Koutouki Taverna
Koutouki Taverna is a family-run Greek restaurant offering up authentic Greek food and a lively atmosphere. We use nothing but the freshest ingredients in our recipes, that are homemade in house daily. The decor is comfortable,welcoming, and resembles a quaint taverna one might stumble upon when travelling the Greek isles. However, on Fridays and Saturdays when the sun goes down, the energy goes up. Bellydancing, plate smashing, and Zorba dancing make for an exciting and memorable dining experience.

"I love the energy at Koutouki. There are always large groups having a riot, smashing plates and dancing with the belly dancers. It's a fun glance into Greek culture, and a delicious dining experience. Wear your stretchy pants, the portions are large, and you can help but want to try and finish your plate! Not my first pick for a romantic dinner. It's loud and full of energy. A fun night out!"

"I went with some close friends and we had a great time. We didn't stay for the friday night entertainment of belly dancers and what not, but I've been there before and had an exceptional time watching them. The food was fantastic, as was the service. If you haven't tried tzatziki or humous before, get the appetizer of four dips and some pita. They are separate on the menu though. While it is a bit pricey, the restraunt has an authentic greek feel to it, and is decorated in complete love of Greece. My only complaints are the chairs, and the parking. Parking is on the street isn't allowed until after 6pm. Now, I know I'm going to sound nit picky, but the chairs were horribly uncomfortable, unless you are built a certain way."

"I went to the Koutouki in Saskatoon on a trip and love the food there.
Thought I should try out the Koutouki here and see how it goes.
I ordered lamb rack between medium rare and medium (just to be safe, because there were some comments regarding over-cooking) and it came back just right: juicy and not burnt!
(Almost no red in the meat).
Dolmadez was not bad. Salad was fresh. Again, these are traditional dishes; if they taste real bad, there would be some problems here...lol
Average restaurant with fairly decent food portion.
Nothing really to complain about, but it wouldn't be those kinds of experience that would make you revisit the next week."

"We went before going to the theatre, had early reservation (6pm) and thought that might have been an unnecessary step, but by 6:30 the place was hopping and full. To avoid having to make decisions we chose the metze, and the food started coming fast and furiously. The pita was marvelously fresh, and the spreads were tasty, Calamari was perfect, huge fresh grrek salad, and the rest of the dishes didn't disappoint either. Friendly and efficient service, good value, and I'll be back!"

"The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Although I like the belly dancer, people coming to the restaurant should realize that it's almost impossible to have a conversation while she is performing, because the music is turned up so loudly.
Was disappointed not to get the ribs early on a Saturday evening. Apparently they were sold out.
But all in all, the food is always reliable, the portions generous and the atmosphere lively."

"A group of us ladies went for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night, it was so much fun! Great food, and great wine! The service was great while also allowing our table to enjoy the belly dancer's performance and plate smashing without being interrupted and able to enjoy the show! "Great food as always, but we came secondary to a group of 25 people. Our waitress hardly paid attention to us and we constantly had to flag her down to either order, ask questions or even get our bill. My friends were unimpressed. Again, I love the place but the service was lousy that night."
