"We went for the early dining menu. The lobster (steamed Maine) was excellent and the price was excellent as well. We stumbled into the early dining experience and have enjoyed it four of the five times we have visited Florida. By all means visit The Sea Watch even if you don't get there to experience the early menu. The food, service, and ambience are worth the visit at any time."

"I kept hearing that the view from the porch at the Sea Watch was the best in South Florida, but folks said the restaurant was looking a little tired. NOT ANYMORE! "I used to work at Sea Watch before they remodeled the restaurant and I must say that the renovations were done very nicely. The view is still beautiful and the menus are still presented the same with some slight menu changes which I had expected. I went there with a party of 6 including my little boy. The bread was served shortly after our orders were placed, and it is still as good as I remember! Nice fresh multigrain & pumpernickel. I started with my favorite, the lobster bisque & ordered the Shrimp Salad sandwich for my entree. YUM. The table also ordered the fried seafood combination, seared scallops & the cheeseburger, which my brother said was tasty. Everything was delicious. We ended with the Cobbler a la mode & went on our way!"

"I've gone to Sea Watch on several occasions throughout the past 15 yrs. They're right on the beach! The menu is heavy on seafood as you would expect, but there are non-seafood items. We all enjoyed our meals & a couple of their specialty cocktails. Key lime pie is authentic.

This is a very romantic restaurant/location; there was a wedding right on the sand outside the window by our table - cant beat that for romance :-)

The staff was friendly and attentive without giving you that rushed feeling you get elsewhere."

"Went with my wife for our 10 year anniversary. The view is astonishing, this restaurant is right on the beach, the decor inside is very nice. We ordered the crab cakes, very tasty nice lump fresh crab crispy texture on the outside, nice and moist on the inside. For the main course my wife ordered the blackened mahi, it was cooked perfectly and a sizeable portion. I ordered the bouillabasse - it was awesome, a fresh tomato based broth with all types of seafood in it, shrimps, mussels, clams and fish - nothing was overcooked and the aroma was divine. We had creme brulee for desert only down point was chocolate on the bottom. Service was great, while waiting checked out the second floor. Friendly waiter, checked on us regularly, not intrusive."

"Great food and service for the most part. We had reservations on Mother's Day so it was especially busy. We were seated in the room to the left of the entrance and I was a bit disappointed. The room is much noisier because it is generally used for receptions. tables were set VERY closely together and the view was decidedly diminished. I should have asked to be seated in the main room even if we had to wait a bit. I would have preferred our party of 5 had a booth overlooking the open sea view of the other dining area. The wait staff did their best but were a bit less attentive to us than usual because of the crowd! We did still have a nice time but I will avoid coming on a holiday again."

"This restaurant is right on the beach. Pre-dinner drinks at the upstairs bar/lounge is a must...the view of the ocean from there is spectacular. Only disappointment was I had requested a table with ocean view but got one near a server's station and the staircase.

"Had lunch with a friend at Sea Watch. I had heard so much about the restaurant and was excited to dine there. While it was good, it was not great and I would recommend other restaurants over Sea Watch, even though it does have a really nice view of the ocean. For example, I wanted a nice salad with a piece of fresh fish served on top. It was not on the menu so I asked the waitress if this is something I could order (instead of grilled chicken on the salad). To replace the chicken with a piece of fish, it was an additional $18.00!!! This made the cost fo the salad $30.00. Ridiculous! A seafood restaurant should have a lunch salad offering that includes fresh fish and this does not. I would recommend JBs or Aruba's over Sea Watch anyday."

"Right on the beach with palm trees and a really lovely view of the sea greens leading to the ocean. This time (my second visit) we sat on the covered porch in the corner with an amazing breeze. Heaven! Food and drink were consistently great. Chocolate ganache dessert a reak treat, not too sweet. Will return here!"

"Even though we made a reservation 6 hours before, and got there with 5 minutes to spare they did not have table no only ready but not even close to a decision on where to place us. After a while and after seeing people that got there after us, and did not have a reservation seated. they tried to sit us in a table that for all purposes was inside the kitchen even though being that we had a reference of this restaurant and had ask in the reservation for a table close to the window and the view so at the end the food is good the attention was great, but do not make a reservation"

"I enjoyed the ambiance and the view of the ocean from our table. The food was very good and moderately price. Our server was less than subpar as she was more concerned about a larger table versus a table of 4. Very disinterested and curt. I work in an industry that customer comes first...always and this was not the case. I will go back however, hopefully not the same server. , The valet was very personable and very polite!"

"We were seated near a large party that was very loud - so loud our server had to keep repeating herself so we could understand what she was saying. Our food came out very quickly, but wasn't as flavorful as meals we've had there in the past. Hoping this was just a one time fluke."

"Been several years since my wife and I tried. Now we remember why. Pricey and really not worth it. Stone crab claws were good but not properly served out of shell, NE clam chowder was good but both my mahi mahi and wife's grouper were dry and tasteless even with so called sauces. Will not be returning for dinner. Our money is better spent elsewhere."

"Our waiter/server was awful. He was indifferent at best. There was a large party next to our table and he paid more attention to us. There was an extra chair from the large party that someone left next to my husband's chair so after ten minutes he moved it away. I also had a 30 dollar off coupon for my birthday so maybe that was another reason he ignored us. He did not come back to check on us after we got our food for at least 15 minutes and I asked him for ketchup for my fries. I needed ketchup for my fries but he did not bring it back till I was finished with my meal. I left the fries over hoping he would get the message. It took him almost twenty minutes to see that we were finished as well. My husbands pasta was good though"
