking for Pizza. Veal, Chicken, steak, seafood, great pasta. Oh, and did I mention they have piano player and singer on the weekends? Great for special occasions."

"My friends and I had another wonderful experience at Altobeli's. The calamari was cooked perfectly and we sipped on an excellent chianti while we waited for entrees. Our dishes are difficult to pronouce since we do not speak Italian but the waiters didn't mind if we pointed to the menu. Most of the dishes we ordered featured chicken and every bite was delicious. We shared our entrees with each other and had trouble deciding which one was best. We finished off the bottle of chianti with cheesecake and satisfied smiles. Another great meal!"

"If you are looking for a fun evening, this is the place! My wife and I were treated to exceptional entertainment by Pam Carlson who had a velvety voice and a great range. The other star of the evening was the food. We shared the Clams Origanata to start. The clams were chopped and we were skeptical because we prefer whole clams. But they were moist and very tasty! The Trio Francese, featuring veal, shrimp and chicken in a delicious sauce was sublime. We look forward to returning and experiencing the rest of their varied menu."

"We have been to this restaurant twice and both times have been great. The food is excellent and the live entertainment was just that - entertaining, with a great job of sound system control. It was never so loud that you could not have converstion at your table. Highly recommended."
