"Food was excellent but a little pricey. Waiter was fabulous. He was friendly without being overpowering. Timing of all courses was very good, we didn't have to wait long for anything but weren't rushed."

"Great food, great service, to bad our window overlooked the lighted tennis courts, this kind of lost our romantic dinner. Also the noise level was very energetic we had a hard time hearing our waiter explain some of the dishes. (and we are in our 40's)
For dinner we had the Wabsis encrusted Ahi which was great. We also had the Pork Chops they were fantastic. We are not Pineapple Upside down cake fans, but upon the recommendation of the waiter, we tried it. It was gone in a split second--fantastic!! This is not your mothers pineapple upside down cake--not even close. This is pure bliss."

"We had a great meal here and I think the presentation may have been very nice. However, our food was served after the sun set and we couldn't see it. It is like they forgot to turn the lights up. We even had trouble seing the bill."

"I would like to Thank the staff and chefs from the Pineapple grill for the wonderful dinning experience. Our waitress was pleasent and very helpful. The atmosphere in there was great for the romantic setting that I was seeking. Our birthday and valentines ocassion could not have been at a better restraunt. "The food was extraordinarily good, and the service was attentive and the waiter was helpful in selecting courses and wine. We dined at several upscale restaurants while on Maui and the Pineapple Grill was the best. We dined at the Pineapple Grill twice because the other restaurants had deficits ranging from being too noisy to surprisingly poor food."

"When you are in Kapalua, Maui, the best place to dine is Pineapple Grill. Best because the food quality, preparation and service match that of the finest restaurants in any major US city, and best because the happy staff makes dining a pleasure. Truly an exceptional restaurant, Pineapple Grill is fortunate to have Chef Ryan Luckey, who is a master of culinary skills. My wife and I have dined at all of the major Maui restaurants, and while Gerard's in Lahaina is an outstanding French dining experience, the food is just as excellent, and occasionally even better, at Pineapple grill, and the prices more reasonable."

"Food at a golf clubhouse was never so good. Whether you come for lunch, dinner or drinks and snacks, you'll be happy in this casual-but-nice ambiance. It overlooks the tennis courts more than the sea, but there are views of Lanai'i in the distance. Pretty good cheese plate to finish up. I was disapointed in the Surfing Goat on the assorted cheese plate, but assume that there are other varieties from this supplier that may be more impressive."

"From the moment we arrived, we were attentively greeted by smiling staff eager to fulfill our requests. The bar service, our server, along with the after dinner follow up was outstanding. We were even personally greeted by the owner of the restaurant to open our bottle of wine AND greeted again on our way out to assure we were headed in the right direction on our way home.

The food was hands down the best we had on Maui (and most anywhere really) and I would highly recommend this establishment to any of my friends and family.

The Pineapple grill made our New Year's Eve special and I am so happy we made it out to that side of the island. We will definitely be back.
