Affordable waterfront dining! Here you'll enjoy an amazing selection of day boat fish, fresh seafood, lobster and stone crabs, raw bar specialties and superb steaks and chops grilled to perfection! GG's Waterfront Bar & Grill, formerly Giorgio’s Grill is centrally located on beautiful Hollywood Beach, minutes from Ft. Lauderdale, Aventura and 15 miles from Miami. Overlooking the Intracoastal waterway with 450 feet of dock, this is a fabulous way to enjoy beautiful waterfront sunsets! Newly remodeled and updated, the interior is elegant, yet casual and comfortable. The main dining room also features views of our large, bustling open kitchen. You can even dine al fresco on the covered dockside patio or relax and have a cocktail, appetizers or a meal in our outdoor lounge or main bar. The restaurant is a Hollywood Icon - in the 50's and 60's it was the famous Rat Pack hang-out of Frank Sinatra and his buddies. Now you can enjoy our legendary waterfront dining and views!

"One of our local favs, GG's never disappoints. The mango mohito is delicious as is the warm bread delivered with hummus and soft butter. The kitchen does a nice job with their lobster Cesar salad which I request sans shell. The shrimp appetizer was excellent and a perfect lunch entree. Fresh seafood including a wide range of other items round out the menu. Our warm chocolate cake with ice cream was perfection. The water views can't be beat so all in all GG's is a home run. It's also well located for folks looking to meet between the Gables and Ft. Lauderdale."

"Starting with wonderful service from our wait person Victoria - excellent flatbread - enormous shrimp and then great entrees. The seafood dishes - saalmon, florida Grouper and the veal chop were superb - then to cap theevening great key lime pie and flowerless chcoalate cake - a must if you are staying in the area"

"Great all around. We were on vaca, so the prices were fine. If you're on a budget don't plan on drinking a lot- nY-comparable
Our server & the manager handled our want-to-be barefoot guest very well without making a scene (we met him at the hotel, so we didn't realize keeping his shoes on would be an issue)
Food was delish - my husband got the crab cakes (all crab) and sea bass; I had the grouper. Barefoot "Sam" got the lobster. No one was disappointed. The desserts were fab - definitely go for the key lime pie
All the drinks were good but I would have liked a bit more liquor in them for $10+ each

"Oyster could have been shucked a bit better. A lot of uneven sizes and not well prepared. Had the GG Salad to share but they didn't split the portion so we then had to deal with that and it wasn't your typical salad to split. I had the Boulibasse and my spouse had the filet mignon and lobster. Both entrees were wonderful but I think mine was the highlight. We had to ask the server for things like extra plate for the salad or when she took my bread plate before the meal had to ask for another one. Had to ask for more bread and She brought the pepper after I had already eaten half of the portion of my salad. Overall we would go back to eat there but now we are all the wiser"

"Ate here on 5/19. Food was good but may have been better if it wasn't for the cigarette smoke that overwhelmed the meal. We ate outside - not in the bar area but along the water. The smoke from the bar was overwhelming and the smokers would stand behind our table (with cigarette in hand) to take photos in front of the water. We went to retrieve the car from the valet. The employee was also smoking (and had cigarette in hand) when he took my valet ticket. We were charged $3 for valet even though there was no obvious signage stating such. The valet was a cluster coming in and going out (cars blocking the drive and not moving) - and no sense of urgency on the part of the valet lead to get things moving."

"First time in the Hollywood area, and wish we had found this place sooner. The food was delicious, the wait staff was attentive, friendly and informative about the local area. Cocktails were excellent, wine list was perfect, desert, key lime pie( i know, tourist) was fantastic! Definitely will return to the area just to go back here. Plus, a perfect sunset on the water(yes, we ate outside) It doesn't get better than that! Especially because we weren't anticipating it."

"GG's is a not only on the intracoastal, the outdoor space is over it. You can sit outside and enjoy your meal while looking out over North Lake and waving at boaters as they idle by. I opted for the bouillabaisse loaded with half of a Maine Lobster, calamari, scallops, shrimp and fish. The broth was excellent for dipping the fresh baked bread. My associate had a very large, perfectly grilled piece of grouper. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu items. I always appreciate a restaurant that has the servers taste all of their dishes."

"I've been twice since moving to Hollywood in April and I loved it both times. The food is wonderful, the service excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. It certainly isn’t the cheapest place on the block price-wise, but when you eat there you know where the extra cost is going. The outdoor patio is scenic and relaxing and indoors the views are also great. I had the sea bass one time and surf and turf the next (with stone crabs instead of lobster) and neither entree disappointed. For appetizers we shared the flatbread and mussels and both were equally delicious. Dessert the key lime pie is outstanding. Highly recommend GG’s."

"We went off hour between lunch/dinner service. Sitting along the Intracoastal Waterway was enchanting. And, there was no other table occupied during our visit. It was odd then, that it took almost 45 minutes to receive our entrees: a Grouper sandwich and Chicken Marsala with side salads. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed the relaxing view during the wait. Later, we received an email from Open table that we did not "honor" our reservation. We announced to the hostess that we had a reservation with Open Table at the time of our arrival and were ultimately compensated by Open Table. It is possible that during off hours there may have been a change in the kitchen shifts, still our server was helpful and we enjoyed it overall."

"One of our favorite go to spots for several years, the ceasar salad with lobster is a favorite for lunch or dinner. Pasta with clams is superb and loaded with clams. The salmon and grouper are delectable. It's nearly impossible to order wrong! Outdoor seating is beautiful at sunset and you are practically on the water. They make a good cappacinno and the key lime pie is as good as it gets. Be sure to make reservations and request outdoor dining. Check it out for private parties too."

"Dined at 6:30 on a Friday evening. The sunset view was spectacular. The waiter was attentive and jovial. The food was great. In particular, the Greek style seafood paella was one of the best seafood dishes I have had. Replacing rice with orzo pasta makes it much lighter. In addition to the scallops, mussels, and calamari, the large half Maine lobster was delicious. We will return as soon as possible."

"Great food and a surprise sunset! We went at the end of a rainy day and didn't schedule our reservation with the sunset in mind. But the skies cleared and we were treated to a glorious sunset. Dinner was fabulous - we both had the stone crab appetizer and the sea bass special - on a bed of risotto with crimini mushrooms. Dessert: key lime pie, of course. The perfect Florida dinner. Service was a bit slow - our server was delightful, but clearly was covering too many tables. Not a big deal - just gave us more time to enjoy the sunset :)"

"We were pleasantly surprised. It's usually difficult finding a restaurant that can handle a holiday meal without problems (i.e. wait time, food not cooked properly, under staffed) but Giorgio's handled all aspects well. We had the Easter menu which was great and priced well. The service was outstanding. The only minor complaint was that we had to pay to park. I find this a bit unusual since most restaurants do not charge to park on their property. Overall, we had a wonderful experience."

"Food was mediocre at best. Service was extremely slow and inefficient. Bread came to the table still partially frozen. Mussel appetizer came in a lovely large bowl with about 12 mussels. I have never seen a more pathetic looking serving. My chilean sea bass, a normally lovely moist fish was overcooked and very dry. I have eaten here in the past with an acceptable experience (lovely outdoor dining) but I have not had such a poor dining experience at this price range ever...a complete and total disappointment!"

"GG's works as a neighborhood restaurant that is vibrant, alive, and busy. The noise level inside is more than I care for, but the outside dining is wonderful, with heaters if you need them. The food is not fabulous, but fits within the range of restaurants in this area and the fish is cooked well--- moist not dry. The menu is pricey, but within reason. The ambiance is great for a celebration even inside."
