Mere Bulles offers superb food, outstanding service, a beautiful setting and a 'make it happen' attitude. Our goal is always to exceed your expectations. We reside in what was once the grand manor house of Maryland Farms. Lunch at Mere Bulles is whatever you need it to be. You can be in and out quickly, or you can enjoy a leisurely meal with important clients.
At night Mere Bulles transforms into a relaxed, beautiful place. In Fall and Winter, cozy up to the fireplace for a great meal in The Living Room. In Spring and Summer, relax in our bright, cheerful Indoor Patio with its floor to ceiling windows. Surrounded by majestic old maple trees, the outdoor patio is the place to be when the weather permits. We have five inviting private dining rooms. which can be booked by phone or E-mail through our friendly and astute Events Staff. We also provide free shuttle service to hotels in the Brentwood area.

"We went for our anniversary. Having never eaten at this restaurant, I was hoping for a romantic, quiet dinner. Unfortunately, that's not what we got. Food was great though. Probably will eat there again but not with the same expectations."

"This is my go to spot for a business lunch or business drink/appetizer after work. The service is awesome, the atmosphere is great and the food is always great. I have tried just about everything but usually I eat the salads which are HUGE and wonderful. And if you save room for dessert, the carrot cake is the best I have ever had."

"The food was great, we were seated promptly when I mentioned I had a reservation. Our server was good, but at the end she made an error which I think she should have addressed. I had a party of 2 adults and a toddler, next to us was a party of 8 adults. Somehow she charged their ticket to my credit card, I did not know that until the next day when I checked my balance online. I contacted the manager and was told that she reversed it, but I think she should have told me "I made a mistake so an additional charge may show up on your card" Other than that everything else was good, I will return but will pay in cash in the future."

"One sentence: Crème Brulee French Toast with raspberry sauce...
But seriously, what I love best about their brunch is the fact that they offer all the favorites and a few specialties as well without overwhelming the senses - Charleston Style She Crab Bisque is a MUST HAVE for me (incredibly decadent), made to order omelets, crepes, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit & salads with Green Goddess dressing! Sausage, bacon, cheesy hash brown casserole & of course who doesn't love a chocolate fountain?!
Dinner is delicious as well - great steaks!
Overall, we love Mere Bulles and always bring out of town guests to this gem of a restaurant!"

"The service is fantastic and the noise level is just right - you can't hear anyone else's conversations BUT you can hear your own. The lunch menu is appropriately priced ~$13.00 per meal and there is enough variety to satisfy just about anyone. The salads are a personal favorite but this time I had the Santa Fe Chicken and it was oustanding!"

"We dined at Mere Bulles finally after living in Brentwood for 7 years. It is a very traditional restaurant with multiple dining rooms. We were seated near a doorway between two of the dining areas, and it was quite noisy, in addition to a very loud large party in our dining room. The food was very good - traditional preparations of classics. It's probably very nice for a lunch spot, but be selective on seating if you want something more intimate. Service was very good."

"Despite being 7:30 on a holiday weekend, we were seated immediately. There were reasonably priced food and drinks. The service was good. I saw our wine sitting at the bar, and a staff member swooped in and brought it to us. Turns out he was a manager and had noticed the bottle too and just wanted to make sure we got it as soon as possible. He told us a little about the restaurant.
The bisque is to die for. The fried artichokes were delicious, especially the dipping sauce, which was a spicy ranch. I had a tender snapper with mushrooms and veggies. Big enough to eat half and take half.
For kids, I saw a server walk by with a grilled cheese. The cheese on the sandwich looked artificial; I'd rather see wheat bread and real cheese."

"Based on other comments, I am hopeful that our poor service experience was an exception and not the rule. While the setting was nice, I struggle to see this as a romantic setting. The quality of food and price does live up to a 'special occasion' label though. Even though our service experience was not on par with the expectation, I would recommend it based on the quality and flavor of the food.
The cheese plate was a superb starter and the entrees did not disappoint. You should save room for the carrot cake as well."

"This is a charming and beautiful place for a special meal with family & friends! The rolls were fresh, perfect temperature, crusty on the outside while being nice & soft inside. Our Salmon Spinach Salad was delicious, fresh, with right amount of dressing! The salmon was perfectly cooked medium just the way we ordered & almost melted in our mouths! "Every month, a friend and I go to a restaurant for dinner. Mere Bulles was our May pick. Nice night to eat out. A group had an event on, the balcony, but thet still had three tables under the balcony, so we were happy. Unfortunately, some very loud ladies were sitting next to us and I couldn't even hear myself think. Other than that, the service was excellent. I had bruscetta which was like garlic bread with pesto, cheese, tomatoes...it was so good. Then I got the spinach salad with mango and strawberry salsa. So good. Shrimp and grits put me over the edge in the full dept. But I had to try their carrot/spice cake. Very good, goopy, sweet...I needed to take half home to my husband. What a meal!"

"Molly was our server for the night! She was absolutely great and offered great recommendations for a wine pairing. The atmosphere on the patio was great. I loved the view and the temperature was perfect! All of the crew worked together and helped out other tables besides their own. "We came from out of town to celebrate our anniversary and Mere Bulles made it so special. Our waiter was so attentive and made us feel like we were his only customers. He put candles on our dessert and brought it out which topped off the evening. We love to eat out and this experience was the best we have ever had. "Our family celebrated Mother's Day at Mere Bulles for brunch. It was fantastically wonderful. As a mom, I could not have asked for better. The whole family was happy, including my 3 year old daughter. The food was outstanding and the service just as wonderful. Don't miss the creme brûlée French toast if its offered. It was heavenly."

"I was recently in Nahville for a meeting and I happened upon this fantastic restaurant in the Brentwood community just south of Nashville. It is in an older home from the farm that was developed. The place is beautiful, as of most older southern homes with charm. The food and service were both fantastic! It was well worth the cost and I would definitely return to this Southern Belle."

"This was my second brunch at Mere Bulles, and it hasn't let me down yet. At times the atmosphere can seem a little stiff and ridged but the food makes up for it. Food is refreshed consistently and the quality has the same consistency. Don’t forget your wallet because brunch for 2 plus tip will run you around 80 bucks, which is a bit pricey considering the many brunch options in town. If entertaining the in-laws or out of town guest this is a must stop."

"My wife and I were staying in the area and tried Mere Bulles. We really enjoyed our evening. Vernon was our waiter and did a great job talking about various menu items and providing great service. "My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary with a quiet dinner for just the two of us. We decided to try Mere Bulles since it is close to home and we have tried to get reservations in the past. We had such a wonderful, relaxed, romantic evening thanks to the wonderful staff and the gorgeous mansion ambiance.
Vernon, our server, was wonderful...he made our night very special with his superb service and his warm and thoughtful ways.
We will definitely go back and bring our visiting family members for sure!"

"I have never had dinner at Mere Bulles on a weekend. I went on Saturday night and will not again. I was seated in the patio area (although we had requested to be moved). It's far too loud there when paying the prices of this restaurant. There were two large parties seated there, and one in particular acted as if it were the only table. No one on the management team did anything to curb the noise in order to make it more pleasant for other diners. In addition, the service was extremely slow. Our bottle of wine sat on the service bar for quite some time, and we finally had to ask our server about it. The food was very slow in arriving at the table. We had taken guests who had never been to the restaurant before, and I know they won't return."

"The restuarant is very unique; very charming and a very relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for our romantic anniversary dinner. It's in an old house with a lot of history. It intrigued my historic geek side. The food was fanastic! Steak was cooked to perfection. The side dish portions were just the right size. We left very full and satisfied. The service was excellent and very personable. The waiter was knowledgable of the wine list and menu. We could tell he has worked there for several years. We also got dessert on the house because it was our first time dining there. The carrot cake was to die for!"

"It was OK. That's about all I can say. The old saying "nothing to write home about" would be appropriate here. It's a seemingly old, semi-historic interior, not very busy but then it was a Monday evening, and the scallops and the crab cakes were good (I honestly cannot remember what the third person in our party had)...but Ted's Montana Grill crab cakes are far superior---just my opinion. Co-worker thought that the scallops dish was very good but also very heavy on onions and peppers."
