"I took my wife, daughter-in-law, son and two 5 year old grandchildren to Ironwood for Mother's Day. We had never been there and, frankly, it was the only decent place where I could get reservations for Mother's Day at the last minute. What a delightful dinner. The food was excellent, the waitress understood that kids need to be served quickly, and she treated us like special guests. We will return to Ironwood regularly and we already have recommended it to friends. Everyone assumes it is a place for visiting golfers to hang out, and it is. But it is also a great restaurant for locals, like us."

"Was during honda classic, restaurant was not busy. Served drinks in plastic, said they did it during tournament. Fries were cold, server immediately fixed it. Grouper was a minuscule piece. Chef said it was because ordered it without panko crumbs & it shrunk (one of our group is gluten free). Manager took it off bill."

"Amazing how well prepared they were considering the golf tournament ( Honda Classic ) was in full swing. The food was outstanding- from the bread basket filled with freshly baked artesian breads to the freshly shucked creamed corn . Well Done!!"

"The food was good but the service was awful. Our waiter didn't have a clue. It was quite expensive. With great service I'd say it was worth the money, but the waiter gave us poor service, so I expect we will not be back."

"Unfortunately, although we had advanced reservations, we were seated in the casual section of the restaurant next to a couple with a newborn and among others that were enjoying a stay at the resort with their shorts and tee shirts. My wife and I were dressed up and out of place. During previous dinners there, we always were seated in the more formal section. There was no space available there. I suspect they held those tables for larger groups. It was supposed to be a romantic dinner....but that wasn't to be with a crying baby 18" from our table, and parents who didn't seem to care as they both sat texting on their smart phones.
The service was very good and the meal excellent. We will give it one more try."

"We had 6 people. 3 ordered the prime kansas city bone in steak. That meat was really grisly over cooked and frankly just plain bad. Service was absolutely erratic. We actually stopped a young women who we thought was an employee as she ran through the dining room. Actually she was another highly disgruntled patron looking for some-one, any one, to take her money!! All of the parties food was cold upon arrival at our table,and our servers disappeared so fast no one could ask for some help with their cold food. Drink portions were so small and so over-priced we were all frankly amazed at the nerve of management. Other parties arrived at the bar and waited over an hour past there reservations times. There were many more issues....."

"Dinner for 4 was nice and food good but ...I ordered Halibut and the portion size was about the size of my IPhone! Based on the price I was a little surprised the portion was so small. Actually, compared to my last visit, all the portions for our entrees was small. Loved the crabcake appetizer. Very nice wine list."
