"Great food, could stand to add a few more selections to the wine list. Notably absent were decent Italian reds and moderate Chilean and Argentinian selections which are currently very popular. Food was very savory and service was good. Overall a great dining experience, would definitely revisit on another trip to Dallas."

"This restaurant was a disaster from start to finish. I would recommend it to no one. They definitely do not have their act together. The only pleasant person was the host, who immediately located our reservation (which was not able to be found earlier by phone)and seated us when we arrived. This is not the place to go for anything romantic - dining room is too small as the emphasis is on the bar side of the restaurant. The waiter was horrible - never checked on our food or offered appropriate things during the dinner. Service slow. Do not order the lobster bisque - chef puts preserved lemon shavings in it and it messed up the whole taste. Don't order the risotto - it was extremely dry and sticky. Tenderloin was good. Just don't go."

"I had a business lunch with a colleague. The food was orignial and outstanding. I thought it was a good value, as well. The service was excellent and unobtrusive. We stayed long after the lunch was over to finish our business and were left unpestered until we were done, but not ignored if we needed anything. I am eager to go back with my husband for pleasure.The cherry bread pudding was "to die for"."

"We can't wait to go back. The service was wonderful! Our waiter even made sure my Champagne was bubbly enough. Portions are huge and very creative!"

"Over the last several years, we have frequented dozens & dozens of Dallas restaurants and definately have our favorites. However, for New Years Eve, we were hoping to find a quality experience without the crowd. The Second Floor was just such a gem. While it definately has the feel of a high end hotel on-site restaurant, everything was perfect. As desired, it was busy but certainly not crowded. The food was superb & the service was at a level found in only the best restaurants. Everyone was extremely friendly. The three course price fixe NYE special was delicious at a cost of $69 + $25 for wine parings (excellent wine choices incidentally). Maybe a tad pricey overall, but an outstanding experience if you don't need the NYE hoopla."
