"We have dined here before and this was our worst experience. We waited 10 minutes to be approached and ordered drinks, 1 of which is on their drink feature list. They did not have the vodka to make the drink. 10 minutes later the waiter brings my drink and we waited another 15 for my husbands, which he ordered on the rocks and it was served up. The steak was good, but the side of cajun spinach had no flavor and was swimming in cheese sauce. When we asked for the bill, we had been charged twice for our drinks. Bad service and not worth the price. Not going back."

"Love their food. Very nicely done. They could do something different with their portion sizes. The pasta dishes are priced high because it's a pound of pasta. You can't eat it all. Smaller sized steaks would be nice too."

"Only real complaint was brief thumping music when adjacent bar / club opened up. This put a slight damper in the normallt very romantic atmosphere. Food is really good but not over the top phenominal. Service is outstanding. Love the free valet service!"

"We dined during the week when it was not as busy. Very nice for an intimate anniversary dinner. The lobster crab cakes were delicious. The steaks were done perfectly and our waiter Justin was very knowlegable about the wines."

"We had a wonderful dinner and the staff was very professional. They went above and beyond in their service. Patrick came out to introduce himself and we were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism as well. They were knowledgable of Celiac disease and were able to accomodate my food allergies."

"Everything was great! They are a little pricey but I think you get what you pay for. I know when you pay the high price at some places you get small portions and are paying more for the presentation of the food on the plate and the service. Here you are getting the whole package: good size portions, excellent service,& great tasting food."

"Service was spectacular! Food was just ok. I was surprised that no side dishes were served with the entree, nor were they offered when ordering. I thought the pricing was strange. Every little item including sauce for the steak had an extra charge. I think it would be better just to increase the overall price of the entree and just include things like side dishes and sauces."

"Given the previous times I was there, I was actually disappointed. The new menu is much shorter than their old menu, to the point of feeling very limiting. The menu also is completely lacking items they do actually offer, such as salads. Their special dinner for LaughFest was only advertised on the door on the way out of the restaurant, and our waitress never informed us of that as an option.
The service was good, however our meals took a while to arrive, and we ended up getting to our event late.
As far as the food quality, everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. However, both the risotto and the mashed potatoes were really over salted."

"We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and were seated immediately, in spite of it being St Patrick's weekend. The service at our table was good, but not great, even though you expect exceptional service at a restaurant like this. When we ordered soup, the waiter forgot to bring spoons, and we had to wait almost 10 minutes before he brought them. He also brought steak knives for everyone at our table, except my husband, so he had to ask for one, and again wait. The food was delicious. The grilled Caesar salad was especially good. Our steaks were good, and the fillet was very tender."

"Dustin our waiter was outstanding, and led us through the menu with fantastic twists and turns. We have eaten here before, but this particular trip was our best. We also like the remodel of the restaurant. Highly recommended to all."

"From the moment we stepped up to the front door to the moment we left, we were well served! My husband and I have eaten at several locally owned and chain establishments, and he always seems indifferent, neither liking nor disliking the food. Louis Benton was a whole different story! The service was second to none. And the food...oh my goodness! We had a four-course meal: an appetizer (Thai Rock Shrimp), soup and salad (I had the Grilled Ceasar salad, my husband chose the French Onion soup), entree (New York Strip and Seafood Trio Pasta), and dessert (cheesecake and black forest cake). We took home a full meal of leftovers. Everything was cooked to perfection. One of GR's best kept secrets!"

"Louis Benton is one of those places you may only go to once or twice a year, most likley for special occasions. It is one of only a few fine dining restaurants my wife and I have ever been to, but only go when we have a GROUPON as it is otherwise cost-prohibitive. The ambiance and service is what you might expect from such a restaurant, far above average."

"Our experience was a little disappointing. When you make the decision to go to a high-end establishment there are certain aspects you expect them to get correct the first time. Our waiter was very attentive but our entrees came within minutes after our salad course arrived which I don't feel is acceptable. To make matters worse, the filet that I requested to be medium was extremely rare so I am not sure why it was rushed to my table in the first place. It took 20 minutes to get my meal after it was sent back, my wife was done eating by this time, which when returned was still rare but much closer to medium so I ate it. I am not sure if I will go back, this was my first time here so maybe my experience was not the norm. I would hope not!"

"Maybe it the normal chef had the night off (it was the weekend before Valentine's day), but the food was just not good. Things were overall quite salty. I ordered prime rib, medium, and really had to saw through it. My wife's Roquefort steak pasta dish was full of gristle. Our waiter was fantastic and took good care of us but that was the only thing we liked.
Like I said, maybe they just had an off night, but for the price and other reviews I expected much better."

"Food was good, service was good. Atmosphere was struggling... Jazz club music was flowing into main dining hall and main dining had other music playing... just really struggled... they need to pay attention to details and feel of rest."

"We had a reservation for 7:15pm and didn't actually get seated until after 7:35pm. As there were many other people waiting, we stood in the cold, drafty lobby. The bar was given as an option, but the music was way too loud. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and making suggestions. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. The prices are very high. Not a good value."

"It has been a couple of years since we had been to Louis Benton (not since Ruth's Chris opened). A friend gave a coupon for by one dinner get one free, so we decided to go. Well the coupon was miss leading as there are no dinners for $15, so it should have stated $15 off a dinner for 2. But the real issue was the food and service were not very good for the money. The service was rushed, we had appertiser, dinner and bottle of wine in less than 1 hour. The table next to us had their steaks served when they were just starting their salads. Back to the quality of the food. Other than the $15 off we saved nothing over having dinner at Ruth's Chris and would have had a better meal, better wine selections and would not have been rushed"
