"Great place for a romantic dinner if you have room in your budget. The wine and food menu offered several alternatives. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. We even had entertainment on that Saturday evening (light signing and piano playing - nothing disruptive).
Service was timely and thoughtful. For example, we were given cushions and blankets so we could enjoy our pre-dinner drink outdoors. Overall, a pleasurable experience. We'll go back for sure."

"This is such a wonderful restaurant that should be rated the BEST in Oakville. We had two entres that were split to share. The Calamari and a Beet Salad that were excellent. My wife had the duck and I had the steak. Not always a red meat fan, but this was cooked to a perfect medium, and was better than most high end steak houses I have tried. Supurb. The duck was smokey and prfect as well. Presentations and vegatables were wonderfull and flavourful as well. Everything was toped off by a chocolate desert that was not too filling, and a perfect conclusion to a perfect meal....Highly recommend."

"Our first visit to Cucci and they lived up to expectations. Service was outstanding, food was nicely prepared and presented. The live piano player in the background was a nice touch. We had booked a reservation online and noted it was our 30th anniversary. To our surprise (and delight) after we were seated two glasses of champagne, with a floating raspberry arrived along with anniversary greeting from our waitress. Nice touch!"

"I was visiting my elderly mother from Vancouver and wanted to take ,her out for lunch on my last day there. Based on the comments I found online I booked a table at Cucci's the evening before. After taking my mom with her walker inside and then parking I found they had given her the worst table in the house by a large post and directly in front of entrance even tho it wasn't full and we had reserved. Most of the tables were surrounding a cozy fire where all other guests were seated and a table was available. They did move us to a table by a window. House salad was tasty but only had one braised leek in it. Pastas were very rich and filling. Server was good but check a long time coming."

"This is a favorite restaurant of mine, and it's nice and close to home, so a bonus. I am never disappointed with the food, atmosphere and friendly smiles. We went for Easter brunch, and while the selection was not huge, it was made up for my the taste and quality. One improvement would have been on the desserts..there were a few different squares and cookies, but a nice cake or fancier dessert would have been nice for an Easter brunch.
While the service is typically outstanding, I was a bit disappointed at the lack of attentiveness. Maybe this was due to dining early,it was not that busy, so the servers werent rushed, and had time to stand around to chat. At times I felt we were forogotten as our plates piled up on the table."

"Cucci's ambiance was great...nice jazz music, dim lights and very clean...great romantic dining. However, I thought that the price of the food didn't exactly match the quality. My husband had steak and I had the prime rib and we found both of them bland. Calling the restaurant "modern Italian" is also misleading. Aside from some Italian dishes the place is more North American cuisine than Italian. All in all, I would probably come back but not for a while and mostly for the ambiance."

"Took my boyfriend to Cucci for his birthday. We were very warmly welcomed when we walked in and my coat taken immediately. The service was amazing - very attentive and the food and drinks were delivered very quickly. The atmosphere was very romantic. There was a piano player there who played beautiful music during our meal. They brought out a very yummy piece of cake for my boyfriends birthday and the piano player even played happy birthday. It was a great experience and we will definitely be returning!"

From the time you arrive until the time you leave and are thanked by the host/owner service is impeccable. It was very timely and attentive and we never wanted for anything. The food portions are very large for a "nouvelle cuisine" fine dining restaurant and everything was very tasty.
Our Harvest salad and Beet salad starters were very fresh and had a unique combination of ingredients includi pangratatto and whipped goat cheese. Our entrees included sea scallops with Risotto and crab meat and a duck breast which obviously came from a large duck
The only downside is the bar is a little noisy if you are in the same roo"

"We have been to Cussi a couple of times in the past however, this time while most dishes were quite good, the grilled calamari was very rubbery and unedible while the venison when ordered medium rare, came medium rare. While the cesar salad and stuffed chicken were good,when a couple of dishes are not acceptable in a restaurant of this level, it is not favorable. We will go again, but probably not for a while."

"Nice restaurant. Good service, good food. Didn't expect it to be a place that people would bring little kids to considering the menu and price. When we go to a special restaurant we like to have a nice, quiet dinner with nice background music. They did have a pianist which was nice but not relaxing due to the din caused by kids. This is not a Kelseys afterall! This is our 2nd time here, first time was excellent, there were no kids and therefore a nice ambiance."

"This is a great upscale resto for any man to take his girlfriend on a date or for an upscale business dinner.
Our server was fantastic and not overbearing.
We are pretty picky eaters, and although we ordered things that we had never had before, everything was cooked and presented to perfection.
The upscale location DOES come with an upscale price, however for the service, quality and wonderful ambiance you get, the cost is well worth it!!"

We ordered fish, steak and lamb, and all 3 of our meals were equally amazing (which rarely happens). This was complimented with excellent service.
I especially enjoyed the ambiance, and the live music in the background (which was exactly that: background music. It wasn't too loud at all)

"When we walked into the restaurant, we were overcome with the Loud playing of the band. We could not her each other talk and had to really listen as to what was being said to hear above the music. I was hoping for a romantic setting but was discerned by the noise, making it anything but romantic. When the band went on break, the music was softer and more what I wanted to hear while dining.
The service was impeccable as done by our very attentive server Ernie, who grew up in a restaurant atmosphere and had been European trained. He excelled in his art and made us feel really special. We told the manager how great everything was when he came over, and how we loved Ernie. We will definitely go again."

"The warmth and friendliness of the staff were outstanding starting with a welcome at the door and ending with an assist on putting on coats at leaving. Staff at some upscale restaurants put on a certain snobbish air as if to set them apart from the everyday eateries. Cucci's people are the exact opposite and makes one want to return.
