The heart of a gracious clubhouse is a welcoming bar and restaurant where you can enjoy an excellent meal in beautiful surroundings, and entertain with confidence. David's always has an eye on golf, with a wall of windows that overlooks the 18th fairway...but after the sun goes down, the crackling fireplace becomes the focal point. "This was our 2nd visit, and we weren't disappointed! The scallops were 'melt-in-your-mouth' delicious! Our waitress was very helpful in answering questions, and providing suggestions when asked. It is a bit out of the way, unless you play golf in Woodbury, but definitely worth the drive following GPS instructions! Hope to go back when visiting the area."

"We had a very nice Mother's Day brunch here. The food was very good (loved the tuna tar tar and smoked salmon with capers, onions, and eggs). The restaurant wasn't cramped like other Mother's Day venues neither in the dining room or at the buffet."

"Service was excellent. My husbands steak was fantastic and he is very picky. Best green beams I have ever eaten. The popovers and maple butter were to die for. The overall experience was a nice surprise. Beautiful restaurant on a golf course but no one was pretentious."

"Say what?? Supper club...oohh yeaa! Cant belief it, its neatly tucked in a golf course, away from the hectic of today's malls and super lots.
Warm dark leather furniture with and awesome Bar(reminds me of Louie), I was surprise to find a good local draft beer selection ex. Fulton (love it).
We order Cioppino stewed in a spicy tomato broth and Chicken Pot Pie. It all started with a home made blue cheese dressing on a crisp fresh wedge salad, that included fresh Popovers. Yes indeed popover.. say supper club!
Sadly my Cioppino, all the wonderful seafood was in a thick very spicy marinara and not broth. The Chicken Pot Pie, was outstanding.. we will be back. Please have home made desert next time."

"Ordred Steak Oscar, Steak was cooked perfect. The Crab Cakes were horrible, very poor quality lump crab. Also they forgot the Asparagus Tips. Ordered the French Onion rather than the salad, way too salty could not even eat it. Someone other than my server took it from me then someone else besides my server came and asked if I wanted something else. My server never apologized nor acknowledged it and I know she was aware. Would not go back very over priced for the quality of Food and service."

"The food was good, and the atmosphere very nice.
The "seafood buffet" on Easter was misleading, only amounted to smoked salmon and peel-and-eat shrimp.
Very disappointing for the price ($30.00 / per adult)when the reservationist told me the "seafood buffet" would inlude crab legs.
Good mashed potatoes, but no gravy was served.

"This is the first time we have gone to Easter Brunch here with the new ownership and we were incredibly disappointed. First, our table service was, quite frankly, terrible. After waiting 15 minutes to get an omelette, I came back to our table and still did not have a drink. My husband never got a refill on his water when he asked. The selection of food was dramatically reduced. It may seem minor to some, but to not have gravy for mashed potatoes or chicken on a buffet was surprising. Having 2 young children, there used to be a children's buffet and that was gone. There were only 3 dessert selections as well, which were dry and the food was lukewarm. For $30/person, this was unacceptable and we definitely won't be back for a buffet."

"My husband said he had the best steak of his life! He asked the server to give his thanks to the chef but instead, Chef Joe came out to talk to us! The Reggiano scalloped potatoes were to die for and the pop-overs they serve are the size of a small baby. The server was knowledgable and friendly but lacked a certain "zest". All in all it was a fantastic experience and we most definitly will be back!"

"Fantastic evening, we arrived early for a drink at the bar. The bartenders were most helpful and kind. Our table was a half- booth, we enjoyed it. The waitress (beth?) was one of the best waitresses we've ever had anywhere! Food was unbelievable, we had prime rib and a filet. They were some of the best cooked pieces of meat we have ever had. Can't wait to come back. I've been telling everyone about this fantastic food and service. Thank you for a great night"

"I reserved a table (Open Table) for 4 and requested a booth if possible. I appreciated both a phone message and an email confirming our reservation; We arrived on time and were seated immediately in a booth, as per our request. We were meeting good friends ~ we enjoyed the friendly welcome by staff, the food was wonderful and the friendly atmosphere was perfect for our occasion. Our server was OK ~ she was friendly; it took a long time to be greeted and for her to return to our table to bring popovers, check on the food and to bring the check. Everything else was very enjoyable and we will return to David's Chophouses. We used to live in Woodbury, now live up north in the Brainerd Lakes Area, but return to the cities often."

WE HAD THE PRAWNS FOR OUR APPETIZER WHICH WERE EXCELLENT,WEDGE SALADS THAT WERE CRISP AND COLD WITH VERY NICE BLUE CHEESE DRESSING AND OUT OF THE WORLD POPOVERS. MAIN COURSE CONSISTED OF PRIME RIB AND STEAK OSCAR WITH ROSEMARY LEMON MASHED POTATOES. THE FOOD WAS BEYOND EXCELLENT IT WAS SO GOOD THAT I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE CHEF TO TELL HIM HOW AWESOME OUR DINNER WAS.

"I REALLY want to like this place....but the food is marginal for the price. Drop your prices by 20% and you may get more visitors. I know I'm not alone when I'm in on a Saturday night and 50% of the tables are empty."
