"My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this place! We are yet to go and not drool and moan over everything we have eaten. The food takes out breath away every time. The waitstaff is amazing and are not only polite, but also fun. I highly recommend Bricco to anyone who is looking for a romantic evening or just looking for some absolutely delicious food. I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about Bricco. Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever found. I will be going back there again and again and again for as long as I live in this area."

"Consistently high quality food, excellent preparation, imaginative menu that changes seasonally! Really the best restaurant in the Harrisburg area that we've been too. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality food, unique dishes and very good service. Enjoyed an appetizer of fresh spring peas with smoked feta cheese seasoned with grilled red onion & mint; main dishes: risotto with mushrooms, asparagus & spring onions; shrimp ravioli with asparagus butter sauce; Florida red grouper sauteed & roasted on a bed of spring vegetable succotash with spring onion pesto. What an incredibly tasty and creative use of very fresh ingredients - no frozen veg's here. Try the "Cafe Excellence" coffee - superb! Go to Bricco to be WOWED!"

"I am a recent HACC graduate and decided to celebrate my graduation there. The quality of customer service was evident from the moment we arrived. The food selection was wonderful and the selections that we made was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and did not ignore the two kids we had with us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone whether they are foodies, want a different place for lunch than the normal grind, or want a special dinner out with loved ones or associates."

"Bricco's makes most delicious Duck Pappardelle, really very very tasty; I had it there on a number of occasions and I really like it. What's also awesome is they let you buy half sized portions of some entrees so you are not overstuffed before going to a show later. I recommended that duck dish to my friend and she enjoyed it too. They have great breads, they have interesting little appetizers and tasty small guilt-free-sized desserts. Our server was attentive but not overbearing, and the dining experience most pleasant."

"Apps are great! The pizza is terrific, salads awesome! Dinner - not - crab cakes were minnies and salmon waaaay over-cooked.
Cap was good with2x espresso, desserts - how small can a Cheese cake be and still qualify? Gelato was tasteless.
Seating - why seat us in the kitchen draft when there are tons of empty in a nicer location? Disappointing.

"Restaurant was not too busy, although a large group came in while we were eating (12 in all). Service was a little slow at first, but picked up nicely. "We sat at a high top table in the bar for happy hour and enjoyed everything we ordered. The bartender was extremely attentive and made sure that he didm not neglect us or his patrons at the bar. We ordered a variety of oysters, $1.50 each in the bar area from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm and they arrived perfectly shucked over ice with the name of each type written on an empty shell so that we knew which ones we were sampling. They were outstanding. Their menu is adventurous and locally sourced and we have never been disappointed here."

"We got there at 6:15 on a Friday, so the happy hour crowd was still there, which gave the atmosphere a fun vibe. Unfortunately, that also slowed our service down and we didn't leave until 8:45pm. Our waiter was working hard, but he just took a very long time to get back to us at each stage of our meal.
We started with raw oysters which were very fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the person who brought them to us didn't explain which varieties were where on the platter, so we didn't know which varieties we were eating. The beef tips were tender and had a fantasic savory sauce. The trout with capers was well cooked and well seasoned. The gnocchi was rather grainy. A good night, not a great one."

"The combination of the local produce and other ingredients with the homemade breads and desserts by culinary students make this a perfect way to support the community and have a fine dining experience. The drink menu is fun and inventive. The mini desserts are a great way to treat yourself without going overboard. Press pots of coffee are available now too. "The food was well prepared and extremely flavorful. I think I was just expecting a more eclectic and unique menu and most of it was fairly tame. I might even say comfortably familiar. Nontheless, if you are jonesing for good pasta or a nice roast beast, you won't regret choosing Bricco. "My review won't do the restaurant justice because we had a very early dinner reservation on a Wednesday evening and were leaving just as business began to pick up. All I can say is that I am an embarrassingly picky eater and my friend is an excellent cook and something of a foodie. We were both pleased with the number and variety of offerings and were talking about our meals for the rest of the evening. I look forward to returning to try some of the other delightful dishes listed on Bricco's menu."

"Nice place. Decent food, perhaps a bit too trendy. Portions were reasonable to just a bit small. Price was moderate, $26pp...but unknowingly my wife order two glasses of wine priced at $15 per glass and the bill was a bit salty at the end of the evening."

"Bricco has good food and very nice ambiance. However, our last visit was a little disappointing. Although they weren't very busy they put the two of us at an out of the way large booth, which wouldn't have been my preference. My wife got a seafood special which was supposed to be either trout or sea bass. She order the trout but later realized that she was eating sea bass not trout. She liked it very much, but it wasn't what she ordered. I was disappointed at the price of the beer - a Yards draft - which they charged me $7.00 for."

"This was our third trip here, probably the best food we've had in those visits. Especially strong pasta dishes this trip. The sage pappardelle with duck ragu is always a winner. Pleasantly surprised by the sweet potato ravioli - sweetness of the potato was cut really nicely with brown butter and amaretti crumbles added some texture to the dish. The winner for the night was a really strong mushroom risotto - perfectly cooked and showcased everything good about mushrooms! Really well done. The porchetta was also succulent and delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly and professional despite being spread too thin that night - hire a bus boy! We'll definitely go back again."

"We were disappointed with both the food and the service. The "wedge" salad was a few leaves of butter lettuce with a thin blue cheese dressing, and the chicken under brick was just barely cooked. Tomato soup and budino were outstanding, as always. Our server acted as though she was doing us a favor by waiting on us and, I believe, served me caffeinated coffee when I asked her to replace the lukewarm cup she had brought the first time around. The ensuing nightlong buzz was not justified by this experience at Bricco."

"Always love coming here. Was a little disappointed this time with the pizza.They had a pizza with Bone Marrow,spinach,ricotta, and mushrooms. I never order pizza but this sounded interesting so I got it as an app and figured I would take some home for lunch. IDK if there wasn't enough Bone Marrow or what but the dish was flat. Definitely won't keep me from coming back but I was a bit disappointed."

"As a celiac and bringing my gluten-sensitive vegetarian daughter, we were very happy to receive excellent service and food. The waiter was knowledgeable about what we could have or what could be adapted. The meal started with a grilled gluten-free bread with the olive oil dipping plates. Wonderful. In fact, my non-celiac husband liked the gluten free offering even more than the fresh bread he and my son had.
Am looking forward to coming back again."

"Over all, this was the best dining experience we have had in Pennsylvania. Usually we go to larger cities out of state to enjoy dining at this level. Truly a gem! The bartender was exceptional, and catered to our son's *virgin martini* fruit drink, Mary was an exceptional wait person. Soux Chef Jessica came out to speak to us, and even made me a special dessert, which was surprising, but I was extremely grateful! The food was 4 star. We all had different starters, primi, and secondi (as well as desserts) and there was not a sour note in any of the dishes, the flavor, the quality, or the cooking style. For me, the Squid Ink pasta with clams was the star, for my husband the Polenta, and for my son was the Gold Flake Risotto."

"We sampled both the house cocktail specials as well as wine by the glass. They have a lot of eclectic choices for apps and tapas as well as entrees. We sample the chicken 'under brick' which has great flavor but I thought I was wrestling a live chicken as I couldn't figure out the shape after it had been flattened. Tasty. The other meal was sea bass and received rave reviews. No apps or desserts to report on. I really enjoyed the upscale decor and the place was jammed on a Saturday night, pre-symphony. I would return. This is NOT traditional American menu."
