Restaurant Reviews for Rococo Restaurant and Fine Wine
Rococo Restaurant and Fine Wine
2824 North Pennsylvania Avenue Oklahoma City, OK 73107
Rococo Restaurant and Fine Wine is located at 2824 N. Pennsylvania Ave, in the location that was Tony’s Italian Specialties for many years. The menu is diverse along with carefully selected wines, spirits and beer. An international menu where everything is hand crafted with so many appealing dishes you will feel compelled to come again and try the dishes you missed! Chef owned and operated, we are obsessive about quality and service. The atmosphere, comfortable and stylish, whether at the bar, by the cozy fireplace or in one of our “gangster” booths. There is always something happening at ROCOCO!

Review 2 for Rococo Restaurant and Fine Wine
Overall Rating
(Very Good)
"Rococo's is truly a great spot for an "off-the-beaten-path kind of night. With a wide-ranging menu, from beef to fish and pasta to pork, Rococo's has a dish for the fussiest individual. The appetizer menu will fill you up with choices between hot or cold apps, but don't let it happen, as the entrees are very good.
If you plan to go on Friday or Saturday night, don't count on a quiet evening with your spouse or friends. First, the crowd synergy is typically high resulting in a fairly loud atmosphere. On top of that, Rococo's offers live music on Friday and Saturday night, so plan on good food, good entertainment, and very little conversation. But, don't let a little noise scare you off. Rococo's is worth experiencing...more than once!"

"Had a great experience at Rococo on Valentine's Day. The food was unique and delicious, especially the crabcake. We enjoyed the romantic live music. Service was great-- the owner came around to all the tables to make sure we were enjoying everything. We will definitely be back, 5 stars all around!"

"We hadn't been in awhile but were rewarded with fabulous food! Our server was very attentive and helpful. We had the crab cakes and stuffed pork chops which are so great ,it's hard to ever order anything else. The crab cakes will spoil you from ever like them anywhere else. Their food is divine and well worth the price. Unfortunately you will have to ask the server for the price of the specials, since they don't tell you. This is a pet peeve of ours and was discussed with the chef/owner the last time we were there. But I see it hasn't changed. Prices are on the menu...so please state the prices of the specials too. Thanks! Otherwise we love Rococo's!!!"

"This was a romantic, Valentine dinner for us. We decided to have 2 appitizers rather than order side dishes. And boy where they worth it! 1st we had the calamari-a favoite for my both my husband and I. Then we had the crab cake. A MUST have! Husband ordered the fishermans stew-I stole a bite. VERY good. I got the stuffed pork chop. Cooked perfectly. The flavors all fit together and you could taste the food. Nothing overwelmed the flavors of the crab, fish or pork. Very nice. We don't drink so we can't comment on the wine list. But the service was great. Bruce, the owner was out and about making sure his guests were happy. Wish more owners would do that. Really a great guy and and a super experience."

"We booked our reservation at Rococo because we had a time constraint since I was due to work that day. WOW! What a surprise; we go to Church on 31st St & Penn and have mentioned many times that we wanted to eat there. It was a wonderful experience. We especially loved that it is not a "chain" restaurant; we will definitely be there again. The service was wonderful & the food was awesome."

"We have been to Rococo's several times, and each time we go, it just gets better. Our waiter was phenomenal and the food superb! We have recommended this terrific restaurant to all of our friends. We belong to a dinner group and have experienced many restaurants in OKc, Norman and Edmond and have found Rococo's one of the best restaurants in the area."

Review 20 for Rococo Restaurant and Fine Wine

"We dined with with 2 friends the other night. It was their first visit but not ours. We were seated in a booth located beeline from the door so every time the door opened, we were freezing (it was about 20 degrees outside). The booth was also behind the band making it difficult to talk at times. Our food was quite good. Though, I had the chicken florentine, and Mickey Mantles makes a much better version. My husband had pasta which he reported good and our guests had the salmon and duckling which they stated was good as well. Potatoes and mushroom risotto - good. The crab cakes - excellent. My main problem is that once we paid, we never saw our waiter again. Our water glasses were empty, and we might have enjoyed another drink from the bar."

"This is the second time I've been to Rococo's - and I LOVE it! It's cozy and a little dark - lots of candlelight. (which was perfect for our night out) The food is just SO good - and they even had live music while we were there. The food is very upscale, but it is very casual and comfortable. Both times I've been there Bruce (owner) has come out to check on us - SUPER friendly guy!
I will be back....probably many, many times!"

"The crab cakes and wine selection were stellar, as always. The restaurant is pretty dark which makes it hard to read the menu and see what you are eating (not a good thing). We ordered the appetizer special (a goat cheese spread with crispy wontons) which was good, but not great. Two in our party order the fish special, a crab stuffed filet of sole, which was light and flavorful but not great. My penne Bolognese was ok but, again, not great. It lacked a depth of flavor that Bolognese is known for and the pasta was not al dente. Overall a lovely evening but pretty pricey for what we received. We will go back to sit at the bar, enjoy the wine list, and savor a crab cake but probably not for dinner."
