"My husband and I ate at Simply Fondue in Ft. Worth on the evening of Mother's Day! The staff greeted us with smiles and enthusiasm for making our evening an enjoyable celebration! The waitstaff and servers assistants were outstanding. Our needs were met, water glass filled frequently, courteous and educational instructions provided for cooking the various meats, and yet the evening remained a private and quiet celebration for my husband and me. I don't khow how they pull off so much attention without it becoming an intrusion on private moments, but they did it well and with style! Kudos!"

"Honestly the quality of the food in this restaurant is terrible. My salad was brown, the cheese was cold with in a couple of minutes and to strong to enjoy. The bread was hard and the vegetables that came with it weren't very good. The meat was of poor quality and honestly for the price of everything you would think the quality would have been better. We ordered some martinis that didn't seem to have any alcohol in them, I'm sure it was because they were sweet ones and it's easier to get away with short pouring them and that helps keep liquor cost down, but honestly for 30 dollars for 3 drinks, don't try to be stingy. The desert was good, but that was it. Don't waste your money!!!!"

"There for our wedding anniversary. 3-course meal with cheese, meats and chocolates. Food was fabulous! The process takes time but they set the expectation with a blurb on the site that says to plan for 1 1/2 hours for dinner. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. They tell you to mention the need to have a shorter dinner than 1 1/2 hours if you are rushed but the experience really does take that long, making it difficult. Plan ahead, be on time and you'll love this experience!"

"I think our wait person was probably new. We all left with grease on our clothes from the grease being to hot and it popped one of our people in the face. I have been to fondue several times and never had this happen. The portions were smaller than usual too. I have been to Simply Fondue before so I don't think this was normal either. The drinks were good and the food was good."

"I've been here multiple times over the past couple of years, and this was BY FAR the worst experience I've had!!! Apparently, they've cut down the portion sizes to "child-size". I've never come away hungry from a SF meal, yet for this we had ONE piece of meat per person. To make things worse, our waitress decided to park herself at another table for 10 minutes at a time, instead of worrying about her other tables, which meant that we sat idle for almost an hour before anybody came around to take a dessert order. Honestly--if you're going to spend $200+ for a meal--go to Ruth's Chris or Del Frisco!"

"The manager gave us a wonderful happy hour at the bar before dinner. The food is delicious, the service is spectacular and the ambiance is so nice. The music is soft pop/rock and never too loud. "Overall it was an adequate restaurant nothing extraordinary for the pricing. Our server was great and knew the menu very well. Was not pleased with the drinks as the martini did not have any alcohol and we had to send it back to be properly done and it was not done properly the second time around.
Other than that is an okay place for a one time dinner nothing remarkable the music did not lend a good ambiance.
For the pricing I expected an extraordinary experience and will not return."

"Our first time experience just me and the bestie starting off my birthday month. We loved the atmosphere it was great very proper and just what we expected. David our waiter was great, funny and very helpful around the table I highly recommend him as your waiter you will not be disappointed. The price is pretty high, but the quantity and quality of the food makes up for the price just great and we were so stuffed but omg we loved it."

"Food was excellent, high quality and fresh. Atmosphere was adequate and the dining area was clean. Our waiter was knowledgeable but failed to inform us , as first time users, the art of fondue and the recommendations as to which sauces were best with which types of meat or seafood. After stumbling through the cooking process we finally finished the meal. I would recommend first time users go with an experienced fondue diner or insist that the wait staff spend more time at the table explaining sauces and cooking techniques."

"We did the four course dinner. The cheese was great, salad was good and chocolate was awesome. We did not care for the meat. There were many choices and the quality was good. We chose the traditional method. You were frying your meat in hot oil. We did not care for this. In the future we will return and just have the cheese and dessert. "The week night specials are wonderful. My husband and I had all you can eat fondue and 2 drinks. With tax and tip it was just over $100. The owner was very kind and when we didn't care for the chocolate fondue, he immediately had another made for us. I would recommend this quiet, delicious, below ground haunt for couples!"

"I've been to Simply Fondue several times. It's been awhile since my last visit and it seems to have had quite a bit of wear and tear. The table top stove was chipped, and other things in the restaurant needed replacing. It's a good place to go for a romantic dinner or for couples or even a small group. However, they really need to do some replacing and get things nice and new-looking again."

"Decor seemed cheaply done. It was not the best fondue I've ever experienced, especially for the price. But overall if you're looking for a unique dining experience fondue is the way to go! I would suggest the dark chocolate and the unique strawberry spinach salad!"

"My wife and I tried Simply Fondue for the first time. My wife has to be on a Gluten free diet and our waiter was not informed. We had to teach him about a few things so it was a learning expecience for him. Otherwise the food was very good. The dessert was really good! We tried the "everything but the kitchen sink". Its like a ice cream sundae with out the ice cream."

"Food was great but I can't understand why or how a restaurant can justify having an $11 price tag on a glass of House Chardonnay. Due to the price of the house wine this restaurant will be placed on the "special occasions list" and not a place to visit on a regular basis."

"Went for our anniversary, the atmosphere was really unique. SF gave my husband and I time to interact while enjoying our meal(just because you have to wait for the food to cook.) Overall it was fun and exciting, something that we would probably do once are twice a year (as after a while it could become kind of cumbersome and exhausting having to wait on everything to cook, we were there about 3 hours). Definetly not a safe environment for children (hot oil, flames,hot table). Regarding price I personnaly believe that with all the effort the customer has to use to prepare the meal and for the portion size its a bit too high."

"The experience of fondue was greater than the actual food. It was wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. I gave it 4 stars because it was fun and our waiter was great. I would give the martinis a 5 star rating. They were delicious."

"We had Chef's Special I think it was called, Salad was good, would have thought we would have had more than one choice of Cheese to share, Meat was biggest disappointment in that cook it ourselves in a pot of oil right on the table, did not expect to have to deep fry my own food right there on the table. Dessert was good.
Now if we had 3 choice of cheese brought out to share, and a nicly prepared meat of our choice brought out it would have been much better dinning experience."

"Food was great. Service was outstanding. Ambiance - I'm marking down here because the back to our booth was broken and every time either of us or the unfortunate couple on the other side moved, it caused everyone else to be jarred. We told our waiter but there was no other available seating nor was anything done to compensate for this. My daughter ended up moving to the other side of the booth where there were then 3 people and I remained on my side alone and rode the ride."
