"A very welcome surprise - the food was reasonably priced and superb - our wait staff were both very friendly and obviously, very experienced. Would recommend this restaurant - great small vintner wine list and you can try wine flights.

"We were looking for a place to eat on Friday that was local and remember hearing about Iron Bridge. We walked in and were seated at an intimate table on the second floor looking out over the Main Street below. One table near us was a little loud, but the setting was otherwise pleasant. Our appetizer, the apple pizza was amazing! The entree was good, but I will probably order the lamb chops in the future a little more well done. For desert, I tried to order the creme brûlée but they were out by that time of night. Going early on a Friday night is a must if I want to ensure full menu availability. Finally, I had some of their coffee which was very good as well. Will return for the apple pizza and to try other entrees."

"This is one of my go-to restaurants. The food is always delicious. BUT..My family went for mother's day and I was a little surprised at the cost of the some of the items on the menu. Little pricer than usual, and nothing extra special for mothers. I would not recommend this venue for mother's day. Our table was in the lower basement level, which I am not fond of since it was very dark, and I do like natural light. I asked for a different table on the upper level and they could not accommodate us and said they were going to be crowded. It was 6:15 and the place was not crowded. It may be awhile since I return Although the food is good, I just didn't feel very special on mother's day."

"Loved the cozy atmosphere of this place. The food was outstanding and the service was great as well. The only item we didnt like was the French Onion Soup it lacked flavor and sorta tasted like it came out of a can. The butternut squash raviloi was out of this world, so good, perfect combination of sweet and savory.Dessert was super good and so was the coffee. Little things like no salt and pepper on the tables and some lipstick on water glasses were just bumps in the road otherwise the food was delicious."

"Wine and food selection was terrific as I expected since that is their brand. Typical smaller town groupie place where strangers from out of town get the old eyeball treatment from the regulars. Not uncomfortable because I seek such places because of the humor I find in local attitude toward strangers. Our party enjoyed lamb chops, pork loin and frisee salad all rated very high by all three of us. After dinner you have a chance to stroll a nice small neighborhood feeling safe and with an opportunity to stop in a several other small places on the main street."

"Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with family. We ranged from 16 to 79 years of age. My niece is a very picky eater and they very accommodating. All our dinners were wonderful. The waitress was friendly and patient with our party of nine. I don't know if she was fairly new or that we were overwhelming but she was not as detailed as I would have liked. But we did have a nice experience and will definitely go back."

"I met a small group of former co-workers at the Iron Bridge for lunch. None of us had been there before, but it was in a central location and we all drove from locations outside Warrenton. Business was slow at lunch the day we were there, so it was quiet and we did not feel riushed. The food was exceptional and the servers were very attentive. It was a terrific experience and we will be back."

"This is one of our "you can't go wrong places." We brought our "foodie" friends from New York State there. They loved it. We were having trouble choosing a wine, so our server brought over two to try. We were very happy with the new Malbec on the wine list. The PEI Mussels appetizer was a big hit. You can taste the sausage in the broth and, if you don't mind a four alarm fire in your mouth, you can enjoy a piece or two of sausage. All four of the entrees were well-received. We covered the range: the trout special; New Zealand lamb chops; tea smoked duck breast; and eggplant parm. The service was, as usual, attentive and outstanding."

"This was our second visit and it was an enjoyable one mainly because the service was outstanding and our company was fantastic. The food, was better the first time around. We ordered the scallops appetizer; there should be at least 4, not 2 scallops. It was a bit insulting. I ordered the lobster lasagna. It was OK but not smothered in lobster as it was described. I expected more from a special of the night dish. My husband ordered the dry-aged NY strip steak; 1st visit (amazing!), 2nd visit, not so much. It was good, but it seemed like the restaurant had a completely different chef, and not for the better. We will go back - it is nice restaurant and the food is good - I guess, this was just not their night."

"We went for the first time with new friends. Ambience was great and our server was personable and very outgoing. The bread was amazing and the rockfish was good but the 2 ribeyes that were ordered Med and Med Rare both came back well done and tough, dry and tasteless. Very disappointing for a $39 steak. We brought it to our servers attention but didn't want to make a big deal out of it in front of our new friends. It was my 3rd time there and I think that it is a great place to have wine with friends and maybe do an appetizer but I haven't been "wow'd" by the food any of the times I was there - at least not for the prices. I would drive up to Sperryville, VA and hit the Thornton River Grille next time I want a steak."

"A friend recommended Iron Bridge. I looked at the place online, and found it odd that the Warrenton location really didn't have a menu posted, just a 'sample' lunch menu. When we arrived, we were 'informed' that the place had just 'separated' its affiliation with the main one in Columbia. This was evident in the following: prices, wine list, and menu. It cost more to buy a bottle of wine than to buy by the glass. Wine samples were offered at no cost. Starters were like 'small meals' that would serve 2-3 people. Entrees were limited,and no sides were offered ala cart. In all it was more food than we wanted and VERY expensive. $180 for 3 people. Note: order a side for the table, share an entree and desert. Wonder if they can keep the name."

"While the fish and duck were very good the ribeye steak was less than average in quality. For the prices we paid the steak should be excellent. It was far from it. The green beans were raw. I had to use a knife to cut them. While we promptly were served our wine it took forever to get a beer that was ordered. The second beer was equally slow in arriving. The noise was also very loud making conversation difficult. We were very disappointed & will not return."

"My husband and I were very pleased with the Iron Bridge Wine Company, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the wait staff was excellent. We had lobster ravioli and a crusted sea bass and both were absolutely delicious. Dessert was excellent as well, anyone that likes Creme Brulee has to try theirs. We are not wine drinkers which was no big deal because they also have a full bar. We plan to return for dinner very soon. I would recommend this place to friends for sure."

"Rude, inattentive, (and far from busy BTW), main floor bartender cost the restaurant 2 wine orders at the time and our patronage in the future...The food was OK, but service for me is paramount. Sat down at the half-empty bar to wait for our table and the bartender came over, wiped down the bar in front of my girlfriend and I, but did not even acknowledge our presence - much less ask if we'd like to order drinks. He proceeded to converse with other bar patrons sitting directly next to us for a few mins and continued to ignore us. We were so annoyed we went to he bar downstairs and the service was not much better. For the poor service alone I would not recommend this establishment."

"We started with the fried calamari. It was wonderfully seasoned, however it was a bit rubbery, quite shocking considering the reputation of the place. I ordered a caesar salad prior to my entree and it was average. Large leaves, standard caesar dressing, certainly nothing special. My wife ordered the eggplant parmesan, while I ordered the 20 oz. rib eye. My wife enjoyed her meal and said it was,“very good, but not the best I’ve had.” My steak was cooked a perfect medium. The side dishes were broccoli and potatoes. The broccoli was too crunchy and lacked flavor, while the potatoes were uninspiring. We both had glasses of wine which were excellent. Overall;unimpressed with the food given the $$$, but a nice night out."

"Another excellent and pleasant dining experience. It's worth the 18-mile trip each way. We did the Wednesday Burger Night special, which consists of a choice of three special burgers, accompanied by fries, and your choice of wine or an appetizer, for $2013. We opted for the wine and ordered the Truffle Mushroom Pizza as an appetizer. It was very tasty. Both the Steak Burger, with blue cheese, caramelized onion, and mayo, and the Angus Burger, with liver pate, fried egg, Gruyere cheese, and dijon were very good and needed to be eaten with a knife and fork. Not your grandpa's burgers. For dessert, the English Cottage Custard (bread pudding) was just sinful. The service was impeccable."

"My fiancee and I were scouting locations for a rehearsal dinner venue and came across Iron Bridge. Needless to say, we were so very excited to find this option in Warrenton. Their representatives are great to work with and I highly recommend this spot for your special dinner. Terrific wine list!!"

"What's not to love about Iron Bridge Wine Company? The service staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The food is always terrific and the wide selection of wines makes this a great place to bring friends for a wine adventure. Lots of locals call this their favorite spot but they have embraced those of us who have ventured west from the Centreville area."

"From start to finish this was an outstanding experience, enhanced by the friendly and efficient service provided by Becky. For starters, their Caesar salad with its baby red Romaine lettuce and the apple and bacon pizza did the trick. The fish special of the evening, sea bass with grits, was outstanding. I'd like to see it become a permanent part of the menu. Their dessert menu, while limited had two sure-fire winners - the bread pudding and the pear tarte. The wine menu has become a little pricy, over the past year. However, they offer a nice variety by the bottle or glass."

"The Iron Bridge was a great find we were concerned it was going to a place that catered to those just looking for wine and small plates. We were wrong. It had the right size menu with excellent choices to suit all palettes. My wife took me there for my birthday, and was a nice choice The service was outstanding and food well prepared. The restaurant was just the right size for couples and small groups. You didn't feel lost"
