"I'm going to make this short and sweet. The service was absolutely outstanding! We never had an empty glass and were not in need of anything. It was top notch service.
On a bad note however, my steak was very under cooked. I had ordered it medium well and received a rare. The steak was still purple in the middle. This was corrected, but still not acceptable for a steak house. Other than that, the rest of the food was great. I will come back."

"I went there with my girlfriend and while the service was a bit slow to begin, the overall experience was great. The music adds a little noise (violin player, piano player), but adds to the experience. I ordered the Rib-eye and I thought it was a bit overcooked, however my girlfriend ordered the filet and I thought it was about as tender as possible. I would say the filet will be my choice when i go back and I put it on par with Bob's, JRs, which are two of my favorites. Another thing about our experience I liked was the appetizers and sides were generally pretty good (exception of lobster bisque which was just OK). I had mushrooms and lobster tail and both were wonderful. I would go again."

"My wife and I have been coming to The Old Warsaw fairly regularly for about 3 years and have been pleased every visit. I am not going to pretend that I am a food critic or have an exceptional palate; however, I know what I like and I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is very good and the service has been outstanding. We often come prior to concerts at the AA Center because it is a great way to start a special evening and is quite close."

"The food was good in this old-school restaurant. It's the kind of place you take someone to show off your ability to spend lots of money having 3 waiters at your beck and call at all times. But the steaks and seafood are fairly ordinary, and you pay for each side dish. So two people having one steak and one seafood, with one fairly ordinary, unseasoned vegetable each, water, no salad or soup, no appetizers, no deserts, $100 plus tip. I can't imagine what it would cost to spend hours eating and drinking here. Still, it's a classy place with old country ambiance, and I would go back if I wanted to impress someone with my ability to spend money."

"This was not our first time to the Old Warsaw and had excellent experience before but unfortunately this visit didn't meet our expectations. Service was poor, we felt rushed (in a half empty restaurant) and our steaks weren't cooked properly. I sent mine back and it wasn't right the second time either. Overall the dinner was good but at this price point I would expect more."

"Everything was fantastic! If I had one request it would be to bake your puff dough around the beef Wellington a bit more. My date and I both ordered that and the tenderloin itself was incredible, but on the bottom, it was quite dough like and we could taste the flour. Besides that, everything was a real treat; an unforgettable experience. Thank you!"

"The restaurant was very good, with great atmosphere. The food was great and the staff was very kind. Food did not take too long to prepare, and they have an endless menu of foods and drinks. The staff could however give the customers some privacy as they were standing there as we eat which was somewhat uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was totally worth it."

"Our 3rd time to go. This is really old school dinning and we always enjoy the wonderful piano and violin music throughout dinner. They were flexible when we had to add another person to our table of 6 and that was very appreciated.
The food has always been good, this time no different, but it always seems it could be a bit warmer when served. However the soufflé was excellent end to the dinner! I was surprised it was not as crowed on a Saturday night (compared to the last time). Wonder if there are issues impacting that? We did not see any on this visit but makes one wonder given the long standing tenure of this restaurant."

"The old world charm of the restaurant is what draws people who have never been there before, but the service is another thing. Our first waiter was very gracious and patient (we had a person that was running late. My husband explained in Spanish that we were waiting on one last guest he was very kind. The waiter that was working with him had a problem with our waiting.....he didn't know my husband spoke Spanish. My chicken breast was dry and there was hardly any sauce on the Fettucine. Upon getting ready to depart, the second waiter was very quick to grab one guest's chair to help her get up from the table. Twice there was the shatter of dishes falling to the floor. The second time we all jumped. No return."

"I've dined at quite a few 4 & 5 star restaurants around Dallas and I have to say this was by far the worst experience I've had. My reservation that has been made weeks in advance was for 9:30pm on Valentines Day. We get there and advised there would be a short wait. We were finally seated an hour later... after a couple that came in after we did. Once we were finally seated our waiter only checked on us when the courses were being changed. Not only that but because we were seated so late, the dessert we wanted was no longer available. I went on the recommendation of others and will never go. The service was horrendous and the food was okay. If you want a nice romantic dinner you'll have a better experience at the French Room/St. Martins."

"Overall we really enoyed our Dinner. They were pretty busy when we ate but the staff was very attentive. They were a bit shabby with their bread though. We already had our appetizes before they brought the bread out. Lighting was very good and I really liked the music. I will go back again and would recommend others give it a try. Make sure to try the Beef Wellington. It was really good."

"This was one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, on our last visit the Beef Wellington (one of the reasons we go to there) was overcooked at one end and undercooked and doughy at the other end. My husband's Creme Brulee was great, mine dripped off the spoon and I settled for no dessert. Our primary server was unattentive; even though he was standing directly behind us at length, he would not make eye contact with us and we had to request his attention. Fortunately, our secondary server was wonderful. Our first choice off the wine menu was not available but our second selection was. As always, the music was amazing and made the night special. Although I rated The Old Warsaw "Good", I expect more from a restuarant of this class."

"The Old Warsaw used to be an upscale restaurant, but a man sitting behind us had on jeans and hoodie sweatshirt. The service was not quick, it took the waiter very long to refill waters and over 15 minutes to bring the check after we were done. For a dinner for two being over $130 without drinks, i expected more out of the restaurant."

"Since the early 80's my wife and I have considered the Old Warsaw as one of our favorite restaurants, especially for special occcasions. We went on Valentine's day and 5:15 was the latest reservation available. The reservation was made two weeks in advance. For the first time my Filet was over-cooked, there were two of us our of four that ordered filets, one medium well, and mine medium rare. they both were cooked the same (slight areas of pink and somewhat dry."

"Brought my BF for his birthday. Very slow service. Got our orders wrong. Steaks not cooked to our request but waiter never came back to table to check on us. We didn't even get offered the toppings for the baked potato. The hostess came to our table and gave us a check with a credit card I. It from another table. Very disappointed in our birthday celebration dinner"

"The Old Warsaw came across as just another restaurant, with little to set it apart from the other options in the Dallas area. The bread was overcooked, but the salads (Boston lettuce, Baby Spinach) were both well balanced with the flavors that were in them. The Filet Mignon and Rib Eye both had a good flavor but neither were amazing. The Lobster Tail was a bit chewy and seemed overcooked. The desert was a mistake: it tasted like store-bought apple pie and noticeably old vanilla ice cream.
Our server was soft-spoken, making it difficult to hear him even in a nearly empty restaurant. They were quick to recook one of our steaks that was underdone and courteous at times, but provided little beyond that."

"The maître d' was rude, when we showed him our reservation confirmation from Open Table he acted like he had never heard of Open Table, which is odd since that is the only way you can make an online reservation. He asked us "where are you from?" which seems like a strange thing to ask. When I made the reservation a month ago, I asked for a booth, & earlier that day, the restaurant called to remind us of the reservation (very nice of them) & again I said I would prefer a booth. We arrived about 10 minutes early & I told the maître d' that we didn't mind waiting if we needed to. Instead, he led us to a table in the middle of the restaurant. After finally getting a booth (from the hostess) the rest of meal was great, too bad for the start."

"What started out as an inauspicious evening became a memorable dinner. When we arrived for our 7p reservation, a large party had just descended on the hostess and they appeared to be quite overwhelmed. Within 10 minutes, we were sat at a great table and everything improved from there. Only glitch of the night.
The lobster bisque was remarkable; NOT salty and very flavorful. The caviar was tasty and the only thing missing was a caviar spoon.
Lobster thermador was rich and creamy. The sea bass my wife had was reportedly the best she had ever enjoyed. Our waiter was fairly attentive. The roaming violinist was very old school and set just the right tone. A great evening - great food - great ambiance."

"I never send reviews of restaurants, but, I have to tell you we had one of the worst experiences we have ever had at this restaurant. The service was sub par, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and the server was no where to be found for most of the evening. The food was absolutely unedible. I had to give my steak back to be made in to medium from pretty much rare. We always drive by and have never gone in and was really looking forward to it. Now, we'll never return and have bad memories! This place is completely over priced, we spent $300 on a dinner that was worth $20 at best. Diners beware!"

"Food was really good. As mentioned in Rate Your Experience, service was erratic, had to ask for bread and then butter. Took two take home boxes, no bag. I think that Old Warsaw is a great restaurant but the service is not the caliper it has been and could continue to be. I took a friend there on New Year's Eve. The wait staff was really pushed and I could understand it being NYE but I would have thought management would only take as many reservations as they could really handle in the old style of Old Warsaw.
Two times service great, two times service lacking. If they could get their wait staff to equal the food, we would have Old Warsaw again.
Sorry to be so down on wait staff, but this is how I feel."
