Café Boulud Palm Beach
Café Boulud Palm Beach is located in the Brazilian Court Hotel at 301 Australian Avenue. The ever changing menu reflects Chef Daniel Boulud’s seasonal French-American cuisine. We feature a lively weekend brunch for $29 and a $25 prix-fixe weekday lunch. At dinner we offer a $35 3-course menu Sunday through Thursday evenings in addition to our a la carte menu. Happy Hour is offered daily in our adjacent lounge and bar from 4pm-7:30pm. We offer BYOB on Tuesday nights through the summer months, with no corkage fee.
For your private and corporate events we offer two private dining options: The Ballroom (seated events for up to 90 & receptions for up to 120) and The Conservatory (seated events for up to 50 and receptions for up to 80). Our Ballroom and Conservatory offer guests flexibility for formal meetings, private business entertaining or social soirées.

"This restaurant did not disappoint with food or service. The waiter was very friendly and informative. Only negative was recommending an off menu item that was not actually available and a theme of "all other restaurants in PB are bad" . The wine was perfectly paired to a wonderful dinner. Not much left on our plates when we were done and that is rare for my wife. I will go back after the checking account is replenished."

"Wonderful treat for Mother's Day. Food was good and although full not as crowded as other venues for the holiday. We've come here often as a treat but never for Mother's Day. We may make this a new tradition. It was the perfect place, and brunch the perfect time, for the 6 and 10 year old to get exposed to fine dining. Mom, Nana and Aunt didin't mind it either. "The individually made guacamole was wonderful as was the crab Benedict and I could eat my weight in red and yellow beets with caramelized walnuts. Nice fresh salads, carved meats and omelet station. Could use a few gooey obscene desserts along with the picture perfect little custards and mousse. Food quality and upbeat atmosphere justified the high price. Great place for special occasion brunch or treat for serious foodies. Delicious dark chocolate candy bar gift for moms."

"I dined here about a year ago for lunch, and had a first class experience at a moderate price. I booked this reservation for mother's day not knowing that there was a special holiday brunch. The selection of food was amazing, and the quality of the food was good to excellent. I experienced sticker shock when I received the bill, however. It was twice the cost of the usual prix fixe menu! Be forewarned. Otherwise a very pleasant experience."

"It was o-kay. Unfortunately this was my birthday dinner so it was disappointing. This is prob a great spot to take your parents--we probably brought the average age of the patrons down by 30+ yrs. The restaurant set the tone of the evening when we checked in; the hostess firmly refused to seat us in the outdoor garden area even though it was practically empty. As we were finishing up dinner (decent but not worth what we paid) we witnessed an elderly patron confronting the hostess about the same issue after her dinner. More ppl outside seated at that point but still there were vacant tables. I don't plan to return!"

"We were extremely disaapointed. I have been before(many times) and no problem but the whole tenor has changed.
Disinterested staff whose goal seems to feed you and go on to the next billing.
Waiter blase. One of us ordered the Tasting menu and he wanted the dessert order at that time
even though it was a fruit platter as to "make it easier on the kitchen". Really??? That's not
my problem when lunching.

"A special treat for a romantic night out. The menu is interesting and innovative with many unusual ingredients. The French Martini generous in size lasted the entire dinner. My tuna sashimi appetizer was full of flavors ginger, lemon, wasabi and pepper with the most delicious salad dressing. I opted for the appetizer portion of the grilled octopus and prawn dish with mushroom and pea risotto so I would have room for dessert so perfectly prepared with each item intense and individual in taste. The waiter from Greece was efficient friendly and not obsequious. The entire staff is professional and really know how to serve properly. Dessert was beautifully presented with a platter of tiny treats. Just the right ending."

"We have been to Cafe Boulud several times and have found that the prix fixe menu, offered Sunday to Thursday, is the best value - $45 for three courses. The food is delicious, you have a good selection of dishes for each course, and the service is lovely. However, you have to ask for the prix fixe menu - it is not given to you. Happy hour at the bar is from 4-7:30, when drinks are half price (not sure if that is every night or not). We have also been there on a Saturday night (last year), which was less satisfactory. The table we were given looked into the bushes, the service wasn't as good, and the prices were about twice as much. So if you want elegant dining at a more affordable price, go Sunday-Thursday!"

"Been to Cafe Boulud many times by now. But the special lunch has some food --mainly the main course that is less than stellar. My Benedict Boulud had a hard cooked fried egg, and when I inquired as to whether this is the way it's usually served, our waiter assured me it was. That surprises me. If you're going to feature a dish as a prix fixe "special" it should measure up to anything else on the menu, a la carte or otherwise. Boulud should be known not just for ambience, which it has, but for the high standard of EVERY dish."

"Sadly, this was a very off night for one of our favorite spots. The service was dreadful, though everyone kept apologizing for the hourish wait between starter and main course. There really is no excuse for such a mess midweek, non- holiday, in a kitchen as professional as this one. That being said, we love this place and hope that it was a minor setback."

"The food was very good, and so was the service! What ruined my experience was an obnoxiously rude woman who thought having some money gave her the right to treat the staff and other guests like she was at her home talking to her servants( not that anyone normally polite would talk to anyone in a way like that).
With so many other places to go to, I see no reason to come back. It is good to have been there, but I doubt I will come back. To me this is a place for those who like to see, and being seen."

"When we asked the maitre d' to be seated outside she seemed a little put off by our request and seated us in the hot late morning sun and did not arrange an umbrella. There were multiple empty tables in the shade available for the duration of our brunch so I was very disappointed by this. It did not meet my expectations at all for service. Very poor service. Our waiter was excellent. He saved the day by getting an umbrella for us, without us asking and was delightful. The food was very nice - be prepared to spend top dollar. Overall the setting at the Brazillian Court is beautiful, food and service was excellent. Maitre d' fail."

"We have been to Cafe Boulud on several occasions, but were disappointed with the service on this visit. Our waiter all but abandoned us, and we had to ask various employees walking by to refill our wine glasses/ order dessert/present the bill. There was also a very long wait between courses. Although we still enjoyed the dinner, it was not as memorable as in previous visits."

"Pretty much perfection. Service got a little dicey as the place got busy. I really appreciated the menu which had classic dishes along side more innovative and pan-ethnic offerings. The use of local and central/south American ingredients was very effective. Wine list was eclectic and well engineered. Tried and appreciated some wines I never would have considered. Certainly the best meal I had in South Florida."

"We dined there first time and were disapointed. We expected much more of the place like Boulud. Food was overall avarage, service very poor. Waiter almost didn't bother to explain what was in the menu. They forgot to offer us bread as they walked around with a bread tray. We had to ask it. Food took long time to get in the table and waiter forgot our drinks. He remebered it when we gave him hintful looks.
I didn't expect high class place like this has cold and almost rude service. After asking if it's possible to get our seating earlier, service guy answer was- Probably not. Client service primary rule- never say not or no to your client! We were ok to wait anyhow.
I won't have a dinner there more. Maybe drinks and snacks at the bar."

"This was our second trip to Cafe Boulud. As before, the food was excellent. My two companions and I all had different kinds of dishes (seafood, lamb and vegetarian), and all were excellent. Unfortunately, we were given a corner table by the door to the kitchen, so it was busy with server traffic, which was a bit excessive, and there were other tables in less busy places that we could have been given. The service was very friendly but not particularly attentive. All-in-all, though the food was excellent, considering the prices, the overall experience was a disappointment."

"Disappointing. First restaurant we visited in our stay in Palm Beach.. We had high expectations having experienced and enjoyed all of Boulud's locations in NYC. The ambience and decor is severly lacking for a Boulud restaurant. We eat outside in a clear tarped area. Although the garden in the Hotel looked nice we didnt have the opportunity to experience that. My wife ordered the Caviar for starters. The caviar was as bland as any i have ever tasted. The blinis were very greasy and needed to be wiped off with a napkin to be eaten. There were no other acoutrements other than creme fresh. I had the pork special and it was also bland and lacking any kind of taste. THe best dish served this evening was the mashed potatoes."

"Cafe Boulud Palm Beach resides in the Brazilian Court Hotel on a quiet residential street of Palm Beach. This was my third visit and the food remains top notch. Although I dined outside during earlier visits, we were seated indoors on this visit. Our waiter was informative, suggestive, and highly attentive. Commitment to quality was reflected in that each course was prepared to order and presented artfully. The menu offered traditional breakfast items, lunch sandwiches, lite entrees, and a prix fixe menu. We ordered from the prix fixe menu and were glad we did so."
