"We had reservations for four at restaurant to celebrate Father's Day. We ordered the Sesame Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Phad Thai w/ beef, and Tilapia, everyone enjoyed thier meal . My husband ordered the blueberry basil lemonade cocktail he said it was not that tasty of a drink and my daughter ordered the Elder Flower cocktail, she said it was extremely delicious!.
It was very quiet because only one other table was seated when we arrived at 4:35pm but by the time we finished our meal three other tables had been seated, there could have maybe been more people were on the bar side.
Over all our family enjoyed our dining experience."

"Service was slow and unapologetic for delays (restaurant was half empty). One of the entrees came out burnt. Though they replaced it with a different dish, it was not taken off the bill, and then I was forced to play an automatic gratuity of 20 percent because we were a group of seven. I've eaten at j lius on several occasions, and have been happy with the food and service, but not this time. Hope they fix what went wrong."

"We chose this restaurant to get away from the PGA crowd at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin to entertain our out-of-town friends. Everyone loved it! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding as usual. I enjoyed my Lobster Bisque and Potstickers. My husband got a generous portion of Chicken Fried Rice. Two of our friends ordered a pasta dish, and one of them got a Szechuan Chicken dish that he said was excellent. We also found a great wine list, and our friends enjoyed their bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We always enjoy returning to J.Liu's restaurants in Worthington and Dublin."

"we had reservations for brunch on mother's day. being a very busy day, i understood there may be a delay or running a bit behind on reservations. however, i didn't expect to be 25 minutes behind. also, the valet/parking was a disaster. also, when i made our reservations, i requested a high chair. one was not available when we were seated. they brought us 3 booster seats and all three had broken buckles. our 17 month old son slipped out of the booster and hit his head on the floor beneath the table."

"We went here for my dad's birthday. Our server was great and made wonderful recommendations. Their calamari--as she said--is some of the best in the city. Also we had a flatbread with a balsalmic glaze that was delicious!I have a 2 year old and it was nice to be able to get up and walk around with him every now and then--they have a large fish tank (although there weren't many fish in it this time) and lots of interesting decor and space. The manager was very kid friendly too. My son LOVED the lobster bisque soup, which is saying a lot because he's at that age where picky is his middle name.Everyone loved their meals and we enjoyed our time together. They even gave a kids sundae for my son and a fudge brownie sundae for my dad on the house!"

"Atmosphere was modern and fresh with plenty of energy, but there are seating options that can be more intimate if desired. Our server was great, however, from watching some of the waitstaff, a few might leave you frustrated if you're expecting attentive and/or upscale service here. There's American, Asian, and Italian choices on the menu, pretty much food 101 though, nothing inspiring or original, but solid and well prepared. The wine list is basic, and on the two occasions I've been there for dinner, the evening specials were just slight variations of entrees already on the menu everyday. It's a step up from say Champps or Applebee's, but not the "impress the boss or big client" place. But still solid, well prepared basics."

"Excellent service. We were a group of four ladies and we stayed late. Our server made us feel very comfortable and not rushed at all. She explained all our dishes very well to us and helped with our special requests. She delivered excellent service and told us the specials. She became part of our table and we really appreciated her. The food wasn't rushed and was appropriatly spaced out between dishes. The food quality was very good and the price for the food/atmosphere/service was exceptional. I would recommend to friends and family. This was my first time and great 1st impression! Thank You. One of the ladies in the group had been there before their brunch and she spoke highly of it and I will be returning!"

"Easter buffet was very good. Enough items and variety of items on the buffet. Buffet was always being watched to make sure that all items were well stocked. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the line for the buffet was never very long and very easy to obtain to the food. Not a problem to get refills on coffe, as the server stopped by to check on his tables regularly. Would do this again for Easter, well worth the price."

"We were going to the buffet at 4 pm. Didn't know that it ended and they didn't mention it when they confirmed the reservation the day before. They said there would be plenty of food, but upon looking at the buffet, there was no roast beef left, salmon looked like it had been there all day, and other food looked like it had been there awhile.We opted to go elswhere."

"My family and I greatly enjoyed your Easter Brunch. The wait staff were very attentive and polite. The choices of food were extensive and very tasty. The only negative that we had to say about our experience was that perhaps the tables were positioned a bit too closly together. It was very difficult to maneuver from table to buffet tables. Other than that we had a wonderful visit."

"We went for dinner and the meal was very good. Some food was better than others but I would highly recommend the no bake chocolate cake. The servers seem to be relatively young, so their inexperience was fairly evident. The decor of the restaurant is very good and the bar area is nice. Overall, the evening was good but not great."

"J.Liu's has been one of our favorite restaurant spots but after Saturday's experience I believe it might have to drop off the list. Beside the very poor quality of food I feel it was not handled properly for an establishment such as J.Liu's. Although the management agreed that the food was not acceptable the attitude was more like oh well, it might not be on the menu the next time so just pay for what was not acceptable. I am only writing this review because situations like this could be very damaging to a fine restaurant. I guess it would be save to say that sending diners to this location would have to cease until it becomes apparent that their current problems have been resolved. In addition it was an embarrassment with my guest."

"I have yet to have a bad meal or experience at J.Liu's. Once again we had a wonderful meal and our waitress was awesome. Our party was not able to arrive all at the same time and we were not rushed and were given plenty of time to enjoy our drinks and appetizers until everyone was there. We were there for my birthday and it made it an enjoyable experience!"
