"We went to Ruth's Chris for our 2nd wedding anniversary. This was only our second time and it was just as great as the first time. The food was outstanding and the service is second to none! Since it was our anniversary they had rose petals on our table in the shape of a heart and gave us a free desert. We will defiantly be going back."

"It was date night for an early part of the the week, so maybe this may explain why the service was ok, but more about the delivery of the food and the quality. Vegetables undercook, flavor was missing. just seemed they just were not on game.
In the past music in the restaurant didn't match the clients that were being served. Hip hop, when business is being conducted. Taking out clients to places that set the mood for the night is so important. So not sure this it our kind of place."

"We were very surprised by how much they have decreased their portions. One in our party ordered a chopped salad but was concerned it might be too big. The waiter confirmed it was a very good size so I volunteered to split it with her, even though I had planned to get another salad. The 2 portions delivered were very, very small. The main entrees, like the steaks were much smaller than before & smaller than their competitors' current sizes. Very disappointing. We're not going back. Will go instead to Flemings, or Sullivans, or Reys."

"Terrible service it took 2 1/2 hours for 4 of us to get our dinner. There were only 10 diners and we were 4 of the 10. The manager came up to us and said what a wonderful waiter we had. He had been there for three years. He was horrible!! It took 30 minutes ++ to get apps meal and dessert. We will never go back to that restaurant. The meal was over $350 for 4 people and that included three mixed drinks and two glasses of wine. We split desserts A real disappointment. We were celebrating a birthday!!"

"The steak is always the reason to goto Ruth's Chris and it was the usual fabulous. The wine list seemed a little tired a really lacking in interesting single glass pours. It would seem to me with the proliferation of great wine, RC could be a little more creative. A Catena Malbec as a house wine at RC prices is lame. The server was attentive but overly focused on being a show rather than provide service that faded into the background. I think I need to find another place to that does steak this well."

Of course it is very expensive, my husband and I paid $218 for 3 drinks, 2 soft drinks, an appetizer, porterhouse for 2 ($89), 2 sides, 2 desserts, and the tip, but it was worth every penny!"

"Dined here for a late valentine's dinner and didn't start off on the right foot because even with a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table, standing in a crowded host area. The hostess, although friendly upon arrival, ignored us the rest of the wait, never bothering to update us on our wait time, or even mention why we had to wait. I wouldn't be to upset by that, but I did call to confirm the reservation earlier that afternoon. The service was efficient, but somewhat scripted.My steak however was perfect. I realize that for a good steak dinner you expect a hefty price tag, but overall it seemed overpriced in comparison to the experiences I've had at other high end restaurants.Guess the "chain" stigma reared it's ugly head again?"

"Ruth's Chris always has excellent food and friendly, professional service. For Valentine's Day, they modify their menu to include salads and a side with the entree (usually sold separately). This increased the base price for our meal; however, it was a special occasion and I knew this was not a cheap meal. For a party of three, this meal + tip was $270. I usually spend about $50/person eating there. They called me two days before our reservations to make sure we were still coming and called the day after our visit to ensure we were happy. Overall, it was an experience I'd gladly repeat and would recommend it to anyone, as long as they knew it was a fine-dining experience, not an inexpensive meal."

"We went to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. The food was great, our waitress was great as well. The only complaint that I have is that we had dropped off a cake earlier for them to bring out after dinner as a surprise and I guess the waitress was not told this since she brought out the dessert menu and we had to tell her about the cake in front of everyone but not a big deal at all. I would love to go back for another special ocassion."

"I made the reservation because of my birthday and once there, just the lady at the entrance said happy birthday, nobody else said something, no candles, and then we ordered a cup of fruit for my little one, it never came, and they didn't have the bread pudding that the showed in the menu, anyway, we complained and at the end, the manager told me, (almost when we where at the door leaving) "next time, the bread pudding will be on us". Sure but my birthday at Ruth Chris in Raleigh gave a bad taste already, so I won't come back."

"As usual, this location had the best service of any of the area locations.
I was disappointed with the restaurant week menu, the Caesar salad and

"Everything was fantastic. When I think of going out on a festive occasion this is always at the top of our list. The food was great, They really know how to cook a steak. Of course the rest of the food is pretty darn good. I don't think I've ever had a pork chop (although everyone tells me there great). Same goes for chicken but the lady next to us had chicken and she said that's all she eats so enough said. It was restaurant week and while it seemed like a great deal (it really was), we were on our annivesary and we wanted more. The truth be told it's expensive but you know it's going to be so you just enjoy. We enjoyed ourselves for 3 & 1/2 hours and no one hovered over us. Our waiter was very helpful and very friendly."

"Steaks cooked incorrectly. Drinks spilled by our waiter on our tablecloth and drinks not replaced. At $14.00 a drink you would think they would have been replaced. Asparagus ordered with Hollandaise sauce. Where's the sauce? Asparagus came to the table cold as well. Breadpudding for dessert was at best mediocre. Four meals for $380.00 total? Not again. Sorry."
