Opened in 1998, Mesa Street Grill is located in El Paso's University and Medical District, and just a few blocks from downtown. Locally owned and operated, we offer a unique dining venue for the El Paso area. Our professional chefs are all graduates of Professional and/or Cordon Blue Culinary Schools. Our menus change seasonally.

"It happens to us time and time again, where we go to recommended restaurants in El Paso and leave disappointed. Not this time! The food at Mesa Street Grille was amazing. It was also enjoyable to be in a restaurant where we felt so welcomed and cared about. So unlike the typical places in El Paso where customer service is non-existent. The general manager actually walked around and asked people if they needed anything! It was great. Their winning combination of great food and great service will keep us coming back. And we'll be spreading the word to others who are looking for a great dining experience. Thanks!"

"In the past I would have given this restaurant a better overall review, but this visit was a bit disappointing. The food was great, everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and my halibut was very good. It took forever though to get our meal. Only one of our group of six ordered an appetizer, yet it took over an hour for us to receive our entrees. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen."

"This has been one of the best restaurants I've been to in El Paso. The food was great, bursting with flavor and good presentation. The service was outstanding. Plus they had a valentines romantic theme, which I wasn't expecting. I would defenitely recommend this establishment for a romantic dinner. Be warned the food is expensive, but in my opinion worth the price."

"Each dish was excellent! I, and other's around me will verify that I tend to be the adventurous type when it comes to food. I have a goal in life to try it all. Along with my many travels all over America, I've come to try many different foods, spices, and variations. I have to say this restaurant is on the top of my list. Whenever I visit El Paso, I will definitely visit Mesa Street Grill, and will always recommend to others. I will be living in El Paso for another 4 months and am determined to try every dish on their menu, until I move again. A real El Paso treasure!A poster on one of their walls puts it modestly..."C'est bon!" (It is good). But I say, "C'est magnifique!" (It is magnificent!)"

"Savoriness of the food was beyond reproach. Beef Short ribs and Salmon with wild berry compote were delicious. What needs work are the details. Short ribs were served warmish, dinner salad came out with the meal, waters were NEVER refilled nor were iced tea or coke.
Salad was sent back but not removed from the bill, but we didn't mention since the slice of birthday cake and coffee were on the house - we figured it evened out.
Also unusual was that our open table reservation for 4 at 6PM somehow got into their system as 4 at 8:30PM? Luckily there was a table available, otherwise this would have been a big annoyance."
