"This was our second visit to Ethos. After our first, we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. This time, the service measured up but the food was somewhat of a disappointment. We asked ourselves if the chef had changed...It is still a welcome addition to the neighborhood, though."

"Well prepared seafood and salads-- basically prepared and fresh-I ordered a whole grilled fish- it was moist and perfectly seasoned. The prawns were grilled and were huge and lobster-like in taste and texture.
Pleasant and friendly staff- complimentary dessert and coffee was a nice touch

"This was a wonderful dining experience. It is a typical small midtown Manhattan restaurant, with a moderate noise level, slightly crowded but not cramped, appropriately priced, with excellent food. The fish was all fresh and on display for you to see. The wine selection was very good and also appropriate. What set my experience apart was the service. It was very inviting and our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly but not overbearing. I truly felt as though I was dining at her home. I strongly recommend this for anyone that enjoys Greek food and specialties that does not want to break the bank on a dinner out."

"Incredible Greek food the Char-grilled Shrimp and Calamari were tender and succulent. A simple hearts of romaine lettuce salad with dill and feta cheese was big enough for 2 and delicious. While I expected the cheese to be Flaming the pan seared kefalotyri was tasty also. For dinner the sword fish w/ lemon potatoes and the baby lamb chops w/ string beans Rocked; all full of flavor and plentiful portions."

"Excellent food and lots of good vegetarian choices. We were there early (around 6), so it was nice and quiet, although I hear that it gets noisy later. We had requested a romantic table when the reservation was made and we got a spot in the corner where we could sit next to each other. Will definitely be back!"

"Great place to meet with a group, family or friends. Space is big adn open. We love Ethos in our neighborhood, Murray Hill, but when meeting folks from around the city and eating with more than 4 people Ethos UN is where to meet. Food is fresh and great. Services is like being at home with no hovering staff,, they are there when you need them and that's it! Love it. Do not forget to order the octopus."

"I brought some friends to Ethos for a group dinner. Two of them never had Greek food before, weren't a fan of olives, and didn't like lamb. I was worried they wouldn't find anything they would like on the menu. Ethos had a fantastic seafood menu, and everyone loved what they ordered. To top it off, the dessert was fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect for a small group, and the service was great."

"The food was very good: I had the Greek meatballs, which were phenomenal, and the Bronzini was very flavorful. The hostess was excellent - she seated us right away and was quite helpful. The waitstaff was good. At first our waiter made us feel a bit rushed, but afterwards was polite and courteous. The restaurant even threw in free dessert, which was yummy. The decor and ambiance are okay - a bit outdated, but fine. Overall, a good experience."
