"The service was very good; prompt and attentive. From the salads to the burgers to the wraps, everything wash freshly made and the tastes were equally pleasing. Presentation of food and attention to detail was a nice added touch. The wine and beer list provided something for everyone. Overall, a very nice dining experience for a Saturday lunch."

"The restaurant should not have a once a year brunch if they can not handle it. Nothing was hot, they kept screwing up the order and we kept being told it was because it is a once a year event. Not good"

"Plantation restaurant is a nice place for that special holiday meal. It is quiet with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The menu is quite limited, mostly seafood entrees but the food is exceptional, well prepared with a touch of the unusual. I would highly recommend it."

"I wish I lived closer! This was our first time here but won't be our last. The food was creative, delightful, and the most interesting combinations of ingredients made our taste buds dance. The scallops were prepared to perfection, the mushroom ravioli was large, and delicate with a tomato-gouda cream sauce that rendered me speechless. Butternut Squash soup and New England Clam chowder were both fabulous. Mushroom risotto was to die for, and the rolls were incredible. A light dill and rosemary flavor to one of the rolls brought an amazing appeal to what is normally mundane. Desserts were heavenly. We loved everything especially our server Amy. She provided great direction, and professional service with a smile!"

"Unfortunately we don't like providing this type of review...It was a big let down, and we'll reiterate some of reviewer's comment to illustrate to the management please take a look at what you are doing. We had reservation for 6pm, we were stuck sitting in probably the loudest part of the restaurant. We appreciate you can't tell how loud parties will be, but why not put reservations on the quiet side of the restaurant near the lovely fireplace,after all we went out of our way to book the place. The food was just ok,nothing great and nothing so horrible. We were shouting across the talk to have a simple conversation with our friends.For a $270 check w/tip and no drinks, all we can say is never again and very dissappointed."

"food was great! only negative is that we were there for a romantic dinner and after we had been seated the hostess seated a woman with 2 pre-teen children. It was not crowded so they could have put them in another table. Other than that we had a great night!!"
