"1h 1/2 d'attente pour le plat principal de 2 de nos invités (on était 5), on aurait pu leur suggérer de prendre une entrée ou quelques chose du genre. 1h30 vraiment de 7h à 8h30 sans rien, le resto était presque vide un dimanche soir."

"Recommended for business lunches and quiet dinner experiences. I had invited a friend / former colleague for a late birthday lunch. Upon knowing it was a birthday invitation, even if it was "belated", our charming and attentive waitress brough her a piece of cake with a sparkler candle! The special touch was very appreciated and the cake - a chocolate / caramel mousse - was luscious! We did not plan to have dessert but next time around, we will surely plan ahead and stick around for dessert! The service was very attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We were made to feel very welcome there. It was my first time at Vargas but I've noticed that there were many regulars. I know why and I plan to become one too!"

"A group of 9 of us went to Vargas for dinner. First impression was good, nice decor and Atmosphere. The waiter came and took our drink order quickly, however the service started to go downhill from there. He never returned to my end of the table to check on whether we needed another drink (alcoholic beverage), so half of us only got one drink despite being there for over an hour. He also failed to refill our waters until I asked him to.
The food came out in a fairly timely fashion, and was good, although not up to par with the 23/30 Zagat rating. The seafood wasn't fresh and the steaks were good, but not real steakhouse quality. Overall it was a decent meal, but I've had much better for less elsewhere."
